The next morning, I went to work despite being quite tired. I knew I had patients to take care of, especially now that Sara was away in the Wizard’s Realm. Besides, I could definitely use the distraction.
As soon as I started my shift early in the morning, the Royal Beta came to the clinic with his pup, Joanna, in his arms. Joanna looked a bit tired and irritated; she was coughing a lot.
