Chapter 18

Victoria’s mother still cannot believe what she just heard from her daughter. It’s shocking. Why didn't she know this side of her daughter?

“I have been this way even when I was in highschool. I don’t want to disappoint you and Dad. I tried my best to avoid it, Mom but this is me.” She’s full of confidence while she’s telling her. She has no slight feeling of regret opening to her mother. If she accepts it or not, it’s up to her now. She needs someone to listen to her, she needs a friend and most specially a mother.

Her mother holds her head between her hands. How does her daughter become like this? But she also felt sorry for her. For all those years, she struggled alone. She fought her battle alone.

“And I am miserable right now, Mom. I need help. I cannot do this alone. I am drowned with sadness.” A tear fell from her eyes. She inhaled deeply and continued.. “I don’t know what to do. I cannot move on.”

Her mother got up from her seat and went near hee. She hugged her from behind. She wants her to feel that she has her, her mother.

“I know you are a strong woman. You can handle this. I know you can overcome all of this. Just be strong, Victoria.” The words she can give to make her feel better. Even her doesn’t know what to say.

After crying and tears falling, Victoria told her first heartbreak. From a woman named Sarah.

Few years back. In college. Victoria fell in love with the woman named Sarah Lee. She’s her school mate. She’s one of the known names in their school. She’s funny, caring, sweet and also very nice. When you get close to her, it seems like you are also a household name in school. She is a out lesbian. She loves wearing Jackets and pants. Her long hair is always in a messy bun. With her height of five feet and eight inches, long hair and a slim body, you don’t expect it.

She first talks to Sarah when she’s walking up the stairs to her next class.

“What’s your name?” She asked Victoria while she’s beside her, also walking up the stairs. Victoria is shocked.

“Victoria.” She answered shortly and continued walking.

Sarah walked up faster and reached the last step first. She stood there and waited for Victoria. Before Victoria could reach the last step she stopped her and stretched her arm.

“Nice to meet you, Victoria. My name is Sarah.” She said. Victoria stopped and gently reached her hand for a hand shake.

At that moment, Victoria felt comfortable with her. They are seen together. For lunch, for breaks, and going home. Victoria would drop her to their house because it’s on their way home too. Their schoolmates have been saying that they are together as a couple. Sarah’s sexuality is not a secret to Victoria’s knowledge.

Sarah is a sweet person and she does what it takes to protect Victoria from other people. She made sure that Victoria is happy and she is proud to hold her hands even when people are looking. Even though they are not a couple yet, Sarah seems to have claimed it. But Victoria is very cautious. She knew that if this gets to her parents, she will surely be in trouble. So everytime Sarah holds her, she tries to brush it off.

Because of that, Sarah felt insulted. One day, she talked to Victoria and made things clear between them.

“You know that I like you and I love you.” Sarah told her. She looked at her in her eyes and held her hand. You can see the sincerity in her eyes. “I want to know how you feel for me.” She added.

Victoria squeezed Sarah’s hand. “I feel comfortable with you and you are so nice to me. But you know that I can’t be out there with you. I can’t be like you who is very proud to be with me.” She explained.

“But do you love me?” She set the question straight.

“Yes!” She answered directly too without even blinking. “But I can’t be out, Sarah. My parents are going to kill me.”

“I know. What’s important to me is that I know that you love me too. So you are my girlfriend now.” Happy Sarah, she hugged her.

“Yes, I am!” Victoria is full of joy. She didn’t think about the consequences of what she was doing.

From that day, Sarah became more showy than ever. She could hold her hand or steal a kiss from her if they are alone. All of Sarah’s friends know about their relationship. But Victoria is as careful as before. She tries to distance herself from Sarah in public.

Sarah doesn’t mind about it as long as if they are together, they can be a couple. Their relationship lasted for three months and they are still happy together. There are times they have their down times but Victoria always makes things better. She loves her so much and she doesn’t want Sarah to get angry at her or she doesn't want her to be angry too.

While they are in the library. Sarah pulled her where there was no CCTV.

“Why? What’s happening?” She asked her in shock. She’s wondering what is going on. She pinned her on the wall.

“Wait. Wait. Sarah, what’s happening?” She asked again. She never did this to her. Sarah gave her a smile and started kissing her. “Wait.” She tried to stop her again but that kiss drowned her and forgets about where they are. Sarah started to travel her hand under Victoria’s uniform. It tickles her most especially when she touches her virgin breast. She softly bit her lips and let out a soft moan when Sarah grasped it. Her body is against her and she’s feeling the heat. Her lips owned her. Suddenly, Sarah stopped.

“Can we go somewhere later?” She whispered.

Victoria hit her on the shoulder. It’s like she played with her feelings at that time. “You’re so mean!” She smiled.

Sarah kissed her on the lips. “Sorry. We will continue later.” She’s grinning while she tries to fix Victoria’s uniform.

They went out of that corner like nothing happened. But Victoria’s heart is pounding with excitement. It’s her first time being kissed and being touched by someone. It feels good for her and she felt down there between her legs the sensation of what they did.

Before their class ended, Sarah reminded her again. But the problem is how will Victoria escape from her driver. Sarah told her to tell the driver to wait in a coffee shop near the school because they have to do something for a while. Victoria agreed.

The last class for the day has ended. Time to go home. When the driver came, Victoria told him what Sarah told her to tell the driver. At first, the driver is skeptical about it. Victoria gave him $50 for his food while waiting. He agreed and told her to call him after. And he also told her that he will tell her parents something else because he knows that she will get in trouble if they knew about it.

Sarah and Victoria left. There is a nearby hotel, walking distance from their school. Sarah already booked a room in advance. At first, Victoria is not sure if she’s ready for it. She’s scared of the consequences of what they will do.

Upon reaching the room at level three, Victoria stopped. She holds Sarah’s hand.

“We can go back if you don’t like it.” Sarah told her. She felt the coldness in Victoria’s hands.

Victoria let out a deep sigh. “We are already here.” She answered.

They open the door at room 15. The room is dark but cold from the aircon. A smell of vanilla scented candle filled the room. Sarah didn’t waste any time. She did what she wanted with Victoria, and Victoria agreed to it.

After nearly an hour, they left the hotel room like nothing happened. The smile on Sarah’s face is unexplainable. A smile of success.
