Leo- “Yo Leo” yelled my teammate and best friend Tyler from across the weight room. “What’s up Ty? Here to finally get your ass in shape for the season?” “ Nah, I am always ready. I came to find you. Did you hear about the new coach we are getting?” “Nope, I hope it's not to big of a change though. We have a killer program going. I was sad to hear about coach Miller, he built an awesome program here. But family comes first.” “Yeah, Mrs. M getting breast cancer.. Ty said shaking his head, it’s true that the worst things happen to the best people. Yeah man, anyways who is the new coach?” “Dude, your not gonna believe this but they got Lars Wolfson to come out of hiding. He’s the new head coach!” Ty pumped his fists like a boxer shadow boxing. “What?! That’s amazing!!” I exclaimed “Yeah, it should be a pretty epic year!” “Yeah it will, can’t wait for September.” I stated. " Have you even left the library or gym this summer? I feel like I haven't seen you at all Benji" Ty said. I walked over to the bench laying down getting ready to to my next set of bench presses. " Ty you know I was taking summer classes to help with the work load during the regular year. You should have done the same buddy" "Yeah, yeah" Ty said with a roll of his eyes. " Do you want to jump in on this next set? " I asked "Yeah, just let me throw on some music since you work out in silence like a weirdo." " Whatever" Little did I know my life was about to change forever.
