Protagonist One!

Name:

Akane Akechi. She tells persons she is not familiar with to call her Akechi, but her close friends are allowed to call her Akane. She really isn't too fond of her name but keeps it because her mother named her.

Pronouns: 

She/ they [but she mainly uses she/her]. 

Age: 

23 years old, her birthday is in March. 

Background:

Akane lost her mother when she was younger. Her mother was in a fatal car crash and passed away. She was left alone with her father, Ieyasu Mori who works at a technology and security company.  He had multiple girlfriends in the past, however, none of them stayed. They lasted a while only to leave mysteriously.  That gave her a few attachment issues and made it harder for her to open up to people because she expects them to leave.  That was until a year ago when Ieyasu meet Sara, apparently, they were a match and her father proposed.  Now she is forced to move in with Sara's family, which consist of Sara and her two daughters (one of which is Violet). 

Personality

Akane is a mix between an introvert and an extrovert, in other words, she can be considered as an ambivert.  Though most view her as an extrovert.  She likes to be around people and share her experiences however, she regularly needs time to recharge.  Akane looks beyond what she can see - she looks at things from the whole and neglects some details.  Though - her memory is impressive.  However, she constantly needs feedback and assurance or else she can be very demotivated.  Akane likes puzzles and games and is competitive to some extent. However, she has a lot of feelings and tends to feel a lot more than others [yes she cried during movies]. She is also very protective of those that she loves, being willing to defend them whenever she can. Unfortunately, it takes a while for her to open up to others and get to that position where she would defend them.  

Physical:

Akane is Japanese.  She has a rounded face with tanned skin from outdoor gardening. Akane has brown eyes and a flat, rounded nose. She has straight black hair that reaches just under her chest.  She recently dyed it blonde but is now letting it grow out in its natural form, as a result, her roots and about two inches are black while the rest is blonde.  Akane is 165cm tall and weighs about 110 lbs.  She is more or less fit due to taking kendo classes, but this also means her body is littered with bruises and scars.  She does not have any piercings or tattoos due to her father. But she is determined to get some as soon as she leaves his house.  

Social relationships:

Ieyasu Akechi:  Her father, who cares for her and is very kind but stern.  He has rules and expects her to follow them.  But he does not yell and is not violent which she really appreciates because loud noises are a trigger for her.

Sara Khan:  Her new stepmother. She does not mind her, but she does not see her as a mother figure yet. In fact, she believes that her father would not keep her around long. As a result, she does not know much about her. 

Violet Khan: her new step sister.  They have a lot of tension between them and it is very awkward.  Violet tries to be kind but because they are both introverts it makes it very hard to communicate.  Will their relationship change? Who knows.

Yuuta: Her cousin who she is close with and the only one she can really talk to and open up with.  He studies back in Japan with the rest of his family. 

Cyan:  One of the few persons from the university that she is close with.  They are often seen together which causes people to assume they are dating.  

Extras:

Occupation: student at university, studying business subjects and has never worked before. But Professor Mouri has offered her a job as one of his interns/ assistances.

Hobbies:  reading, cooking, clubbing, gardening, kendo. 

Language:  she can speak Japanese and English but still makes minor mistakes and mixes up words at times.

Protagonist Two!

Name:

Cyan Taylor. He got his name from his father whose favourite colour was cyan,  and thought it was a nice name.  Cyan thinks the spelling of it is nice but he has no feelings towards the name itself. Most people call him Cyan or sometimes Cy [pronounced as sigh].

Age: 

23 years old, his birthday is in January.  

Background:

Cyan Taylor underwent transition surgery when he was 15 years old.  But during this time he received a great amount of bullying from his so-called 'friends' which led to him becoming more reserved and to himself when he was younger.  Thankfully, his parents were accepting of this and paid for it since they had the money. He is very close to his father and mother, James and Mary.  They always provided for him and he had a good childhood despite a couple of years of bullying (2 to be exact).   However, he keeps his transition a secret from people because of the way children treated him when he was younger (before he fully transitioned).  Cyan kept his birth name because he loved it.  He is now friends with the other 5 students but do they know of his past?   Currently,  Cyan is more 'alive' and happier now.  He can make anyone smile and tends to show a lot of his emotions around those with who he is close. 

Personality: 

ENTP

Cyan is more stoic in nature and can come across as aloof.  He does not smile and always seems serious, however, if you do make a joke he will laugh.  Cyan is very intelligent, being a math genius if you will - but always works hard for what he wants.  Cyan is great at making friends now that he is comfortable in his own skin. However, Cyan is a bit sensitive and impatient.  Little things can throw him off and make him sad, but it doesn't last long because he is very adaptable.  His impatience leads to a few impulsive actions.  Lucky for him, he is great at talking himself out of bad situations. 

Physical: 

Cyan is of African descent.  He is about 170cm tall and well built due to his dancing. He practices different types of dances from ballroom to hip-hop and even contemporary.  He has dark brown skin and curly hair which he plans on growing out a bit. Cyan has dark eyes and pretty teeth, in fact, he thinks his teeth and smile are his favourite part of his face. He has one tattoo, which is seven rainbow cloured lines around his wrist. 

Social relationship:

Mary Taylor and James Taylor: his parents who he loves and respect.  His father is very loud and animated and he tends to command a room every time he enters.  His mother is very smart and observant but has a strong sense of self.  

Akane:  his friend at uni who he really likes and cherishes.  He enjoys her company but is very hesitant to tell her that he likes her.  And so he holds it in as much as he could.  

Liam:  Another friend who he is close to at school,  they met because Liam helped him get a snack out of the vending machine.  They are actually both very close and share a couple of secrets that shall be disclosed eventually. 

Extras:

Occupation: student at university, studying accounting and finance and he works as an intern for Professor Mouri shhh no one knows about this.

Hobbies: dancing, listening to music/ making beats,  track and field. 

Language:  he can speak English and a bit of Spanish.
