Preface
The world began in fire, ice, and lightning. Light rose from the shadows creating the lover suns that ruled over the world. Adon and Gitla. They brought forth life. Creating plants and animals to fill the lands and seas. Everyone was at peace and prospered. The shadows receded to the depths of the world. The moon, Nuna, was lonely. Each night the living things would hide in their homes letting only the sun god and goddess have their praise and life. So, in her heartache, she brought forth from the elemental chaos forward and gave them form.
Fire took the form of a slithering, winding beast. Its body covered in spots as if looking into the coles of a fire, its wings shimmered in the light as if you looked through the heat of the world, and its eyes glowed with all the fury that rested in its new soul. Nuna name fire Remro. Telling him to go forth and burn the world. When she was done with fire Numa called forth the water of the earth and sky. She cooled it till took form. Each water molecule clinging to the others begging for the cold to be let loose. The slithering creature that had emerged looked as if one stray rock would shatter it to pieces. Its body and wings glowed from the inside, letting its creator's silver runes live on its skin. Its eyes held the dark magic that kept it together. Nuna named it Dessely, sending her to the north and south to make the world turn to ice.
As the lover suns rose the next morning they watched in horror as two new creatures tried to destroy their paradise. They summoned up their own magic giving life to the light they had. Before them was the embodiment of their love for the earth. It had the same slithering body as the creatures that the moon had conjured forth, but the mane that flowed down its neck and the horns that grew from his head gave it a royal feel. Its golden body shown with all the stars that the moon had missed being at her back. Gitla sent the creature to bring light and hope to the animals of the land. The creatures gave this creature the name of Atla for the parents that gave them this hope.
Adon and Gitla came together again to pull forth the spirit of the oceans, lakes, rivers, and all the water that had not been turned to ice. When it took form it had the same body as Atla but was the blues and greens of the oceans. It looked as if the creature had taken the currents and laid them on its skin. Adon gave it the name Kesirth and told it to go save the land from the fires that were consuming it.
With each of the bings that Adon and Gitla conjured Nuna grew angrier and angrier. She brought forth the shadows that had buried themselves in the earth. Before she could give the creature any commands it took off to terrorize the creatures upon the earth that the lover suns had created. As it flew down the dark form took shape. Its skin looked as if sludge was rolling off of it from being buried in the earth for so long. Its purple eyes were a gem that could paralyze even the braves of heroes with fear. Its skeleton was plane on its skin, showing that death would soon grasp you. Emnat was the name that the creatures of the earth called it. It was more of a warning to hide till Atla could return and save them.
Nuna created a plague to sweep across the whole of the earth to try and wipe out the ones that worshiped Adon and Gitla. In doing so she created a serpent-like beast of many colors and many eyes. Its red eyes that ran along its body kept a lookout for tribes of humans to infect with whatever disease she had made. Nuna called it Chenneira.
This hurt Adon and Gitla. How could someone so powerful try to hurt a perfect creation? So they retaliated by bringing forth the earth. They were able to summon two beasts forth. One of the earth and one of nature that grew upon the ground. Eldrinth was the beast of the earth. He held the colors and caused the ground to grow around the tribes giving them a place to hide from Emnat and Chenneira. The beast of nature flew across the ground causing plants to spring forth. She taught the tribes which ones to use to aid in the fight against sickness.
As a last-ditch effort from both sides, they started pulling together what magic they held. As the two sides fought for control of the last of the elements 3 beasts emerged. Two joined into the ongoing battle. A serpent-like beast of light blue and purple raced across the earth causing the wind to pick up. A purple beast whose skin seamed almost mettle chased after the first one calling forth lightning. Together they created a storm that raged across the face of the world. The one who called the wind got the name Greto while his counterpart was named Shide.
High above the chaos that was being caused on the planet watched a horse-like beast with bird wings flapped watching the destruction that was being caused. The white horse creature called down to the beast that were terrorizing the earth. She asked why they did what the suns and moon bid them to do. She watched as they stopped and looked at her. None of them had an answer. She pleaded with them to stop the fighting. When none of them would, she called upon her own power that consisted of both the suns and moon. She sent a shock wave across the earth causing the creatures to be shrunk down and turned into one of the people of the tribes. Their magic and true power locked away to be passed down from generation to generation. When each of the creatures had learned to respect humanity their power would be released to its full potential. Then they could choose how to live their life. As a dragon flying the skies or with the humans that they had tried to destroy. When the shock wave went out it also caused the suns and moons to go into themselves so they could not cause any more trouble. The white horse creature fell to earth tired. It remained in a deep slumber for all times, only to be woken again when the world needed her the most. Humanity praised this beast and the others, gave them a species name called the dragon, and passed on the story through the ages.
