Ch 16

Milo runs into the office of Alpha Mark and Luna Rose and declares that there has been a breach at Black Moon. Fury has raged in Jaces eyes, "We need to shift, our wolves will be faster." "My men and I will accompany you." Mark says. Jace turns and nods, "I do appreciate that, thank you my friend." He then turns to Analee, "I need you and you parents to stay here." Ana shakes her head, "No, I won't leave you. I can fight." she grabs his arms in desperation. "No, you cannot. Your heart just stopped for 3 mins, you need to rest and you need to go see Reille." Jace squeezes her hand back. "But what if my uncle is behind this?" she replies. "Then you are safer here because he doesnt know you are here." Ella comes to Ana's side and places her hand on her shoulder, "Dear, hes right. You need to rest and stay hidden from him." Ana turns from Ella back to Jace, "I cannot allow you to fight him alone." tears run down her face. Jace raises his finger and wipes her tears, "You are my Luna, my mate, my love, my life. I promised you I would protect you and I meant it. I will go home and find out what happened. And I will come back for you." He kisses her and turns to Milo, "Did you link Wren and Ayden?" "Yes, they are on their way now." A few moments pass and the boys come into the office with the mates by their sides. "I have over a dozen of my top warriors waiting outside. They've already shifted and we are ready to go when you are." Alpha Mark says to Jace. Jace just nods and everyone heads outside. Wren, Ayden and Milo shift into their Wolves. Wrens wolf is dark grey, Ayden has a lighter gray wolf with a tint of red on his back. Milo's wolf is a dark brown. They all stand tall and wait for their Alpha to shift. Jace then shifts into Link. He strides to the front of the pack, followed behind by Wren and Ayden. He turns to them and give a subtle nod. Time to go kick some Wolf butt boys. We have mates to protect. Link growls and howls and them takes off running in the woods. Followed closely by the rest of the wolves. Howling as their paws thunderous echo through the woods. In no time at all, they arrive back at Black Moon. A battlefield is before them as they barge straight into the fight. Wolves are thrown everywhere. Blood is splattered and growls echo around. Link heads straight to the center to find a gray wolf, almost as big as he is. A smirk plays on the face of the gray wolf. That must be Donovan. Jace says to Link. A strong growl comes from Link. Then I will tear him to pieces for what hes done to our mate. Link makes a beeline straight for him. He slams into the gray wolf and sends him flying. The gray wolf slams into a tree. He stirs after a few seconds and slowly gets back to his feet. He shifts from his wolf. With a smirk, Donovan speaks to Link, "Where is my mate boy?" Link growls and shifts into Jace. The others wolves have stopped and surrounded the Alphas. "You will never see MY mate again, Donovan." Jace says finally. "Do you have any idea what she needs? Donovan smirks back. "How her body responded to me every time I touched her. Every time I licked her precious body Every time my lips touched her skin. She shivered with delight" Donovan laughed out loud. Jace growled and launched towards Donovan, shifting in mid air. He slammed Donovan down to the ground and held his paw to his throat. Gasping for air, Donovan tried to claw the gigantic black paw that held him down. "Its no use Donovan. I am stronger than you because of my mate. We are now one and you will never again draw breath. I will kill you right here" Jace said as he snapped Donovans neck. His life left him instantly. A moment later, howls were heard through the battlefield of the Ashwood wolves. They retreated, seeing their Alpha lying lifeless under the Black Moon Alpha. It was over. The battle had been won. All wolves shifted back to their humans and began to help the wounded and move the dead. Ayden walked over to Jace and placed a hand on his shoulder. Jace turned to him, "I saved her. Shes finally free." Ayden nodded, "Yes brother, you did." "Now we need to find a way to save her life." With determination in his eyes, Jace shifted back into Link. I'm heading back to Red Stone with Alpha Mark and his wolves. I'll tell the girls and bring them home once we find more answers about our Luna. The Black Moon men nodded and continued to clear the battlefield. "We will keep everyone safe until you return Alpha". Wren said as Link and the Red Stone wolves headed back into the woods.
