Everest!/A Good Hunt and New Friends/Who Will You Fight For?

Madelyn's POV

I was first to wake up and decided I would go scope out the rest of the mountain we had to climb.As I got up a branch snapped off a tree due to how much snow was on it and Dakota and Kelpie woke up quickly."Since you both are up now let's pack up and continue to Everest's pack." "That was a rude awakening." I rolled my eyes at Kelpie and started to pack up.After packing I was quick to continue climbing towards Everest's pack.

Kelpie's POV

Madelyn was quick to start climbing again she was eager to finish this whole adventure and I was as well.I just couldn't wait to get down off this mountain.While climbing we heard a sharp growl.I was very worried so I raced ahead Dakota and Madelyn only to find an Everest."Hey Madelyn I found Everest." Her eyes seemed to light up immediately when I said that and she sprung forward and hugged him."Everest!" "Hey Madelyn what are you doing up the mountain?" "I missed you and the mountain so we came up to see you and spend time here!" "That's great news cmon let's go back to the pack my new trial human Lena needs some friends and your the perfect fit."

Dakota's POV

All while walking they were yapping away and Kelpie was in most of their conversations.I just lingered behind because I didn't know what to do in that situation and being so close to that mostly male pack had my nerves on edge.While going towards the pack we saw a whole bunch of elk.They were much bigger thank the elk that were at the valleys and plains.These elk also seemed to keep a lot of bull elk around.When we reached the pack we got a little visitor hut to stay in.We unpacked and decided to go out for a bit.

A Good Hunt And New Friends

Madelyn's POV

When we got unpacked I totally just wanted to go explore and everything else. But Kelpie and Dakota were tired so I was forced to sleep. By that I mean Dakota told me if I wasn't going to sleep he would hold me down until I fell asleep and I wasn't about to test him. I fell asleep and and woke up at like 4:00 A.M and since Dakota and Kelpie were still in bed I decided to see if anyone was up so I went out and Everest and his new trial human were sitting by a cliff so I decided to go join and  them. "Hey Everest I can't sleep. May I join you guys?" "Yea. Madelyn this is Ava my new trial human who is lonely and a bit of a loser." Everest I'm not a loser! But I do need friends because I am lonely." "It's ok to be lonely and yea I'm sure we'll be good friends." I just sat down with them looking into the horizon laughing with them.

Dakota's POV

When I woke up Madelyn wasn't in the room so I thought she went to the bathroom. I waited like 30 minutes but then I heard her laughing outside with a voice I didn't recognize. 'Dakota do you think I'm more masculine than that stupid Everest wolf?' 'Why? Is Jinx's masculinity being threatened? Oh boo hoo.' 'No my masculinity is not but he's just muscly and stuff but I'm sure I could take him.' 'you keep thinking that Jinx.' I went outside to find Madelyn, Everest and some girl laughing and watching the sunrise. "Mads how long have you been out here and who is this?" "Hi I'm Ava Sanders!" "I haven't been out here for long maybe about an hour, two?" "Well now I'm up so I'm going to join you guys." I was still tired to tell the truth but I tried to hold my head up and not sleep.

Kelpie's POV

It was about 7 when I woke up and went outside. Dakota had fallen asleep on Madelyn's shoulder and Madelyn fell asleep sitting up. The weird girl next to them was also passed out on Madelyn. But Everest heard me approach. "Oh hi... I never got your name." "Oh yea sorry names Kelpie." "Well its good to meet you .Are you hungry we can go hunting together?" "That'd be nice." "Alright shewolf lets see how well you hunt." "Oh your on mountain goat." We left the sleeping people to go get an elk. When we came upon the herd a dumb yearling was out on the side so we decided to target her. But overall I would say I did the best. "Kelpie you really know how to hunt!" "Thanks mountain wolf you could learn a thing or two." "that I could."

Who Will You Fight For?

Madelyn's POV

When I woke up Everest was gone and when I checked the hut Kelpie wasn't there so I assumed they went to do their own things for a bit and I didn't question it. A while later they came back dragging chunks of elk. They said they already ate and that we could cook these chunks to eat. So that's exactly what I did. After cooking both chunks I woke up Ava and Dakota so they could eat.  After eating Everest took us on a wild chase basically just making us run and climb until we were so sore and could barely walk. I quite enjoyed it though. But Ava complained the whole time and made Dakota so annoyed to were he just decided to run ahead of everybody and make it back to Everest's pack before anyone. When we got back all of his pack members were in a sort of rally type thing. He joined in to listen when he saw them all together. It was about how the pack was going to basically start war or a big fight with Allusion's pack and every pack was getting involved picking who they would fight for. Rouges stayed clear of this though. So Kelpie, Dakota and I also decided to stay neutral that is until Everest came up to us and asked if we would fight for his pack.

Kelpie's POV

I could Tell Madelyn didn't want to fight for his pack or Allusions because she loved them both equally. She said maybe but I knew she couldn't decided and would try her best not to pick. After that rally we all decided to go hunting with Everest's pack. They were storing as much food as possible for when the fight broke out. I also got to hunt with them and all the shewolves in his pack were so beautiful and had really great speed. I knew I could never compare to them but I think Madelyn knew because she told me not to doubt myself. That made me feel a bit better about myself though. When we got to the elk grounds we out in groups and told to just get as many elk as we could. I was put in a group with two males and a female. Our hunting group got two old weak cow elk. After that we got to try and carry or drag as much meat as possible. Madelyn helped me out and Dakota let Jinx take control to help me as well.
