A date with the devil

Jason had just had a busy and was almost closing his shift when a couple walked into the restaurant. It was around 9.30pm at night. He sat them at a table close to the television when the gentleman ordered a beer before he could take their orders. As fast as he could, he brought his beer and opened it for him as he leaned in to take their order. Before the lady said a word to Jason, they were interrupted by a guy who seemed drunk. Jason was courteous enough to excuse himself that he would be with him within a minute as he was taking an order. He obliged and walked a few feet before he interrupted them once again. The gentleman was beggining to get agitated and so Jason had to brush off the drunk guy in a decent way and sent him to the barman so he could get his order. Once the interruptions were over he went ahead an took their orders and walked away from their table. The drunk guy had walked to the bar counter and placed his order. As Jason was walking by, Steve the bartender called on him to assist the guest to a table. The guest proceeded to a table close to the window and placed his jacket on the table as if it was a table cloth. Jason followed him closely with a tray with his order of two cold cokes and a bottle of 750ml smirnoff with two glasses. He expected the guest to move the jacket for him to place his order on the table but he was reluctant and just stared at him. Jason just picked one bottle of coke and moved the jacket towards one side of the table with it and placed the order on the table. As he turned to walk away, the guest asked him if there was a place he could listen to music as he enjoyed his drink. He told him the only place he could enjoy music was outside and the guest asked him to shift him once again. He picked the drinks and glasses and proceeded outside. The guest asked told him the music sucked and the system could connect to bluetooth. Jason said, "yea, the system can play bluetooth but it's not close for you to connect." The guest insisted that he wanted to connect to bluetooth. " I don't care how far the place is, but if you take me there, I wouldn't mind" he insisted. Jason replied, " Let's do this, tell me what genre of music you would want to listen to since you are the only one interested in music at this particular hour." The guest said, " Surprise me, whatever kind of music that you enjoy I won't mind listening to it as long as you stop playing this trash we are listening to at this particular minute." Jason obliged and excused himself as he contemplated on the kind of music he was going to play for the guest to approve of and enjoy. He settled so some afro beats on which he played through his phone as he connected to bluetooth. His supervisor asked him what he was up to and he explained the guest's request and he okayed it as long as he didn't play it loud since it was almost curfew time. Since covid-19 had creeped in, the government had put in control measures to reduce the spread and the 10pm curfew was one of the measures.
