She asks chattering her teeth, she was stone cold. I lift her up and hunter follows me
“No you can’t be serious, after this she shouldn’t be alone with a boy”
Derek snaps, I growl and hunter steps in front of us
“We are her FATED MATES! WE are not just Any BOY and we will make sure she stays where she said she was, SHE IS STAYING HERE!”
Adlai gets up and stands between them
“Go, bring her to bed and get her warmed up. Derek leave them, they would die before a soul touched her and you know that”
“How do you know they are fated”
He asks staring at her
“I felt the bond when we healed her, they are fated, the marks will appear soon and they won’t hurt a hair on her head”
Derek sighs, closing his eyes and nodding his head, I turn and carry her down the stairs, hunter runs in front of us opening the door.
“Shower”
I suggest, she nods her head so he turns it on. I place her on the side of the sink and she cries out in pain. I lift her up immediately
“What, where is it sore?”
She sobs into my shoulder as hunter growls
“They must have hurt her down there”
She cried harder, my anger was just getting worse. I wanted to kill them so f*****g bad.
“Im setting you down for just a minute to undress you ok?”
She nods bracing herself so I undress her as fast as possible, I don’t even look near her bits, I just needed to get their scent of her.
I pull off her trousers and she jumps a few times but overall she did so good considering the fear she felt, but I nearly faint when I see all the blood, it stains her entire thighs. She looks to the roof as I look to Hunter. He stands there frozen on the spot, tears silently fall down his cheek.
Never in my life could I ever imagine doing this to anyone, they broke her, they broke our Ali.
I strip of myself and lift her into my arms and I step under the stream of water and I take a seat on the floor and I grab some wash but as I touch her body with the sponge she jumps into me freaking out.
“Shush it’s ok, I’ll use my hands ok?”
She nods, keeping her head in my neck so I wash her down, when I imagined being with her it was long into the future, and I suspect that the next time it will be long into the future.
I won’t ever overstep with her, I never would but someone had to wash her and right now I was 1 of the 2 that she trusted completely so if this is what she needs that’s what I’ll be for her.
As I scrub her skin I move her so I can get the other side, she slides into my lap and buries her face in the crook of my neck. I continue to wash her carefully but then I feel teeth run across my shoulder.
A better person would have stopped her, but I wasn’t a better person. I wanted her to be connected to us forever, I wanted her mark on my shoulder and I wanted my mark on her shoulder, no one would dare touch her when mine and hunters scent was permanently a part of her.
I brace myself, holding her against my body as she pierces my skin with her teeth, they slide right through my flesh and muscle, stopping at the bone. I grab hold of her tighter as my eyes roll in my head. She holds on for a second as hunter comes rushing through the bathroom door
“What are you doing?”
He asks alarmed, I watch him as she pulls her teeth out and she seals the mark with her tongue.
“Mark me”
She whispers moving her head to the side
“I know a lot has happened but we should really talk to your parents first”
She shakes her head
“No more talking, come here now”
She commands, he comes to the side of the shower and takes a seat, she grabs his shoulders and she pulls him closer then she just does it, he gasps nearly having a heart attack, she moves that fast I didn’t even realise she was going to do it. She pulls her teeth out of his mark and seals it with her tongue. She pulls her hair back and out of the way
“Both of you mark me now”
Hunter looks at me worried
“I’m doing it either way, I don’t care what they say. None of this would have happened if I would have just manned up and marked you both when my wolf wanted me too”
I look into her eyes and she nods, there was very little emotion in her gaze so I kiss her neck first and then I suck on it, she jumps slightly but it’s a shiver running down her spine this time and not from fear. I feel hunter move closer
“This should have been a whole lot more romantic but to hell with it”
I could feel them both now, deep inside my soul, I could feel the peace that she felt now that she was complete. She felt complete being connected to us. That was enough to shred any last minute regrets and I sink my teeth into her neck, she gasps as Hunter marks her at the same time as me.
Our bond clicks into place and peace passes over all of us, my body immediately starts to relax as her magic pushes forward and it touches both of ours while mine and hunters touch too.
Our powers becoming one, our love intensifies, her heart beats to the same tune at the same time and in the same way. I pull my teeth from her neck and I seal the mark. Hunter does the same so I lift her body up and she wraps herself around me, hunter wraps towels around us both as I place her on the bed.
Hunter takes over and helps her to dry herself as I quickly get dressed. He helps her into a pair of his boxers and one of my shirts.
“You are starving”
Hunter groans rubbing his stomach
“When’s the last time you ate?”
He asks her, she looks away guiltily
“Honestly I’m not sure, I had a banana earlier but it came straight back up”
“Well I’m getting you food”
He kisses her cheek and jumps out of bed, she crawls up the bed and gets under the covers.
“I’m so sorry for breaking your wrist, I was just so hurt and confused and honestly delusional”
I feel her guilt hit me, I climb up the bed and get in beside her and I pull her onto my chest kissing her cheek
“I deserved it, don’t feel guilty. what’s that? our first fight in 14 years? It only took hunter 4 to break my nose and me 5 years to break his back”
She giggles bringing a smile to my face, brightening the mood and killing some of the dark shadows that seem to be following us around.
“I remember that, but I still wish I didn’t do it, you just pissed me off and then you distracted me and I broke my present that I’m making for hunters birthday, I cried for like 2 hours after you left”
My stomach drops so I kiss her cheek and nose and head and neck, I nibble on her neck as Dane starts to purr
“No more tears now Your with us”
He kisses her throat again and continues to purr, she slowly starts to relax but as her eyes close she gasps waking up and she starts to tremble.
“No, no no no noo”
She cries crawling onto my knee, I hold her shocked at her reaction she had completely relaxed one second and the next this?
“Whats wrong?”
“Just seen it—“
She gasps for air trying to breathe slower
“I seen it in my brain”
“A flashback?”
Hunter asks as he walks into the room kicking the door closed. He carries the plate and juice over to her
