Chapter 10

It’s already 6am. Right after Victoria woke up in the morning, she found Cedrick beside her still sleeping. He looks tired from yesterday. He tried not to wake Victoria when he came home from work but she’s so alert. He told her to go back to sleep and kissed her goodnight.

Now, it’s her turn to try not to wake him up. She slowly got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom. She washed her face and brushed her teeth. And then went out of the room to have a coffee. She starts the Nespresso machine and then puts the capsule inside it. Pressed the longgo button. While the coffee is being made, she stands there at the counter with her long messy hair down and her lacy nightgown.

Cedrick gifted her that nightgown and she also loves it because it is comfy. The coffee machine is finished. She picked up the glass of coffee and went straight to the dining table. She opens her computer and starts to read some work stuff and checks her schedule.

She has a busy day again today. Some meetings with their investors and also with her father. She sighs when she reads about the meeting with her father. As much as possible, she doesn’t want to meet her father frequently. He makes her nervous every time.

She nearly finished her coffee when suddenly she felt a kiss on her head. It was Cedrick.

“Good morning.” He greeted her.

“Hey! Hon. You’re awake. Good morning.” She tilted her head to look at him. Still in his boxer shorts and with his messy hair. Even though his hair is messy and just woke up, he is handsome. “You want some coffee?”

“Yes, please.” He answers while he sits beside hers.

She walks to the kitchen to make coffee.

“How’s your sleep?”

“It was good.” He shortly answers. It was silence when Victoria realized he was looking at her from the dining table.

“Why?” She asked shyly. He grinned.

“You look sexy with that night gown.” He grins and slowly walks to her.

“Cedrick!” Victoria knows what he is going to do.

He hugs her and sniffs her on her neck. “And you smell great even in the morning.” He naughtily murmurs.

“Cedrick, stop.”

“Make me.” He whispers while he keeps on sniffing and kissing her in her neck and her lips.

“We are going to be late for wo-“ she tries to stop him but he shuts her up by kissing her deep on her lips. Victoria can’t do anything anymore because she likes what her husband is doing.

She answers his kiss and wraps her arms around her. She can feel the erection from his boxers while he is against her body. He slid his clever hand in her nightgown. It seems like that hand knows where to touch. Victoria moans every time his hand grasps part of her body. She can feel herself wanting more. If he has a clever hand, she also has a hand that can answer him. She slowly touches him down there. His erection even greater. She cupped his erection in her hand. Cedrick likes it. He pushes her against the wall and pins her. He goes down to her sensitive part between her thighs.

He first pulled her underwear down to have a clear view of it. He touches it with his middle finger. He feels the wetness of her. Victoria gasps.

“Cedrick,” She murmurs while he tries to open her legs. A deep moan is released when his mouth touches her c**t. He plays his mouth and tongue in her that makes her crazy. Her moans. She seems like going crazy because of that. Cedrick knows and even feels in himself how Victoria loves it. He drags his mouth up to hers while pulling his boxers down. Their lips sealed again and his erection went in her. She clings to his shoulder while he slowly pumps in. The sensation drowns them even more. Victoria moans hard and he too when they come together.

“I love you.” Cedrick whispers in her ear while still panting.

“I love you too.” She answers, and laughs. “Okay, I think we need to be ready for work.”

“Yes!”

They both laugh.

After getting ready to work, Cedrick speaks.

“Can we have a baby?”

Victoria stops. She looks at him. “Are you sure?”

“Of course! I want to have babies with you and have a complete family.”

She walks to him. “If God give us, then we will thank him.”

He hugs her.

“Okay, i really need to go to work, Hon.”

“I will see you tonight.”

She kissed him goodbye and then left. She’s smiling while she’s driving to her work. Now she knows in her heart that she doesn’t regret marrying him. Even at first, she thought she would not love that guy. But Cedrick is not hard to love. He made sure that she is comfortable, loved and respected. And she has a voice not like if she is with her parents.

Her meetings for the whole morning went great. The sales of the company went high and with the new wine being launched, it gives them a better stand in the wine business.

While she was busy sorting things on her computer, her office intercom rang.

“Yes?”

“The meeting with your father will be in ten minutes.” Her secretary.

“Okay. Thank you!” She gathered herself. This meeting is sudden because he only told her yesterday. She doesn’t know what the meeting will be about. She is in deep thought when her phone sounds. A message

“Hello Victoria. How are you? Are you free today?” It was Helena.

She smiled.

“I’m not sure. I will check my schedule then I will let you know.”

She asked her secretary from the intercom if she had other meetings after his dad. And she said no.

“Okay. I am free after the meeting with my father. Lunch?” She told Helena.

“Great! I will message you the place.”

She got the message of the restaurant they are going to. And then, she rushed to her father’s office on the tenth floor of the building. She knocked first before entering.

“Dad.”

“Come. Come. Sit.” He pointed at the sofa to her right. She went straight there and sat. “How are things going down there?

“Everything is fine, Dad. I had a meeting with the investors and other staff to check things. I guess, launching a new wine makes us attract more investors.” She answered.

“That’s great! How about your marriage?”

Victoria is suddenly curious on why for the first time, he asks about her personal life.

“Getting better.” She shortly answered.

“Is Cedrick treating you well?”

“Yes, Dad.”

“Then, I am not wrong in making you marry him. Am I right?”

She looked at him but didn’t answer. Until now, she doesn’t like how she made her get married. How he threatened her but on the other hand, it gives her the opportunity to know Cedrick and to see how good of a person he is.

“Yes, Dad.

“I am thinking, what if you have kids now?”

“We already talked about that.”

“Well then, it seems like your husband is listening to me. I thought he is not yet ready for that responsibility.”

“What do you mean?”

“I talked to him about that. But he told me he is not ready yet for that big responsibility but I guess he knows how to listen.”

Victoria felt anxious. That is why, all of a sudden, Cedrick talks about having a baby. So, it is not him who decides for them but still his Dad.

“Dad! You don’t have to do that! If he is not ready then don’t force him.” She stood up.

“Victoria!” He yelled at her. Victoria lowered his face in shock. She always gets frightened if her father shouts at her. It’s like a phobia to her. “I am doing this for you! He agreed, so why are you complaining?”

“But why?”

“So he will not have a choice. He won’t leave you and all their wealth will be for you and your baby.”

Victoria sighs and shakes her head.

“You don’t have to do that. I know that Cedrick loves me and we don’t need his money because we already have. And I am not going to have a child just because of money, Dad.”

“Don’t be stupid! Just do what I say! Have a baby! That’s it!” His voice becomes high again.

“Okay.” Replied Victoria to make the conversation stop.

She left there very angry. Why? Why does he have to meddle in her life all the time? And why did Cedrick allow that thing? She is angry at her father and also at Cedrick.
