Adele and I had to wait only an hour or so, before we boarded our bus in Jacksonville, FL. We would be traveling from Jacksonville to Little Rock, AR for a two hour layover, before we board yet another bus from Little Rock to Cheyenne, Wyoming. Then from Cheyenne, Adele and I would be traveling on foot to the beautiful mountains of the Rockies. Roman had told me that he would send out a small team to escort us back to him, we would be meeting this said team on a Native American reservation by the name of Wind River. Adele and I had discussed that it would take us a while to travel to Wind River, but its our only choice. We had settled into our seats and got as comfortable as possible, but bus seats aren't really all that comfortable. Adele whispered low "once we get into Cheyenne, we can get a cheap room at a hotel to catch up on sleep, before we make our long journey. If we need to we can also ask for a few rides to get us closer to Wind River, so we don't have to walk as far. I cant wait to see the Indian Reservation." I turned to face my sister and said "we can rent out hotel rooms for when we get tired enough. As far as traveling on foot, we will travel as much as we can in human form, and then if possible or in case of an emergency we will travel by wolf form. I don't want to risk being seen as wolves. I would like to think that the Reservation would be the safest place for us, but we both know that nowhere is safe anymore. We stick together, keep on full alert, and keep moving. We'll be with Ro and the others soon." Adele had simply nodded at my statement, and agreed that the two of us stick together. I placed my neck pillow around my neck and leaned back into my seat and closed my eyes for a while, Adele crossed her left leg over her right and opened up a book and began reading where she left off.
It was mere hours later that I had woken up to a stiff back and a slightly sore neck. Adele was watching some type of movie on our portable DVD player, that we had decided on bringing with us. I removed my neck pillow, and stretched like a feline cat and yawned. I lightly tapped my sisters arm and I mind linked her that I had to use the restroom. She simply nodded and paused her movie and let me out. The sun was still in the sky, though I had no clue as to what time it was. Most likely in the middle of the day. After I had used the restroom and washed my hands, I stretched a bit more and popped my bones. As I walked back towards my seat and sister, I was thinking about how we were going to make it through this journey without anymore complication, but knowing the Hunters' there will always will complications with them around. I took my seat once more and after I got somewhat comfortable, I retrieved my own book from my bag and opened it to where I had last left off, before we left for the station this morning. I read through two more books and Adele continued to watch more movies, enjoying what little peace and quiet we had salvaged from our ride. I had just placed my last book into my bag, when we heard the intercom go off "we will be pulling into the Alabama State I-59 N rest area in just a few more minutes, so that everyone can get the chance to stretch and use the facilities, before we finish our journey to Little Rock." Adele sighed beside me and whispered "good. I need to stretch out for a while, what about you Z?" I couldn't agree more with her and replied "I think everyone needs the space right now. We've already been riding in this machine for what 7 hours and 35 mins? I could really use the time we have to get my legs working again." Adele giggled and rolled her eyes, before zipping her back up and placing it upon my own. No sooner than she placed her legs into my lap, were we pulling into the rest area. I'm sure the driver had to stretch out and use the restroom as well.
Adele and I were finally able to get a breath of some fresh air and walk around for a little bit, before we were ushered back onto that horrid bus. After we used the restroom and had checked out some of the vending machines, we got a few snacks and drinks, before walking around the area. It gave us some time to ourselves for a little bit. The driver had told us we would board the bus in 30 mins, which should give everyone time. I stood with my back against a tree and said "We get off in Cheyenne, get a room for the night or whatever, then we can take a cab to Woods Landing Resort. There's a National Forest by the name of Medicine Bow that will give us the privacy and freedom for a while and from there we can travel to Wind River. Probably safer if we take another cab, just to save us some time. What do you think? I know it's different from what I had originally said." Adele was silent for a few, most likely thinking over what I had said, she then spoke up "I like this idea better, simply because of the National Forest and it's a safer choice. It's best to go with the safer option." The two of us headed back after we did some simple exercising stretches. Everyone was a bit more relaxed, but wasn't happy about being cramped on the bus for a handful of hours more. 30 minutes later, the bus rolled out of it's parking spot and rolled straight back onto the interstate. Adele and I had switched places, allowing her to take the window seat and myself taking the isle seat. It gave her the chance to look at the scenery, but more importantly the sky. I willed myself to relax and get comfortable, and took out my iPod and headphones, before placing the buds into my ears and turning the iPod on and closing my eyes once more. By t his time the sun has slowly begun his descend from the heaven above. Within a handful more, we would be arriving in Little Rock, most likely Adele and I would be sleeping by then.
