Hybrid's Twin Mates

Finalizing the Adoption

                  (Cyrena Pov)

    I woke up to Ruby jumping up and down on the bed and groaned, Ruby smiled down at me and said, "Wake up, it's morning." I let out a laugh and replied, "Okay I'm up." I sat up in bed and looked down noticing that both my mates were still asleep. I smiled at Ruby and said, "Ruby sweetheart do you want to help me wake these lazy butts up?" She smiled and nodded her head, I smiled back at her and said, "Okay, on the count of three we both are gonna scream, Wake Up as loud as we can." She nodded down and I started to count, when I got to the number 3 we both screamed, "Wake Up!" Zander bolted up in the bed while Zayne fell out of the bed and landed on his butt. Ruby and I both started cracking up until I saw the look on my mates faces, I turned to Ruby and said, "Now would be a good time to run." We both bolted out of the bed, out the door and down the stairs with my mates chasing after us. When we got to the bottom of the stairs I was lifted up into strong arms and by the scent I knew it was Zayne, I looked over and saw Zander grab Ruby in his arm and spun her around making her laugh. Zayne held me tighter and said, "That wasn't very nice girls." Zander nodded in agreement and said, "Now how should we get our revenge?" 

   Zayne said, "I know, I think a visit from the tickle monster should do the trick." They took us into the living room and placed  us on the couch then started to tickle us. Ruby and I started laughing and trying to get away from them but it was no use, they had won this round. "Okay, we give up you win, no more please!" They stopped tickling us and looked down at us with victorious faces, just then Ruby said, "I'm hungry." I nodded my head feeling hungry myself and said, "Then I guess it's time to get some breakfast." Zander picked Ruby up while Zayne took my hand in his and we made our way into the kitchen for some breakfast. We were right on time because breakfast was ready by the time we got there, Ruby shouted, "Yay Waffles! my favorite." We all smiled at her cuteness before grabbing our food and sitting down to eat, Zayne sat next to me while Ruby sat on the other side of me and Zander sat next to her. Ruby did a little happy dance in her seat after she took the first bite of her waffles making us all laugh.

         (Zayne Pov)

     After breakfast Ruby wanted to go play outside so Cyrena took her out to play while Zander and I went to go find Ryan to get started on finalizing Ruby's adoption and to ask about any unoccupied houses on the property. We went up to Ryan's office and knocked on the door, he said, "Come in." and we opened the door and entered the room. Ryan smiled at us and said, "Hey guys, you here to finalize the adoption?" I nodded and said, "That and we also wanted to know if there are any unoccupied houses the four of us could move into here." Ryan nodded his head and said, "There are a few on the property that are unoccupied, but before we get into that we should fill out this paper work to finalize the adoption. Where are Ruby and Cyrena?" Zander replied, "Ruby wanted to play outside so Cyrena took her." Ryan smiled and said, "Well we can get started with the paper work and then just get her signature when its ready, and then I can show you some of the unoccupied houses and you can pick which one you like best." I nodded my head and Zander and I sat down to start on the paper work.

     Less than an hour later we were done with the paper work, all that it needed now was Cyrena's signature. The three of us went out to the back yard to find Ruby and Cyrena, we found them playing tag with some of the other pups. Cyrena looked over at us and we gestured for her to come over, she said something to the pups before taking Ruby's hand and making her way over to us. Ryan smiled at them and said, "Good morning Cyrena and Ruby, we have the adoption paperwork all filled out and all we need is your signature Cyrena." He handed Cyrena the pen and she signed the paper with a smile on her face then Ryan said, "Congratulations, you are now parents. The boys said you were interested in living on the property so I was thinking I could show you guys some of the houses that are currently unoccupied and you can pick your favorite." Cyrena smiled and said, "Sounds good to me." Ryan smiled and said, "Great, so if you all would follow me we can get started."

              (Zander Pov)

       We followed Ryan as he showed us the unoccupied homes, the first one we saw was a four bedroom three bathroom. It was a nice house, the outside was painted a light mint green and the inside had cream colored walls and hardwood floor. The second house had a white picket fence, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and living room and room for a garden out back. The outside of the house was painted tan and the inside was a warm peach color. The last house was a three bedroom three bath, the outside was painted a light blue and the inside was an off-white color. Ryan turned to us and asked, "So do you know which one you want, I could start the paper work and get you the keys in about an hour." Zayne and I looked to Cyrena and she said, "I really liked the second one with the white picket fence." I nodded in agreement and Zayne said, "I liked that one the best too." Ryan smiled and said, "Okay, give me an hour and I will get those keys for you and you can start moving in whenever you are ready." Ryan left to get started on getting us those keys and I looked over at the girl and said, "Well we have some time to kill, what do you girls wanna do." Ruby jumped up and down and said, "Can we watch a movie?" Zayne picked her up in his arms and said, "Of course we can sweetheart." I grabbed Cyrena's hand and we followed Zayne and Ruby back to the pack house.

    There was no one in the living room so we decided to watch the movie there, I started up Netflix and said, "Okay, what should we watch?" Ruby smiled and asked, "Can we watch Up." I nodded and said, "Up it is." We all cuddled up on the couch as the movie started to play. For a children's movie it was actually pretty interesting even though the begging was a little bit sad it definitely got better, the talking dog was pretty funny. I looked down at my little family that was focused on the tv with a smile on my face, I don't know how I got so lucky but I am very happy the way things turned out. We may have just met Ruby but it seems like she was meant to be our daughter, I already love her like my own child. I know Cyrena is going to be an amazing mother and I can't wait to grow our family.
