Chapter 21
Why am I like this? I hear a faint beeping of the machines and the voices of my friends. Jay's here with me, he's with my family. My mom , Sarah, Justin, and my baby sister and brother is here. The one thing that shocked me was I heard my dad's voice. I tried calling out to him, asking why? Why is he here with the rest, crying like the rest? He is only with the family when he is forced to be but he doesn't seem forced right now. Why? It doesn't make sense! I hear the door slam closed. Did they just leave? Why would they leave me alone? I let my mind go blank as a hand holds onto mine. I can hear a soft crying and them whispering. "I'm sorry for not being your hero. I never been the perfect person. I was a terrible husband, friend, co-worker, and dad. I want to prove that I can change.
