Ch. 14

It is early the next morning. Ana and Jace are in his office gathering all the information they have collected on the Red Wolf and Wind elemental powers. The witch, know as Reille, lives in a small town just outside the Red Stone pack. She is powerful witch and hopefully can teach Analee more about her powers. They plan to go see her after meeting with Alpha Mark and Luna Rose. "Are you ready to go love?" Jace asks looking up at Analee. "Just about." She replies. She goes to stand up but is hit with a dizzy spell and falls back on the couch. Jace rushes to her side, "Are you alright?" a look of concern flashes across his face. Ana grabs his arm to steady herself, after a moment she looks at him and smiles, "I'm alright." Still concerned, Jace checks her. "I don't think you should be going with me, you need to rest." She stares at him for a moment, "I'm not staying behind Jace. I need to go and find out who I am." "But you are in no condition to go" Jace protests. Ana places one hand on his arm, the other rests on his cheek. He looks up into her eyes, "I will be alright. As long as I am with you." she smiles and leans in to kiss him. He gladly kisses her back. After a moment they pull away. "If you insist on going, then I want to go see you father again to see if he's found out anything." Jace states. A gentle knock on the door turns their attention. "Good morning daddy, we were just aboutto come see you." Ana smiles and stands to hug her father. He kisses her head and returns her embrace. "Good morning sweetheart." He turns to Jace and nods. "I came in to talk to you both before you left." They all take a seat and Doc Eli continues. "I reached out to a few of my contacts and did as much research as I could. Unfortunately, I did not find much. I was able to mix together a drink that might help you. But I'm not sure if it will work or for how long, so I want to come with you." "What about mom? and the Pack hospital?" Ana asks. "Mom wants to come too and I am not the only doctor and there are plenty of nurses. I need to be with you. You are more important than anyone else." Doc Eli states looking straight at Ana. After a few moments, Jace speaks. "You are both welcome to come. Ayden requested to come the other day too. The more we have to protect her, the better." "We need to leave in 10 mins, so go get ready." Doc Eli nods and heads out. 10 minutes later, Jace, Analee, Wren, Milo, Ayden, Doc Eli, and Ella are standing in the parking garage. "We'll take 2 SUVs, Milo and I will drive. Ana, Wren and Ayden with me. Doc Eli and Ella with Milo. It's a 5 hour ride so we need to get moving." Everyone gets into their cars and they head towards the gate. Finn opens it and gives them all a nod. Analee smiles and waves back. The time seems to fly by and soon they approach the Red Stone border. They stop at the gate and Jace speaks with the guard. He nods and waves them through. They drive up a straight path to a beautiful manor. There is a driveway that is filled with flowers along the path. Analee admires their beauty. Soon they come to a stop and see 2 people standing at the doorway of the manor. They look to be just a bit older than Jace and Analee. The man stands at 6ft. 3in. He has blonde hair that goes to his shoulders. The woman standing next to him is much shorter. Only 5ft. 5in, her hair is black and goes down to her mid back. Everyone steps out of the car as the couple comes to greet them. "Welcome to Red Stone Alpha Jace, I am Alpha Mark and this is my mate and Luna, Rose." He speaks with a deep voice. Jace extends his hand which Alpha Mark accepts. "Thank you so much for taking the time to meet with us. This is my mate and future Luna, Analee." He says while holding his hand to her. She steps forward and takes it while greeting the Alpha and Luna. They take a moment to introduce everyone else before Alpha Mark gestures for everyone to follow them inside. They all head toward his office. Once inside, they all take a seat around a long table. "You said on the phone that you have information on the Red Wolf." Jace is the first to speak. Turning to Jace, Alpha Mark nods. "Yes. We have everything there is to know about a Red Wolf." "Why do you need to know?" Luna Rose questions. Jace looks at Ana and takes her hand, she looks up at Luna Rose and says "Because I am the Red Wolf."
