Phadra's Successful Journey

As I look over my lands and see my pack peacefully and happily living with each other, everyone working and existing in harmony, I think about where I came from and the hardships I've had to overcome and I praise the moon goddess for all she has done for me.

Abandoned in the woods at the age of 14 by my parents, out of fear of their love being discovered and the child they've been hiding from the world. " Phadra, we dont want to leave you here but we have no choice, your birth was against the rules and we cannot risk you being found and killed" my mother tried to explain why they were doing this but I was too afraid and distraught to understand. I took the supplies they had given me and I made my way into.the thick brush to look for shelter before night fell.

You see I am a hybrid half werewolf and half Phoenix, my mother was from a long line of Phoenix royalty and she had met my dad and they had fallen in love, I was born as a result of their for hidden love and now I had to be hidden away. The mixing of species was outlawed and I would be killed on sight by the alpha of my fathers pack.

I fought and scraped to survive in this forest, I hunted, i built shelters, I even survived the wild animals that tried to hunt me several times. Wondering where my true power would lie I didn't know if I'd ever meet my wolf or if I would manifest the fire powers of my Phoenix half.

Over the years plenty of abandoned, exiled and rogue wolves have come to make the forest their home, we live and work together as one and we became a family . On the morning of my 18th birthday I was awoken in the wee hrs by a heat from a blinding light and crazy as it sounds that light was calling my name "Phadra Tumoon you have proven yourself to be honest, caring, strong and a leader, I have brought your wolf to you myself!" I gasp and drop to my knees "m m m moon goddess?!" I stutter " rise my child and meet your wolf, she is a fierce warrior she is strong and I have blessed her with the gift of telepathy"

"Thank you moon goddess, thank you so much , I am grateful and will never make you regret your gift to me" she touched my temple and my wolf awoke within me, her soft voice hid the fury she had inside " hello Phadra, I am Ember your wolf" " nice to meet you Ember" I said, I turn to thank moon goddess again but she isn't finished, "Phadra, I have looked into your future I have seen what you will become. Strong, powerful decisive and a force to be reckoned with, I have seen a true alpha in you"

With that she was gone the sky was dark once more and I was alone. My best friend Aurora came around the corner " dang it, I was hoping to wake you with breakfast and wish you a happy 18th birthday, but here you are up and at em like the leader you are" she gasped " Phadra you are glowing..have you gained your wolf?!" " yes her name is Ember, I also recieved a visit from moon goddess" " you're joking " she grabbed my hand " tell me EVERYTHING!!"

I told her everything and she was practically bouncing with excitement " well......shift let's see her" I effortlessly shift into a beautiful pure white wolf and to both our surprise my wolf's eyes are a blazing bright fiery red, the eyes of a true alpha. Made not by blood or by killing another alpha but of my own merit and integrity and blessing from the moon goddess. Aurora couldn't believe it, she was so happy for me, she fell to her knees and pledged her life to me "I will follow you anywhere alpha.....wait or do I call you luna" "get up you nutball, you don't have to do that, let's go get some breakfast and start planning how we're going to build a better life for ourselves and our chosen family"

I fought, I scraped while we grew in numbers and gave the rejected a home and in exchange for our kindness they gave me their loyalty. I acquired lands and properties from male alphas who had heard of me and came to take me down. We took classes and educated ourselves, Aurora is now head of all my business ventures, I bought the forest we once called home and built a sprawling mansion for my pack. I am so proud of what we've become and thank moon goddess every night for her blessings on me.

I am now 22 years old a strong and fierce female alpha and I have yet to find my mate although I am searching fat and wide I haven't found him yet. But I'm hopeful and I'm sure he's searching for me too.

Aurora is standing next to me as I come out of my daydream, " Pha you've recieved another letter from Alpha Cree, just as threatening and vile as the last 23 he sent" she rolls her eyes and make gagging noises, I giggle at her antics. Alpha Cree has asked, begged , pleaded and now he's demanding that I become his latest Luna. That man disrespects the mating bond at every turn, he hasnt even tried to find his mate, he just takes any attractive woman he wants and makes her his wife, when he's bored with her he finds another beautiful woman to warm his bed.

My refusal has made him furious and this last letter is a challenge for my lands and pack's submission to him. "Ooooh moon goddess he's crazed, why cant he leave me the hell alone. I really hope I find my mate soon"
