Dangerous Kisses

- Fay's POV - Standing here, sipping on my champagne, my gaze is deadlocked on my stepfather's as he and my stepbrother watch me from across the room. Somehow, I knew they'd show up here, but I thought Jax would be chasing my mother, but he hasn't even looked her way. Knowing I need to join her party before she has another aneurysm, I turn my back on them and begin to walk away. Expecting them to follow me into the VIP area, I'm relived when I take a seat, noticing they're still standing near the door. "Did you find out why they're here?" my mother's words are already slurred as she whispers, sitting down beside me with her back to their dangerous, prying eyes. "No, I didn't even talk to them. You literally just told me to stay away from them." as a server walks by, my mother snatches two more flutes of champagne off the tray, thrusting one into my hands with a smile on her face. "Just go find out why're they are here. It's my divorce celebration, Fay. They shouldn't be here." gulping my drink down in two sips, I hand her the empty glass and get to my feet, smoothing out the creases in my skirt. "Fine, bur after I find out, I'm leaving.. I shouldn't be here either." smiling because she got her way, I give her an eyeroll and walk away, taking deep, calming breaths to try to slow my racing heart. I don't know why I let them get to me, but sometimes they get under my skin, and I can't shake the feelings that linger. Of course, when I get to the bar, they're smirking as if they won - which they kind of did, all thanks to my mother. "It didn't take you long." ignoring my stepbrother's dark, hungry gaze, I turn to my stepfather and lift my chin with confidence. trying to show them that I'm not afraid of them, even though I'm a little bit, sometimes. "Mom wants to know why you're here." "I own this city, Fay. I can be wherever the f*ck I want to be." "Right, Mr.Billionaire..." his yes twinkle with darkness and danger as ge clenches his defined jaw, a grin playing at the corners of his lips. As he takes a step closer, I can feel the heat from his body as it radiates against my skin, and my eyes are drawn to his on instinct, with murderous eyes and sharp jaw, Jax Leone is the total package. Standing over six'three with bulging muscles chiseled into his broad figure and colorful, dark ink carved into his flesh, it's difficult not to drool in his presence. But he's not a good man and looks aren't everything. "You can tell your mother that I was just stopping by to check on things." "But is that why you really came here tonight, Jax?" my heart races as he steps closer, his aura exuding danger and allure. As Noah moves next to him, I find myself wedged between the two of them, with my back strained against the edge of the bar. "Why do you think we came here tonight, Kitten?" - Noah asks as I look into his dark eyes. I ignore the warning bells in my head, seeing only red flags and desire as I match the grin he's flashing me. He reaches out and grabs my hip, grazing his hand down the side of my thigh, causing a breath to hitch in my throat as my stepfather watches. "What are you doing?" "Whatever I wanna f*cking do." as he wraps his hand around the handle of my knife, I put my hand over his top stop him. "What, you don't want to play?" "Noah.." well aware that Jax is watching, hi body pressed against mine, I shove Noah's hand away and try to squeeze between them. Breaking free of their cage, I regain my composure as I take a few steps back, grabbing my jacket off the hook. "Leaving so soon? It's not past your bedtime yet, little one." Jax says as I tighten my jacket and flip my hair over my shoulder, shaking my head as he smirks in delight. "I don't have a bedtime, Jax, and yes, I'm leaving." without letting them say anything else, I turn on my heel and walk back toward my mother, who has been watching the entire encounter. "Well?"- she asks immediately. "Well, what? All he said was that he came to check on things. If you're so worried about it, go over there and talk to him yourself." she scoffs and shakes her head, looking somewhat disappointed. "They're gone, Fay. They left." Of course, right.. when I'm ready to f*cking leave. "Sorry, but I'm leaving too, I told you that. I'm happy for you now that you have your independence, so enjoy it, mom." she pulls me into a hug, the alcohol she's been sucking back is starting to make her all sappy and sh*t, making me realize it's definitely time to go. At last, I step outside and feel the cool breeze gently caress my skin. I begin walking, scanning my surroundings to make sure Jax and Noah aren't around, finally letting out the breath I've been holding back. Suddenly, I'm pulled by my wrist and yanked into the alleyway that runs between the buildings. "What the fu-" I'm about to scream and question "Shh, Fay. It's just me." looking into the eyes of my stepfather's assistant, I can't help the flutters that consume my stomach, making me weak in the knees. Holden plants his hand over my mouth, silencing my screams, so nobody comes running to intervene. Getting lost in his mesmerizing green eyes, I smile against his palm, darting my tongue out to lick it playfully. "Did you just lick me?" he asks, grinning so wide that his eyes sparkle like diamonds even under the black sky. I just nod as he moves his hand away from my mouth, resting it on the curve of my hip, shocking me with his electrifying touch. "I did, actually." I laugh, hooking my finger under his belt, tugging him against me. "What are you doing here?" he grins, moving his lips to my neck, his breath skating like fire across it. "I wanted to see you, but I had to wait until your bodyguards left." I roll my eyes at the mention of Jax and Noah, but they're still taunting me inside my head. Holden kisses my neck, sucking my skin between his teeth before pulling away and clenching his jaw as he looks at me. "You wanted to see me, huh?" I smirk, flirtatiously licking my lips, already knowing what he wants. "Of course, Fay." his yes are dark with desire as he speaks, darting them to my lips. "You know I can't stay away from you." I just smile at his answer, feeling heat rising between us as he inches even closer, pressing me against the building. "Well.. now that you're here, what do you want to do?" I ask, seductively running my hands over his chest, feeling every defined muscle underneath his silk shirt. His hands clasp around my waits gently, his touch sending shivers down my spine. "I think you already know the answer to that." he whispers, his gaze intense and with that, he leans in to kiss me, and I lose myself in the moment. - Noah's POV - Watching her in the alley with Holden, I want to rip his f*cking head off for touching her, and I can tell, my father isn't too happy about it either. I mean, his f*cking assistant is f*cking his stepdaughter - his obsession - and something has to be done about it. Pulling away from the venue, he takes a call in hushed tones, making sure I can't hear, hanging up quicker than usual. "What was that about"? I ask, curiosity getting the best of me. "The f*cking end of Holden, that's what." he pours another whiskey, offering me one that I politely decline. "Did Shutter set the cameras up yet?" he asks, his voice deep and murderous, his eyes darkening with rage. "Yes, we're good." that makes him grin, knowing we can watch her whenever we want. I can see the anger boiling inside him, and I can't help, but feel flicker of satisfaction knowing that Holden's days are numbered. As we drive back to the mansion, I can't shake the feeling that things are about to escalate, and I'm f*cking here for it. My father is a powerful man, and when he sets his mind to into something, there's no one to stop him. I know that Holden's downfall is imminent, and I can't wait to see that look of utter defeat on his face. Once we arrive home, my father immediately heads to his office, and I head to the monitors. As I watch the live feed, I can see Fay's home in the living room, alone. If that isn't f*cking tempting, then I don't know what is. Adjusting my c**k, I leave the room, intending to find out what my father is up to. Thoughts about Fay swirl deep in my mind. My father's icy, unwavering eyes meet mine as soon as I enter the hallway, his lips pulling down into a frown. "I'm heading back out." "Am I needed? - I ask. "Not for this, no." he strides off, lighting a cigarette, which he only does when he's stressed. He is up to no good, but so am I. I'm going to visit Fay, while she sleeps. . . . Getting to her apartment, I make my way up in the shadows, careful not to make any noise as I slip in the front door. Hoping not to hear something coming from her room, I'm relieved when I hear nothing, but the TV on low. Her housemate's door is shut, so I sneak into Fay's room, keeping the light off as she sleeps soundly in her bed. Walking over, I stare down at her as she sleeps, picturing all the vile things I could do to her in my head. Her lips part as light murmurs escape them, and her long, dark lashes flutter as if she's having a nightmare. I sit down, gliding my fingers though her hair, stirring her awake on purpose. "Noah?" she asks sleepily, rubbing her tired eyes, looking f*cking gorgeous as the silk blanket glides against her skin when she moves. "Hi, Kitten." "What are you doing here?" I just smile, grazing my fingers along her jaw, tracing a line to her lips. "I needed to see you, Fay." her eyes widen as she realizes what time is it and that, of all people, I shouldn't be here. "Noah, it's late. Why are you here?" she asks, sitting up and looking at me with a mix of concern and confusion. I ignore her question and lean in capturing her lips with mine. She resist at first, but then I feel her giving in as she melts into the kiss, working her eager tongue against mine. I pull away, studying her flushed face and the way her chest rises and falls rapidly. "You shouldn't be here.." she whispers, but I can see the desire in her eyes as she lick her tingling lips. I shake my head, twirling a lock of her hair around my finger. "I couldn't stay away, and you f*cking know that, Fay." "This is dangerous, Noah." she admits, her voice barely above a whisper. I know she's right, but in this moment, I just can't bring myself to give a f*ck. She's way too tempting to not to go for it again. Grabbing her jaw between my fingers, I capture her lips again, feeling the force of her tongue as she kisses back with reluctance. Nervously, she grabs the bottom of my shirt, tugging me closer, trying to pull me on top of her half-naked body. Her hands slide up my shirt, and she traces my abs with her nails, making e shiver as I deepen the kiss, letting a growl escape my throat. "F*ck, Fay.." sinking my teeth into her bottom lip, her breath hitches, and her eyes flutter open to meet mine, as we stay stuck on each other, I slip my tongue between her lips, toying with the back of her throat. She sees hunger flash in my eyes the entire time. Luckily, I have self-control, and I break the kiss before it goes further - it can't just yet. I swipe the pad of my thumb along her lips, smearing my spit around like lip gloss, making them glisten in the gleam of the moon. "Be a good girl, Kitten, and go to sleep." "Noah, I-" she starts to say something, but I interrupt. "This never happened, Fay." as I say I notice curiosity in her eyes as I get off the bed, my eyes turning dark and threatening. "Say it! Say, it never happened!" snatching her throat always works, and as I grip it tight, she finally parts her plump lips to speak. "Fine, It never f*cking happened, Noah." when she finally says it, I just press a kiss on her forehead and release her, walking away without another word, but inside my head, the screaming won't f*cking stop. She has to know the f*cking truth, it's killing me.
