Silvan and I woke up early and took my summons to grandmother, who by the way was pissed as hell. Granny actually set her vanity on fore from her rage alone. She made a phone call and asked for Councilman Pyro, when he came to the phone she asked him what the hell did they think they were doing. He told grandmother he had no part of it and it was all Councilman Burns doing. Grandmother huffs and puffs and throws things about the room. " Granny, I'm ok though, I want to face them and get this over with " I hold her hands in mine " I've done nothing and they only have some archaic laws to charge me with, I believe this councilman has ulterior motives and the only way we will find out what it is, is if I go ahead with the trial " grandmother gasps and turns to me with her eyes wide open " of course, of course I should've figured it out, Councilman Burns has wanted his family to ascend the throne and the only way he can do that is if the Tumoon family has no heir " " with you and your mother back in the picture, his daughter would be up for the crown " she continues " if he gets rid of you and Talon, his daughter will ascend and she's so stupid it will really be him running the kingdom "

Now that I understand what's happening I really do want to face this council, they don't know me, they've never seen me and want to put me to death because my parents loved me enough to let me live! What arrant rubbish, oh I'm coming flame council and I hope your asses are ready. We go back upstairs shower, dress, eat breakfast and the gang and I walk over to the court to put our foots up the flame council's ass. The guards at the doors tell us only 3 are allowed with each defendant, mom and I are the ones being charged so I take Silvan and Aurora with me, mom says she'll take dad and Armand. Grandmother rolls her chair over the guards foot and tells him " I'd love to see you stop me " and goes straight through the door, Aurora laughs " your granny is a bad ass " We file in and they direct us to our seats in front of the council. Silvan squeezes my hand and whispers in my ear " I've got you and you've got me " I kiss his lips softly " always ".

" Ladies and gentlemen, we will convene this trial shortly all parties are present and accounted for, their is a reigning monarch present and the councilmen are ready to begin ". There's also a section with spectators, I guess the citizens are curious and I dont blame them. An elderly gentleman stands and introduces himself as councilman Flare, he states the charges mom and I are being charged with and asks us how we plead. We both plead guilty and a shocked gasp goes out among the crowd. The council looks at each other in a panic, they never expected us to plead guilty. " Um ladies you do understand that you have pled guilty and you shall be punished if it is determined you are indeed guilty " councilman Flare asked. I look at mom and she looks at me, then we look at him.and we both nod yes. " Then by all means let us begin " They call on mom first and ask her about the circumstances surrounding my birth, they then asked her about my disappearance and why she never took her place on the throne. When mom gets to the part about Ash locking her and dad in a cell for the last 5 years everyone gasps again. No one including the council was aware of my parent's detainment, they covered their mics and spoke among themselves for a few minutes. The infamous councilman Burns stands and says " she still has to answer for her crimes, she lay with a Lycan and produced a child, it is against our laws and she should be punished" councilman Flare stands and says " she was wrongfully imprisoned for 5 years, the penalty for her crime is 2 years plus the destruction of the offending offspring " " she has served her time " he finished Burns stands again, he is visibly angry and he shouts " she is still consorting with the wolf, we cannot let her ascend he would be king, imagine a wolf on the throne of fire " Another councilman stands and introduces himself as councilman Ember " so you would rather a murderer and kidnapper sit on our throne?" meaning Ash. " No, there would be no Tumoon heir and my daughter would ascend the throne " Burns screams. The crowd starts to murmur as they realize what he us up to

Flare stands again " oh Burns we all know she would just be a puppet, with you pulling the strings and wearing the crown, if the girl was a mouse she would run in a cat's mouth, she's so stupid " Burns face goes red with anger and he slams his hand on the counter top. " Talon Tumoon and her bastard offspring both have wolf mates, the laws clearly state no one but those born of fire shall ascend the throne ". My grandmother who has been deathly quiet all along clears her throat and stands up. " Gentlemen I'm sure you've realised my now that a council member is missing, councilman Pyro was dismissed of duty without my permission and I have reinstated him. He has arrived to help rule on this issue " she continues as another robed gentleman comes through a side door and sits with the other councilmen. He side eyes councilman Burns who looks on and is clearly seething with rage. " Also " says grandmother " I made a few changes to the laws as a patting decision as I step down form active reign " the spectators gasp and a few start crying " don't be afraid or sad, I'm an old woman and there are 2 younger generations here to take my place, with my guidance of course " she motions to councilman Pyro who passes copies of the new laws to the rest of the council for them to read over. Burns slams his copy on the table " this is ludicrous, good luck getting us to vote for this rubbish " There are 4 council members here and the queen gets a vote if it comes to a tie. Grandmother smiles and says let the voting commence

" Councilman Burns what says you " he replies " Nay your higness "

" Councilman Flare what says you " he replies " Aye your highness "

" Councilman Ember what says you " he replies " Aye your higness "

" Councilman Pyro what says you " he replies " Aye your higness "

Burns flies into an terrible rage and storms out of the court, even if they were to rule on my portion of the charges now, they can't stop my mother and father from ruling the Phoenix kingdom. Grandmother shut this s**t down before they even got to me. We all hug and kiss and cheer and granny turns to the spectators and reads them the newly placed laws. " Any member of this kingdom who wishes to love, marry and bare children with other species, races or beasts is now allowed to do so " " Any children born of a mixed heritage, race or species are henceforth no longer illegal and can ascend to the highest seat of the land " All citizens of this kingdom are free to love whatever and whomever they want to " " These laws have been voted on by the flame council and the reigning queen, they have been approved and are now put in place to be practiced " " here ends this trial and all parties are dismissed to go freely " councilman Flare says. " Also with the new laws in place and her higness stepping down let me be the first to congratulate Talon Tumoon and Lionel Black on becoming our new king and queen " everyone cheers and starts to hug and celebrate, dad lifts mom into an big hug and they drag me, Silvan, Ro and Armand into it. We all file out of the court and walk arm in arm back to the place for a late lunch.

" That was surprisingly easy " Silvan says " I thought I'd have to break my baby out of prison and flee with her " he chuckles. Aurora rushes past us dragging poor Armand " I'm starving " the rest of us shake our heads and get out of her way. Silvan stops and tells the others well be a few minutes, he takes me back into the garden we recieved our summons in and puts me to sit on the bench. He sits next to me and he tells me he has been talking to granny and my parents, they've all discussed this very important subject and he thinks it's time I know. When we get inside Ro is at the table pigging out, Armand is feeding her between her own fork fills and mom and dad are staring at us with an amused look on their face " you knew didn't you " my dad chuckles of course we knew, he asked for my blessing first " I look at Silvan and turned to the room " well I said yes " Ro spits out whatever the hell was in her mouth " you're getting married ! " I shake my head and she launches herself out of her chair knocking Silvan and to the ground in a three way hug, " I call maid of honor " she shouts and goes right back to her meals. Sil.helps me off the floor and we also sit and start to eat our lunch, he mind links me " excuse me Mrs Cree, but when you have finished your lunch might I interest you in a bit of c**k " I spit my food out and cover my mouth with my hands, turn to glare at Silvan " I almost choked on my damn sandwich Sil " I giggle.

I sit smiling and playing with my food, when I look up the whole table is smirking at me " Oh go on, we know you have some good nookie waiting for you upstairs " Ro says as she ducks from the napkin i throw at her " gotta be faster than that Tumoon, I've been ducking from you for 4 years " she chuckles, " go show that fiance of yours who the true Alpha is " she laughs and slaps my ass when I stand. " Goodnight guys, mom dad, I'll see you tomorrow afternoon " mom chuckles and waves at me. I climb the stairs hesitantly wondering what kind of surprises Silvan has for me. I knock on the door " come in " I walk into the room and I don't even recognize it.
