LIAM JORDAN
“That’s it girl,” I licked my lips as she sucked in my c**k and worked her tongue around it.
If there was one thing I loved about Cassie Nelvin it was her talented mouth. She didn’t have the best p***y but was amazing with o******x.
I placed my hand behind her head and pushed her closer and from the gasp she made, it appeared she was savouring the moment.
I was just about to reach my c****x when I heard a knock on the door.
“Who is it?” I barked in annoyance.
No response but the knock got louder.
I withdrew from Cassie and pulled up my trousers before storming to the door to address the disturbant.
On getting to the door, I immediately sniffed my mother.
I walked back into my room and to the hard drugs on my desk which I flushed in the toilet.
“What’s going on?” Cassie asked.
“Just get dressed, okay?” I told her as I tried to get rid of the pugnant odour of the drugs.
“Liam!!” Mum yelled from outside. “I know you’re in there so open up!”
After getting rid of the drugs and spraying a full bottle of fragrances around, I made my way to the door but was held back by Cassie who appeared to be terrified.
“What if she sees me here?” She trembled. “What would I tell her?”
I pushed her hands off me. “That’s none of my business.”
She held my hands again and knelt to the ground. “Please don’t tell her about us. If you do I-I would lose my mate and would be labeled as…”
“A slut?” I laughed. “Isn’t that what you are?”
She became speechless and her lips trembled as she resisted the flood of tears brimming in her eyes. “But I… I love you and that’s why I do the things I do.”
I took her hands off me again. “Well that’s quite sad because I don’t care about you.”
She was shaking so much that I was scared that she would fall unconscious. “Please just don’t tell her.”
“Fine,” I gave in, a little bit concerned about her wetting my floor with tears. “Just clean your tears and stop acting like a child.”
I sighed and turned around to open the door which was about to break open from my mother’s loud banging.
“What is it?” I asked as I opened the door to see my mother’s red furious face.
She pushed past me and walked into the room in sheer annoyance. “What the hell…” She fell quiet when she saw Cassie siting on my bed with a necklace in her hand and my mother’s stern face broke into a smile. “Hey dear, what are you doing here?”
Although Cassie was doing a pretty good acting job, I could still see the slight tremors she was having.
“I… uhm, I j-just came to…” She stammered as she concocted lies in her head to say.
“You came to?” Mum inquired gently.
“I came to uhm…” She looked up at me with scared eyes which I knew could have touched me if I had a heart. Then she looked down to her necklace and said. “I came to congratulate him and give him this necklace as a gift.”
“Oh,” Mother exclaimed. “That’s so nice, Cassie doll.”
Cassie rose to her feet and made her way to the door with shaky legs.
My mother took the necklace from her and embraced her, saying; “Thank you so much, Cassie. I am sure my son would appreciate your gift.”
After that, Cassie walked out swiftly and her footsteps quickened as she departed.
The instant I closed the door, my mother’s smile faded and a stern frown surfaced.
“What nonsense is this?” She asked as she tossed the cheap necklace at me. “If she wanted to give you a gift, she should have at least gotten something nice and not that piece of trash.”
I shook my head and laughed. “You never change, do you?”
“What is there to change?” She said as she sat cross-legged on my couch. “Anyways, I am here on more serious business than talking about that tramp”
From the stressed tone of her voice, I couldn’t help but wonder what could have dragged my mother here. I had expected her to be out preparing for the feast tomorrow night.
“And what is it that brings you here?” I asked as I walked to the bar to pour out a drink.
She let out a loud sigh of distress. “We both saw what happened at the temple today.”
I shot a quick glance at her. “The declaration?”
She waved it off. “Not that,”
“What else happened?” I walked to her and gave her a glass.
She sipped out of the red wine. “The chants for Aiden, the boos you received, and the hate from the crowd…”
I chuckled. “All that doesn’t matter.”
“Yes it does!” She said. “It matters a lot.”
“How?” I asked. “Nothing they’d say would stop me from being the Alpha and when I eventually become the Alpha, no one would dare talk bad about me.”
She scoffed. “You don’t get it, do you? As Alpha you would need the respect of your people and maybe not too much love but respect is needed.”
I was about to say something but i remained quiet and thought it through.
“Can’t you see the love Aiden receives?”
“I don’t care!!” I growled, smashing the glass in my hand.
“Yes, you do” She said. “If you didn’t, you wouldn’t get so mad whenever any one talks about your brother.”
“He is not my brother,” I snapped. “He is a f*****g bastard!”
“A bastard but yet he is loved by his people,” She said.
My blood was rising so much that I couldn’t control myself anymore.
“All my life, I have trained and prepared myself for this moment when I would finally be chosen as the Alpha and I really don’t want to think about what people think about me right now.”
“But you have to before it gets too late.”
“What else do you want me to do?” I asked in frustration.
“I want you to get the same love and respect that Aiden gets.”
“But I don’t want to be Aiden, I want to be me because I know that I am better than him.” I said. “Or don’t you think so?”
She nodded and held my hands. “I know and that’s why I want everyone to know what I know and see what I see in you.”
I nodded my head as I let her words sink in to calm my anger.
“So what do I do?” I asked.
She took in a deep breath. “I want to you to possess Aiden’s gift.”
“What do you mean?”
Her face broke into a broad smile. “The blessed wolf, I want you to have her.”
I blinked my eyes in confusion. “I still don’t understand.”
She sneered. “We both know that Aiden is too weak to have a s*x slave, he’d reject her and then she would be free for you to possess.”
“And why would I want a slave and an outcast?”
“Because she is the blessed wolf.”
I scoffed. “I don’t believe that nonsense.”
“You better do!” She snapped. “Believe me, that girl is the key to your success. Legend has it that whosoever possesses the Blessed one would have all he desires.”
I was silent now and contemplating.
“But…” I began.
“But nothing.” Mother said. “All you have to do is to go there right away and mate with her.”
“That simple?” I asked.
She shrugged her shoulders and laughed. “It can’t be too difficult.”
I laughed and shook my head. “You’re one cunny lady.”
“I didn’t get to this position without some tricks, you know?”
“Of course,” I teased.
She drank up her glass and made her way to the door.
“Make sure you go there with a gift, something to calm the poor girl as I am sure she must be more than terrified.”
“Something like what?”
“I don’t know, maybe a dress to get her out those clothes she has been wearing for weeks.” She advised.
I was about to shut the door when she turned around and said in a whisper.
“Also, you have to quit taking drugs okay?” I could see the disappointment in her eyes despite her attempt to conceal it. “I don’t want anyone to know that you’re still using.”
I nodded in slight embarrassment. “Sure,”
She patted my shoulders and offered me a genuine smile before walking away.
After watching her leave, I closed the door and rested my head back.
Taking in a deep breath, I averted my mind from the shame of being caught using drugs and thought about the blessed wolf.
Could she actually grant me my heart desires?
