After the doctors checked on Xeraphina and Xavier, Lilian decided she needed to run some test to see what was going on with the twins, we proceeded to let them rest as we discussed what was happening in Di’s office. They were running through ideas, as my heart twisted painfully. I couldn’t focus on any of their words. I stopped pacing around the office and took a seat next to my mate, barely being able to withstand this agony.
Something snapped, like a hold I never knew was over me. I felt my counterparts connected to me in a way I haven’t felt in years. Our bond strengthens, the way it always used to be.
