Chapter 20

Fear. All I can feel is fear and hope. I am scared that we are just going to fall apart. I hope that never happens. I'm scared that I can't find the words to say. Maybe this is a mistake. What if I am not the right one for him? Kat, you're going to be fine! Justin and me got ya. Yeah, so grab our hands and let's walk you down this aisle. I smile at Justin and grab his hand. Taylor shakes her arm around mine and we start walking. I see Jay with tears in his eyes as he smiles at me. It seems like we been walking forever until I finally reach him. I wipe his tears away and smile. "Hey, loverboy." I whisper as I grab his hand. Jay started his vows with a kiss on the hand. "Katelin Jakes. We been together ever since we were babies. It wasn't forced by our parents but it wasn't our option because we are meant to be. We stayed by each other's side everyday and when we parted we were right next door. I never said to believe in fate or destiny but this is our fate. We are meant to be together and I would do whatever it takes. I loved you since we were kid and I'll never stop loving you, Katelin Christine Jakes." I smile as I feel the tears run down my face. "Jackson Andrew Michaels, you annoyed me everyday of our lives. I love you for it. Everytime I try to push you away, you come back. When I am sad, you pick me up. After we started high school, I wanted to be there for you too. Then you went away, the only thing I wanted to do was to get you back. I never thought that I liked you but it is clear now. I am in love with you and don't ever want to leave your side, J. Till death do us part." The preacher said the other junk that gets us married but I wasn't paying any attention. All I could think about was Jay and our future together. It's wasn't long when my thoughts was interrupted with a kiss. I kiss him back and started feeling dizzy. Is this what it's like to be in love? We pull away and heard a guy in the back over all of the cheers, laughing. My vision goes blurry as I see a girl run over to me. It wasn't until I hit the ground when I figured out what happened. Someone poisoned his lips.
