  Clair   “He can’t mark us like this!” I heard Hope grumbling in my mind.  I was glad that my wolf wasn’t a docile damsel, not even when facing tingles and temptation for the first time.  “No Max. You can’t do it!” I said, as I pressed my hands against Hunter’s firm chest and tried to push him away. It didn’t work at all, and Max didn’t let me go.  “Hope, Clair…” he growled, he sounded intoxicated. “Max, please, give me back Hunter. Please…” I tried again. I could feel a low growl vibrating in his chest, but after a few seconds, I felt the grip around me loosening.  “I am sorry, Clair,” Hunter said, as he put a bit of distance between us. “Max is on edge; he is mad about seeing Hope and being with both of you,” he added.  “So, that is why you are here? Because Max wants Hope?” I
