You are lazy

Gu junxiu fought with the sword for hours and the sword was not giving up and she was fighting so beautifully that almost the whole school had come out to watch her. They were surprised because from what they heard she was supposed to be a useless child who couldn't cultivate but what they saw was the opposite to that. She was fighting like someone who had held a sword forever in her life. Gu Junxiu was shocked that despite fighting for so long she was still energetic and wanted to fight some more. She held her rod even tighter and fought with all her might to defeat the sword. The undefeated sword felt the change in her and when she got the will to fight back passionately it stopped attacking her. Gu Junxiu was disappointed that the fight was over only when she started getting the hang of it. "The sword finds you worthy to wield it, now you can pass and take it with you. The first lesson was a pass," said the Lord. She took the sword and turned around to leave when the whole school started clapping for her. She felt conscious of herself from the attention that she was receiving. She held her head high when all she wanted was for the ground to swallow her whole. She walked to the crowd and stood next to her brother. The teachers broke the crowd that had formed and guided the new students away. Everyone wanted to be friends with Gu Junxiu after what they had witnessed and prayed to be in the same sleeping quarters as her. They were led to the sects student quarters, we're one house would house five students. They were lined up and given a number each and the house you get and your housemates depend on your number. Gu Junxiu was number sixty and she got the house next to Gu Jun Hee's house. She and her housemates were headed to their house when teacher Kim stopped them. "Gu Junxiu, Overlord Young has reserved the house next to the lake for you. The group that is chosen with you will live there with you," he said and instructed an older student to show them the way. They walked to their new house, the students that were in the same group as she was excited to get special treatment. They were looking forward to learning more from Gu Junxiu. Junxiu was busy thinking about her fight with the sword caring less about her sleeping arrangements. She felt how powerful she was and how strong she had become and it made her proud. She wanted to grow even stronger and go to heaven. If she continued with the same spirit then she would be able to level up. She made a promise to herself to learn and practice as much as she needed to become strong. Even if she doesn't make it to heaven she could be powerful enough to trade with the Lord. She would do a task for him and in return, he would send her home. She gripped her sword tightly and with her newfound determination she went inside the house. It was a big house with one living room, kitchen, five bedrooms, garden, and a well. The cottage looked very nice and was very comfortable. The fireplace had firewood so all they did was light it and the house was warm. The other students went into their different rooms and started cultivating. All of them wanted to be strong and be the best. Gu Junxiu found a room for herself and locked the door before calling Ting ting out. "Ting ting I want you to teach me everything you know. I am ready to learn how to become strong and level up," she said with determination. "Then first you need to cultivate and absorb the Qi in the air and level up. I can sense that your Qi has increased from your cultivation with the sword. Keep practicing with the sword to increase your level for now and I will find all else that you will need later," said the fox before he disappeared. Gu Junxiu took the sword outside to the garden and put it down. The sword understood what she wanted and got to the sky to attack her. She found a rod in a nearby tree and took her position and started her practice. "Not bad," said Ting ting to the Lord as they sat on top of the tree watching Gu Junxiu. "You gave the sword to awaken her fighting spirit and gave her the motivation she needs to work hard," he added. "I have no idea what you are talking about." "She fancies you," he said. "That is bad for her," he explained but the Lord didn't react to his words. Gu Junxiu was fighting to keep up with the sword. She was so concentrated on that she didn't notice the two. She was feeling a thrill from the fight and yearned more of it so she attacked the sword with all her strength. "I never asked her to fall for me so why are you telling me this?" "You are incapable of giving her what she wants," he stated plainly. "Are you saying that I am incapable of pleasing a woman?" asked an infuriated Lord. "No, but you won't always be there. You find her interesting like you do many things. But over time you always lose interest in them, some in a day or a year or ten years. You never stick to anything for long and you hate commitments," he explained. "All that is nothing but lies," he defended himself. "The emperor of the heavens gave you the position of the Overlord to manage when Overlord Chang was sent away for his punishment. It has barely been three years and already you are training a successor," he pointed out. "I can't be the Lord and the tenth Overlord. It is too much work," he complained. "Too much work? All you do is sleep most of the time and when you are not sleeping you are meditating. The only you have done in a hundred years is after you took over as the Overlord." "Having the entire continent fear you aren't easy," "I agree but they fear you for things you did two five hundred years ago. You don't do anything anymore but complain about how much you work. You are lazy." "The last time I checked I don't answer you. And you are just like my father, I don't need to work. I need my sleep." he said firmly.
