New Supplier.

“The German Shepherd.”

“Good choice.”

Cade picked the puppy up and handed him to me.

“What’re you naming him?”

“I don’t know.”

I started kissing his cute little face and floppy ears.

“Well, did you guys have fun?”

“Yeah. We exchanged social media to stay in contact and stuff.”

“Okay well we have to get stuff for the puppy and thank you guys again.”

I got up and hugged Cade and Angel again before we left. We got in the car and the puppy was dead asleep in my lap as I drove. We got to the pet store and brought him inside with us as we got treats, food, bowls, toys, a cage, leash, collar, harness, a bed, bathing stuff, puppy gates to block off rooms, and puppy breath treats to keep the bad puppy breath in check. We bought everything and went back to the car. When we got there a few guys were walking from their car to the store when they saw us putting the stuff in the trunk and me playing with the puppy.

“Cute dog.”

“Thanks.”

I picked him up and they walked up to me.

“What is his name?”

“I don’t know yet. I haven’t picked one and my boyfriend doesn’t know I got him yet.”

They laughed.

“Do all of you have a boyfriend?”

“Yep. We're also not from here. We're from Kankakee.”

“Were you here to get the puppy?”

“Well it was supposed to be girls day but it turned into they getting spoiled by my sugar family and I get a puppy.”

We all started laughing.

“An actual sugar family or was that a joke?”

“A little bit of both. They were my friends but we kind of just called each other family and they spoil me with whatever I want.”

“Lucky you.”

We all laughed then they left so we got in the car and started driving home. I dropped Mirza off at home then Rose and I went home. We brought everything other than the puppy and the puppy stuff inside real quick and saw his friend were over. She put the clothes in her room then I put everything else in my room.

“So I got a little surprise.”

“Oh boy.”

He stared at me.

“I’m going to go get it. Rose come with.”

We walked outside so she grabbed the bags and I grabbed the puppy.

“Close your eyes.”

He did then we walked back inside. 

“Hold your hands out.”

He slowly did so I put the puppy in his hands. He opened his eyes and a wave of several different emotions came over him.

“Surprise.”

“Sophia, where in the hell did you get this puppy from?”

“A gift from Angel and Cade.”

“That’s why you were asking earlier about which dog I prefer.”

“Yep.”

I took the puppy back and he stared at me while I let the puppy chew on my finger.

“I don’t have a choice do I?”

Rose and I said, “Nope.” at the same time.

“Have you named him yet?”

“No but I was thinking about Axel or Apollo.”

“I like both of those.”

Rose started building the dog cage because she wanted to so I sat on the floor and played with him. Kyree joined me along with his friends until he started getting tired. I put him in his bed with his toys and put them in the cage. Kyree carried the cage and everything to our room because I told him to then I started making dinner. I made chicken alfredo with cut up broccoli. 

“Sophia, call Mirza and a few other friends to come over.”

“Why?”

“I wanna meet them.”

“Okay.”

I texted Mirza, Brandon, and Kyle to come over and they all said okay. I went to the room because the puppy was making a lot of noise so I picked him up and brought him outside. I was letting him potty when I saw Kyle’s car pulling up. He got out and walked up to me.

“You got a puppy?!”

“Yup.”

He picked him up and started petting him. He gave me a hug then we walked back inside.

“Kyree, this is Kyle. he’s been one of my closest friends for a really long time now. Kyle, this is Kyree my boyfriend.”

They shook hands then Mirza pulled up with Brandon. They walked inside then Brandon freaked out over the puppy. 

“Holy smokes a puppy!”

Mirza rolled her eyes and laughed at him. Kyree pulled me onto his lap then We talked for a while before Kyle got a call from someone.

“Hello? Yeah I'm with Brandon, Mirza, Sophia, Kyree, and his friends. They invited us over for dinner and Sophia got a puppy. Mhmm. DON’T!”

The other person hung up and Kyle looked scared.

“Who was that?”

“Jordan. He’s on his way.”

“What? How does he know where we live?”

“He’s tracking me through ‘find my friends’. He already had the address before he called me.”

“Why was he tracking you?”

“I canceled our plans to come over. You mean more to me than he does.” He looked at Kyree. “Strictly as friends. I am not going to stop you from making her happy.”

“Thanks.”

“Well, this isn’t going to end well.”

“Brandon and I will get rid of him.”

“Thank you.”

They took the puppy outside to go potty again while I went to the kitchen and made a plate. I took a bite then Kyree walked in.

“How was work today?”

“It was okay. We had to make a few runs, a few deals, and asked the boss for a raise.”

“What’d he say?”

“Talk to him on friday.”

“That’s not a no.”

“I know but I kind of want to get a house soon.”

“Me too baby. But we also have a lot going on. Let’s wait a little while before having to worry about moving and all of that.”

“Yeah. I just want to make things work.”

“Me too. Let’s just focus on de-stressing our lives a little bit. Did you get Ollie and his mom out of town?”

“Yes. We have a few men taking them to their new lives and staying with them until the whole Serina situation is over.”

“Good, how’s that coming along?”

“Making progress. We have had sightings of her in an area so they are closing in on her. Hopefully we find her soon because I’m over this.”

“Me too.”

We heard commotion outside so we ran outside to see Kyle and Jordan arguing.

“I need to talk to her!”

“She’s done with you! Get that through your head Jordan!”

“NO! I refuse to believe that!”

I sighed, “For the love of f*****g God Jordan leave!”

They turned and looked at me.

“You are worse than your brother!”

I walked up to them.

“Jordan, we are done. You ended things with me.”

“I was angry and scared.”

“I get that but I am over you. I am thriving without you.”

“I gave you everything.”

“No you didn’t. You may think you did but you didn’t because you wouldn’t have said that and you wouldn’t have broken up with me. If you did I would have told you sooner but I didn’t.”

“Please, don’t do this to me.”

“When I caught you in bed with another girl, that’s when I realized that I was better without you. Goodbye Jordan.”

I pushed him away then went back to Kyree, who was now holding the puppy.

“How did you get the puppy?”

“Mirza handed him to me. He’s growing on me.”

I chuckled then kissed him. We all walked back inside and went to the kitchen to eat. The puppy was curled up in Kyree's lap and it was really cute so I took a few pictures. I went to the room and grabbed the puppy food, bowls, and puppy gates so I could feed the puppy and block the rooms off. I put his food in his bowl then had Kyree put him on the floor. He waddled over to me and started eating then I put the gates up.

I finished putting them up to see Kyree and his friend about to fake fight. They each swung at each other so I walked past and started cleaning up after dinner. They stopped then Kyree wrapped his arms around my waist and held me while I cleaned up. He kissed my neck which sent chills down my spine.

Mirza decided to just crash at the house because she didn’t want to wake her mom up and everyone else left. I gave her some blankets and pillows then sent her to the living room. Kyree and I went to our room and changed then I went into the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I brought the puppy outside one last time before we all went to bed and as soon as I put him in his cage he went to sleep. I laid down then Kyree's hot bodied self got in and wrapped his arms around me. 

I rolled over so I was facing him and I kissed him.

“Move over.”

He was confused but he did and I moved to the middle of the bed and pulled him on top of me so I could hold him. He rested his head on my boobs then chuckled.

“What?”

“Titties.”

I started laughing.

“I can’t even.”

“It’s funny though.”

“Completely random.”

“I know.”

He slid down a little bit and rested his head on my stomach and started kissing me.

“I can’t wait to lay here and kiss your stomach while you’re carrying my kid.”

I started blushing, thank God it was dark so he couldn’t see.

“That was really cute baby.”

“It’s the truth.”

He kissed my stomach one last time before he put his head down and fell asleep. I shortly fell asleep after him and woke up to the puppy freaking out.

“I got it.”

Kyree got up and grabbed the puppy. He brought him outside to go potty then they came back in after a little while they came back in and he put him back in his cage. I rolled over so he pulled me closer to his chest and we fell back asleep. I forgot how much work puppies were but he’s still adorable. This happened once more before it was time to get ready. 

I woke Mirza up and told her that she can grab an outfit of mine since we fit pretty much the same size. I put on a pair of shorts, a baby pink crop top, fishnets, and my e-girl boots. I went to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee for Kyree then went to our room. I set it on the nightstand next to him then I got on his lap. I woke him up then he smiled.

“Good morning mamas.”

“Good morning. I made you a cup of coffee.”

“I can smell it. Thank you.”

He rested his hands on my hips and ran them over my butt, hips, and chest. 

“You look extra good today.”

“Only for you.”

He smiled at me.

“Do you want to take the car or bike today?”

“Do you have any meetings today?”

“Yeah. And then a few jobs.”

“Okay, take my car today because I don’t have to work. I’m going to try to train the puppy a little bit.”

“Okay.”

I kissed him again and then got up. I walked to the bathroom and did my makeup and hair. I brushed my teeth then grabbed my bag, the keys, and phone then walked outside. I was leaning on the side of the car waiting for Mirza when the neighbor walked outside.

“Hey.”

“Hey.”

“Are you waiting for Kyree?”

“Nope, my best friend spent the night. Waiting for her to hurry up so we can go to school.”

“Ahh, well have a good day.”

“You too.”

He got in his car and drove off then a minute later Mirza came running outside.

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s cool. Let’s go.”

I walked around the car and got in. We went to school and talked about tattoos.

“Actually I know a few tattoo artists that would give us some tattoos.”

“Seriously?”

“Yeah. I want a Lion on my leg, angel wings on my back, the seven phases of the moon on my forearm, and “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. Ephesians 1:18” across my stomach right under my boobs.”

“Why that one?”

“Those three numbers have been with me my whole life. I don’t know why but it has so I looked it up and it was a bible verse.”

“Huhh, well why don’t we go get one of those sometime soon.”

“I want to save some money to get a house.”

“But aren’t you already living at a house?”

“Yeah but we want to move somewhere bigger.”

“Okay.”

“I was thinking about getting a house in Chicago before his birthday for a surprise.”

“That sounds like a great idea.”

“Yeah.”

I pulled into the school parking lot and I saw Jordan standing there with his arm wrapped around a girl's shoulder. 

“Who’s that?”

“No clue.”

We walked up to the group to get Kyle and Brandon.

“Hey guys.”

Brandon wrapped his arms around Mirza and kissed her. Kyle rested his arm on my shoulder.

She looked at me and attempted to whisper to Jordan, “Is that the girl you were talking about?”

“If you think she’s going to make me jealous, it’s not going to work.”

“Maybe he was tired of the basic b***h attitude.”

“Yeah and wanted to try out the sluttiest b***h attitude. Call me a b***h again and I’ll make you swallow your teeth.”

She stepped up at me and I fakely put my hands.

“Ahh, so scared.”

Mirza chuckled along with Brandon and Kyle. She got mad.

“All I have to say is, try topping my s*x and head game cause sweetheart, I bet he thinks about me still.”

“How fast can you make him c*m?”

“How fast can you?”

“Ten minutes.”

My eyes got wide then I started dying laughing.

“Honey, I can do it in three. Probably less but I’m with a real man now who can definitely please me better than his ass. Also, you are just the rebound.”

“How come we’ve been talking since he dumped you?”

“Honey, he's been begging me everyday to get back with him. He literally showed up to my house yesterday begging my infront of my friends, my boyfriend, and all of his friends. Don’t come for me.”

I went to walk away but I felt her grab my wrist so I turned around and slapped her as hard as I possibly could and she stumbled backwards. 

“Don’t touch me.” I looked at Jordan. “A serious downgrade.”

Kyle, Brandon, Mirza, and I walked away and they started dying laughing.

“I should have recorded that whole thing.”

“That was so funny.”

“That was amazing Sophia.”

I smiled at each of them then I got a phone call from Kyree.

“Hey, what’s up?”

“The puppy keeps screaming.”

“Okay?”

“I don’t know what to do. I’ve never had a dog before.”

“Have you fed him yet?”

Silence.

“You are amazing. I love you.”

I started laughing.

“I love you too.”

He hung up and I started dying laughing.

“Oh that’s the highlight of my day.”

“What happened?”

“The dog was hungry so he was screaming and Kyree didn’t know what to do so he called me and apparently he didn’t feed the dog yet so he was hungry.”

They all started laughing with me. 

“Mirza, do you have stuff? I haven’t smoked in a while.”

“Yeah, why don’t we go out to your car.”

“Bet.”

The four of us sprinted outside back to my car and started smoking. I took a long hit of her vape and slowly let it out while I closed my eyes. I smiled then I opened my eyes to see Miza smiling at me.

“She’s back.”

“I never left, I just upgraded.”

“Well I like this one.”

“Me too.”

We got high then I noticed that we had five minutes before class.

“Let’s head inside.”

“Okay.”

I took one last hit before handing it back to Mirza and we got out. We were walking inside when I saw Jordan’s new girl walking towards us.

“I’m too high to deal with this.”

We started laughing and just stood there.

“What do you want?”

“You’re right, he’s not over you.”

“Thanks for pointing out the obvious.”

“How do you do it?”

“Do what?”

“Pretend like you don’t miss him.”

“It’s not pretending, I really don’t.”

“Why not?”

“Because I’m happier now and I’m thriving without him. He was holding me back from what I could have been achieving and he was making me soft. After it was over, I found a new part of me that I like more.”

“What about him?”

“I don’t care. He’s not my problem anymore, he’s yours.”

I walked away and went inside. Mirza and I went to class and got to work. I ignored everyone for the rest of the day until it was time for seventh hour. I took my seat in the back of the classroom and he said that they were finishing the debates today and whoever finished theirs can pay attention or work on other work so I got on my phone. 

I saw that Kyree posted a picture of me playing with the puppy so I liked it and commented, “Awe I forgot he still doesn’t have a name.” Then I went to my calendar to see that I have six meetings that I have to go to after I change. I listened to music and just chilled until it was time to leave.

“Sophia, can you come here please?”

“Yeah.”

I walked up to my teacher.

“What’s up?”

“I noticed that you haven’t been sitting in your normal seat. You’ve sat there for three years and now you are in the corner across the room. Did something happen?”

“Jordan and I broke up because he doesn’t support me anymore. So I’m sitting somewhere else.”

“Alright. I’m sorry.”

“It’s alright. Have a great rest of your day.”

“You too.”

I ran to the car and went home. I changed into a white blouse, a black pencil skirt, my gun holster with my gun in it, my blaser, and black heels then put my matte red lipstick on. I walked back out to the car in time to see Kyree walking up with his friends.

“Hey-”

I kissed him.

“I’m running late. How do I look?”

“Sexy.”

“Thank you, you’re making dinner tonight.”

“That’s fine.”

I ran to the car and went to the bar. I walked inside to see my boss standing there with a few other men.

“Ahh, there’s my right hand.”

“I’m so sorry. My classes ran late.”

“It’s alright, you’re on time.”

“Well I live by on time is late and early is on time.”

They all chuckled.

“She seems great, you made the right choice.” he turned to me. “Dominic Rameriz.”

“Sophia Jones.”

I shook his hand then I turned to my boss.

“Let’s all get a drink first.”

We walked up to the bar and Dominic ordered Hennessy and Elijah ordered bourbon.

“What about you Sophia?”

“Whiskey, neat.”

They looked at each other and when I got my drink I took a sip. 

“Now, let’s talk business.” I stood in front of Dominic. “Your products are ninety percent pure. With that purity, it’s not cheap. But I can get you more deals with men and women that are willing to pay almost any price for the good stuff. Not only will you get fifty percent of the money, you will also get to have a partnership with us. After six months if you are not happy with our deals or don’t want us to sell for you, you can pull out of our deal. But if you wish to continue to work with us we will take forty percent of all of the profits.”

He c****d his eyebrow.

“Well, you are good at this.”

“I did quite a bit of accounting so I know how to manage money and do sales.”

“You are a very smart young woman.”

“Thank you but you are getting sidetracked. Our clients only want the purest cocaine and you can provide us with that. Just sign your name on the contract after you read the fine lines, and we can start the production as soon as we get the coke.”

I handed him the contract and he started reading it. He smiled at me then I handed him a pen. He signed the papers.

“Congratulations Sophia, you have a new supplier.”

We shook hands then he shook Elijah’s hand.

“You will have the coke tomorrow at four in the afternoon.”

“Pleasure doing business with you.”

"The pleasure is all mine.”

They left and I took a seat. I let out a huge breath and took a drink.

“I am so happy I picked you.”

“Me too. So Kyree told me asked you for a raise?”

“He did.”

“What’re you going to tell him?”

“Well why does he want one so badly?”

“We want to buy a new house. So I can have an office, a yard for our dog, and somewhere where we can start a family because we want one.”

“Well I can’t stop you from being happy. How about this, if he does an important job for me, I will give him a bonus and a raise.”

“Thank you.”

“Always, family looks out for family. Now, we have another meeting in fifteen minutes.”

“What’s this one for?”

“An alliance.”

“Okay. Do you want me to take charge?”

“Yes and no. I am going to lead this one and you bring the statistics and everything else into it to seal the deal.”

“Okay.”

We sat there chatting for a little while when I saw someone walk in.
