Dane steps right up to jaxon, growling in his face as he stares him down.

I didn’t give a flying f**k if they were underage, they were going to die for this.

“f**k that I’ll take the blame they don’t rape my Luna and get away with it!”

Hunter tells him, pushing past dad, Gerald stops him as the boys gasp looking between each other. Clearly they were as stupid as they looked, not realising that Ali wasn’t just the coven leader but she was also Luna too.

I step closer, I still had a chunk of emmets throat in my mouth and I guarantee I looked scary as f**k, my head was the same height as them, I was huge for my age but I had a long time to grow and I’m still growing everyday.

When Gerald’s distracted holding back hunter I grab one by the leg, he screams as I yank him forward breaking his leg with my teeth, I do it fast so they hadn’t time to stop me, then I break his other leg too, he screams bloody murder as I take a large chunk out of him.

I’d never felt rage like this in my life, they would die for this, they would die a long brutal painful death and I would enjoy every single second.

I shift shaking myself off, I know my brother well enough to know he would never let this stand, he would let us kill them and when we do It I would take great pleasure in doing it slowly

“Bring them to the cellar, we can deal with them later”

I spit the last of the blood from my mouth at the crying boy on the ground, they start to beg and cry but they were dying for this, if I had to wait until they hit 18 then that gives me a solid year of torture before they finally die for there crimes.

“They are underage, there are laws”

I snort and look at dad

“Yeah and look what Carter did to those who hurt Carly”

Gerald sighs rubbing his face with his hands

“Look we wait for carters word before we do anything else, either way they won’t get away with this, they will suffer for this but you need to wait for Carter”

I roll my eyes but Ali whimpering pulls me from my thoughts

“you guys need to shut the f**k up and get over here, she has poison in her system, I needs mums help here”

“Go I’ll take them to the cellar you can deal with them later, but don’t mention this to anyone outside the family”

Dad snaps, I nod and turn to find Ali, hunter already had her in his arms as I rush over and grab Carly, we appear in our living room. Where Mum hand a blanket on the floor, she looks to Adlai

“Go wake Derek and Bella”

Adlai throws me shorts before she turns, running out the door. I pull them on and fall to my knees beside mum and Carly as they try to heal her, she starts to cough and splutter, bile rises in my own stomach and I heave, hunter starts coughing to as our chest felt like it was full of liquid

“Why are they affected like her! She’s not marked”

Mum asks Carly

“They are fated, the marks haven't appeared yet but the bond is strong”

If I wasn’t losing my damn mind I’d jump for joy at that development. But before I can say anything she starts to get sick, hunter grabs her head and pushes it to the side as black goo runs from her mouth.

Her eyes open as she chokes, tears in her eyes as she starts to panic, I run my hand down her cheek

“It’s ok baby, we’ve got you, we’ve got you, your safe Now”

I kiss her head, tears stream down my cheeks. I could feel the pain, the heartbreak of what happened. I could feel it all. Hunters face was contorted as he drops his head in the crook of her neck and he kisses her crying.

“Keep talking to her it’s helping to calm her”

Carly tells us, I nod wiping my face and taking a breath so I wouldn’t fall apart

“We love you, we love you so much, your our entire world. We are so f*****g sorry we hurt you but we are here and we ain’t ever leaving you again”

Hunter tells her, I nod in agreement

“Yep never again, your going to stay with us now baby, nothing will ever happen to you again”

I kiss her head and cheek. She chokes up more black stuff, tears stream down her face

“We won’t ever let anyone hurt you again, your safe, slow down your breathing, your safe your safe”

She starts to cry, she doesn’t look as paralysed as she was, she manages to lift her head up a little and she cries, weeping as she gasps for air as the last bit of black stuff pours from her mouth.

“They, they they”

She cries, I grab her and I yank her in between us both on the floor as we hold her

“We know, we know baby”

“But, but how”

She sobs so hard I swear I thought her body was convulsing

“Ssssh it’s ok your with us now, your safe now”

The doors burst open and Derek and Bella storm in, when they see her there faces fall

“Oh my baby”

Bella says falling and trying to take her from us, she screams as her mum touches her so I growl ripping her back into my arms

“No! Not yet”

I snap at them

“Your safe; nobody is going to hurt you”

She roars and screams and cries, both me and hunter just hold her, we don’t let her go, she screams it all out as my chest constricts. I’d never felt pain like the pain she was in right now. We cry with her, we can do nothing but hold her through this. I just couldn’t understand how this happened. I wanted answers and I was going to kill for them.

“What the f**k happened?”

Derek asks mum, he was as white as a sheet, he looked like a damn ghost.

“She hasn’t been sleeping and”

Mums face scrunches up as she starts to cry to, but she pushes through it and talks anyway

“She hasn’t been sleeping for months but this last week she didn’t even get an hour so her friend was going to a party and she thought she could go and get drunk and hopefully fall asleep, it was honestly an innocent thought but one boy got her a drink, she wanted to stay away from him but then she got dizzy and she couldn’t even walk”

Ali screams into hunters shoulder as she relives it over and over again. Even though I don’t want to hear it I want every damn detail.

“He carried her into a dark room, she couldn’t move her arms or her legs, she couldn’t see anything and they”

Mums face scrunched up and she gasps crying and shaking her head

“Then the boys felt it, she didn’t even know what they were doing she just sat there screaming, locked inside her body. We got there pretty fast but not fast enough, the fear in her, what happened, I wish I could take it away”

Carly says bluntly like she’s in shock, hunter starts to sob as my body shakes and trembles in anger. Dane was ready for blood, the only thing stopping him from going to the cellar was Ali and the fact she needed us now more than ever before.

I was going to kill them for this, I was going to rip them from limb to limb. I hold onto them both and I don’t let them go.

Eventually a sniffling hiccuping Ali lifts her head and looks at us both

“I’m—so—sorry”

I shake my head

“Shush baby, you have nothing to be sorry about”

Her chin starts to wobble again, I take her face in my hands and I rest my head on her forehead

“We love you, you are safe with us, you know that right”

She nods, her mum and dad move closer and she nearly jumps out of her skin, she screams in shock leaping onto me and away from them

“It’s just us Ali, mum and dad we won’t hurt you”

She shakes her head, her body was trembling

“No— only— them”

She says leaning on my shoulder

“But we won’t hurt you”

“Nooo”

She cries, starting to sob again.

“It’s because she can feel the tingles with them, all other touches remind her of them”

I growl pulling her tighter as Carly explains that to them, they freeze and understanding floods their features.
