My back hurts and my knuckles are bruised, but I carry on. Working 20 hrs out of the day isn't easy, I do it out of love for my exiled mother, who has been banished by my father the powerful alpha of the Secret Moon pack for her crimes. My father as powerful as he is has been alpha for almost 25 years and he is still unmated. He ruthlessly takes whatever and whomever he wants. My mother was chosen by my father to be his Luna, they were not fated mates, he wanted her so he took her. when I was 14 and training with the pack's warriors, preparing for my turn as alpha, I heard terrible screams coming from my parents quarters. Sensing danger I ran as fast as I could to my parents rooms, my father had my mother by her hair and was beating her mercilessly. I tan to her side and begged my father to release her, asking what was happening. " this b***h has found her mate and was making ready to run away with him" he screamed while he kicked my mom in her ribs. " Please, please let me go, we aren't mates you have used me and taken whatever you wanted from me" my mother begged "I have given you an heir, now I have found my fated mate please let me go, let me experience love" she pleaded "Father please dont hurt my mother anymore, please" I begged " she can go under 1 condition" my father said, then he laid his conditions down and it rocked my mother and I to the core. " If she wishes to be free to live and love with her fated mate, she must leave you my son here to ascend your rightful place as alpha of this pack" " she can NEVER return, if she does I will kill her on sight" my mother fell to her knees and begged and pleaded with him to let her take me with her to return when I am 18 and have gained my wolf. " Those are my conditions take them or die as an exiled rogue along with your fated mate", my mother started to cry and opened her mouth to speak before I cut her off, " I'll stay mother, for your happiness I will stay, I love you and I want you to be happy......I'll stay" We said our goodbyes and I promised to visit her when I came of age and was alpha of the pack, she packed what little she had and left the pack with her fated mate Sam. I was sad she was leaving but happy she was finally complete with her mate. Little did I know my father's jealousy and ruthlessness would overcome him and later that night he took his Omega and 2 warriors from the pack, hunted my mother and Sam down a few miles outside of our territory and killed Sam while he forced my mother to watch, breaking her heart and their bond in 1 blow. Upon his return he came to my room and denounced me as his son, demoted me to an omega and throwing me in the basement of the packs house to serve any and everyone who ordered me to work. I am now 22 years of age my wolf Blaze and I have been slaves to the pack and basically work 20 hrs a day doing every menial task they give me to do. With my 4 hrs I exercise and train myself for an hr, sleep for 2 hrs and prepare myself for the days work with the last hr I am determined to not let my father's hatefulness break me. I will find my fated mate and I will leave this place, find my mother and make a life for myself. I am the son of an Alpha and I will rise above this. Father is expecting a very important guest, he has demanded I clean the mansion from top to bottom and wash all his cars till they shine. He's expecting to take another wife soon or as my wolf and I always say another lamb to the slaughter. He treats them horribly, disrespects them, cheats on them and them when he's bored of them.he discards them like trash and takes another. I don't know how he can treat people this way, it's awful. I've done all he asked of me and I ask if I can let Blaze out for a run, he tells me to make sure his guests don't see me and to run near the lands on the far side of his borders " yes Alpha" I bow and escape before he finds something else for me to do. Blaze is excited he hasn't been for a run in a few months " you ready buddy" I ask him "am I ever LET'S GOOOOO" he howls loud enough to give me a headache and I beg him to keep it down. I strip down and tie my clothes to the inside of my leg, as I break into a run Blaze come to the forefront of my mind and takes over, in a flash of silver grey we start running towards the far side of the pack's lands. I love the feeling of the wind thru my fur, the fact that Moon Goddess has blessed me with superior speed doesnt hurt either. Silvan bless him is just happy to be along for the ride as he doesnt get out much either, we live for the days when we get to stretch my legs and just run for the fun of it. We dont train with the warriors as a son of an Alpha should so we practice what little we learned when we were younger while we're out on our run. He may not be a stone cold killer but he can defend himself need be and I'm not to shabby myself. I'm a large wolf despite the fact that we dont get what nutrition we need from the small amounts of food we're allowed.I guess it's my lineage, my coat is shiny silvery grey, I think I'm beautiful and Silvan thinks I'm vain. We're coming close to the river on my father's land and I ask Blaze if we can take a dip in the water " sure bud, a dip would be nice and cool, you take the lead you're the better swimmer" he moves to the back of my mind as we shifted to my human form. I dive into the cool clear water and emerge floating on my back just enjoying the sky. "Aaaah Blaze I'm a twenty two year old man no mate, a father who hates me and a mother i can't contact for fear that my father will end her life" closing my eyes and relaxing i drift on the waters and in no time I've fallen asleep
