CHAPTER FORTY The kids were lined up on the couch when Franklin and Kendra walked into the family room. Isla disentangled from her mum and squeezed in beside Levi. Oddly, they’d arranged themselves in size order, which didn’t quite correlate to their ages. Levi, then Isla. Next came Logan, who was small for seven, and then Cody, who was actually younger than him by nearly two years. The oldest boy, Rhys, took up the opposite end to his toddler brother.
