In an alternate universe on a world called “Idris” resided the most unique, serene, beautiful and magical creatures. Some creatures flourished during the day while others preferred the solace and beauty of the night sky. these creatures of the light lived in fear of a future where some of the more nefarious nocturnal would one day use their power to take over the day and bring about the “eternal night”. Either you increased their value or you were not worth the time of day. Eventually the Faylinn line reached a point of desperation and had to marry their last male heir off to a family below their status due to the inevitable inbreeding of the elite that resulted in the decline of pregnancies thereafter. the male was married off to a family of mystics that finally conceived a Faylinn heir or so they had hoped….
