She hadn't expected them to end up at a hotel. She must have mistaken his words when he said a place they won't find us.
"Uhmm...Kyle. A hotel is not what exactly you would call a safe or private space." she muttered as he drove into the underground parking lot.
"Oh, I meant what I said. Come, you'll see." he walked towards the elevator doors, pressing on the button it clicked opened and they got inside.
"Why here of all places?" she asked.
"For one, This is the safest place for you right now because the council can't trace you here. I've set up a system that causes a malfunction when they try to track your location to this place." He began explaining and the door slide opened.
