When Two Beasts Fell in Love

Chapter 21

Everyone was so excited. They couldn’t wait for the inauguration of their new Alpha. For them, she is the best Alpha they can have. 

That was their topic from day to night. They were all happy to hear it. Not only they will get strong, but they also know that they will be in good hands. 

Even at dinner, every family will talk about it. There was no negativity but all about what she did for them and how she helped them when they were in need. But above all of it, how she accepted them and gave them a home anyone wished to have. 

White Fang Pack is a wanted pack anyone wants to live in. Everyone has their freedom and they get an equal right. 

While everyone was busy, Angelique's family was waiting for her. They were all looking outside, waiting for Angelique to come home. They were all anxious that maybe she did something that might hurt herself.  

But they didn’t know, Angelique was also looking at them outside their house. She was sitting on the branch of the tree. She saw how anxious they are while waiting for her. She was already there before the sun settled down, and she saw and heard how they discussed about her a while ago. 

She sighed. She couldn’t hide any longer. She needs to talk to them. They are her family now and their opinion is important to her. 

She swiftly jumped down and walked to their home. When the kids saw her, they were happy to know that she was fine, and seemed she already thought about the problem. 

“Kevin, prepare the table," Kimberly said. She knew that Angelique was already hungry since she only ate just this morning and never went home for lunch. It was already nine in the evening. For a werewolf, they will be hungry within just a few hours. They have a big appetite. 

“Have you all eaten?” Angelique asked them as she went inside. 

Pink stood up from her seat and jumped to Angelique that she easily caught. Pink kissed her cheeks as a greeting. Angelique was used to it, so she just caressed her hair. 

“Have you eaten?" she asked the small girl. Pink shook her head saying no. “Why?"

“We are waiting for you," she cutely said. 

Seeing the youngest member of her family like this, her doubt a while ago vanished. All she could think was to protect them. In order to do it, she has to step up. 

“Let’s eat then,” she said. 

They all followed and sat down on their chair. No one spoke and the only noise that could be heard was the clicking of the utensils. 

“How’s school?" Angelique broke the silence. They all looked at each other who will answer their sister first. 

“We all got the highest grade in our class. Our teacher always likes us,” Pink answered for them with a smile on her face. 

“That’s good to know then. No bully?” she asked again that irritated Kimberly. She was changing the topic intentionally. 

“That’s not what we want to talk about! We want to know is that, why did you run away?” No one spoke as they looked at Angelique and waited for what she would say. But Angelique kept on eating and she thought she wouldn't answer them. “Speak to us!" Kimberly demanded. 

Angelique sighed and looked at them. “I have to think too. Being an Alpha is not just a game that if you can’t play it right you can leave it. Being an Alpha also brings a heavy and great responsibility. I have to think about it and do not make a drastic move that might put you all in danger. The enemy called me a beast, so what if I hurt you all? Maybe I am in control now, but what if I became an Alpha and my werewolf will take over because of that great power? I don’t know yet, so I go and have to think. Everything we did, we should know the pros and cons of it before deciding,” she explained to them that really made them sad. What Angelique did was for them but she doubted her. She is their sister but they’re the ones who judged her, that she was running away from responsibility. 

They realized that they did wrong and she was right. The title Alpha got inside their head. What their sister was afraid about happened to them. 

“I am sorry,” they said. Angelique just looked at them and kept on eating. 

“But are you taking the position? Everyone agreed to have you as an Alpha and they’re excited about it. We all know, you will be a great Alpha or leader.” Clark joined the conversation as he ate his food. They got their utensils back and ate with their big sister. 

“I want to ask your opinions. Do you want me to take the position?” She looked at them and waited for their answer. They were astonished because their big sister asked for their opinion. 

“But we are just teenagers." It’s Hanzel. 

“Yeah, I know. But you are my family. I have to make a decision with our family, not only by myself. I can not do it by myself, I also need your advice.” They were grateful that she thought about them first before anything. She is a big sister anyone wanted to have, but how much more being an Alpha? 

“For me, you can take the position. You already proved to them what you can do. Also, they believe in you," Clark spoke what’s in his mind. 

“Me too. There’s no problem since everyone loves our big sister,” Pink said, which made them laugh. 

“Yeah, and wanted to conquer her heart," seconded Kevin. It made Angelique confused. She was naive and didn’t know what the girls thought about her, and she never cared. The woman she only thought was her mate. 

“Okay. Stop that!” Kimberly stopped them. “For me, you have to take it. It was really destined to be yours. In one of our classes, we studied witchcraft and I saw how to talk to the Goddess. She only said two words, Angelique and Alpha. So, I assumed you should be an Alpha of this pack.” They all agreed. 

Angelique stopped for a while and looked at them. What Kimberly has said was true. When she took a nap a while ago, the Goddess gave her the same message. But what if it is the opposite? 

She didn't know anymore. But if she wouldn’t take it, she will not know what will happen. 

“Okay, I will take it.” They all smiled. They were happy for her and excited about having a great Alpha. 

But still, these five teenagers, wishing to see their family. After all, they were still their family. 

“One more thing," they all waited for what she will say. “I found my mate.”

In the morning, Serio knew about her decision. So he prepared for her inauguration. This ceremony is the offering of a new Alpha to the Moon Goddess. 

The full moon will happen later, the right time for the inauguration of Alpha. A time for them to come together. 

Everyone helped with the preparation. They all helped each other just to make this ceremony a great one. 

They chose a place near the forest. They also put some bonfire and a long table for their food. They also made a small stage so everyone could see. Everything was perfect. 

The full moon will come out at eight in the evening. Angelique has plenty of time to do anything. But she chose to rest. 

She was still asleep when her siblings left her to help. She hasn't woken up yet because of her dream. 

In her dream, a woman in a white dress with blonde hair and golden eyes was dancing while seductively looking at her. Her small Lily came to life just by seeing her mate. She really has control over her. 

But it was stopped and someone knocked on her door. She became grumpy because she was interrupted in her dream. 

She still had the morning wood, she couldn’t come out like that. So she felt who it was. 

She felt that it was a woman and she could smelt something disgusting. Not because she is disgusting but her lust was disgusting. 

She never cared and laid down again. The woman outside kept on knocking but Angelique didn’t have the mood to talk to anyone. 

She closed her eyes again. Wishing her dream will come back. 

The night came so fast. Everyone was ready. 

“Good evening, everyone!” Serio greeted them. “Now, let's put our blood in this cup.” 

Serio put his blood first then Conor followed. One by one, they put a drop of their blood in the bowl. They were all willing to do it. 

When all was done, the bowl got back to Serio. Serio kneeled down while facing the shining moon. He whispered some prayer then he looked at Angelique. She nodded and put her own blood on the bowl. 

Serio murmured again. The wind blows brought chill to them, a good chill. They all smiled as they looked at the moon. 

Under the blessing of the moon, the blood on the water became white like wine. This means, the moon approved and accepted them. 

Serio stood up and faced the pack. “Kneel,” Serio said to Angelique, and she followed. Serio murmured again and gave her the bowl. “Take a sip." She did take a sip then slowly she felt something was changing. She could hear everyone's thoughts, so she blocked them first. 

Then he got the bowl with the remaining blood. He poured it on Angelique’s head, still murmuring some ritual. 

They all looked up at the moon and howled. It was so beautiful. They were in unison with different tones. A great symphony. 

Serio let Angelique stand up. She faced them, radiating all her authority. They all admired how beautiful she is. Her strong physical, her beauty, and her aura made her beautiful. 

“Now, I present to you, our Alpha. Angelique Guerrero.” They didn’t clap but instead kneeled down with their right hand on their heart. It indicated that they all accept her as their Alpha and ready to follow her every command. 

“Our pack name will be, White Blood Pack. White for the name of this place, this is where we all start and for acknowledging them, blood because we came from different races, and pack because we come together.” Everyone looked at them and nodded to each other. 

“Long live, Alpha! Long live, White Blood Pack!” they said in unison, repeatedly. It warmed Angelique's hearts. 

She looked at the moon and howled, and everyone followed. Slowly they transformed into their werewolf form. They were amazed by the strength they possess now. It was much greater than their old pack. It just saw that their old pack was not that strong. 

But they all looked up to Angelique. She is the strongest to them all. She was standing on two legs, her snout was out the same with her claws, the hair all over her body colored black but thin, and the most mesmerizing was her eyes. The color is royal blue with a white dot in the center. Her eyes were unique. 

Angelique was the first one to run into the forest and they followed. They all howled that woke up all the animals in the forest. 

For the first time, they have their hunt with their Alpha. Even the kids were happy playing and eating with them. They were all happy hunting on their own land. 

When they were done, they got back to the stage. There, a set of desserts were on the table with their water and clothes. They all changed and ate the dessert while laughing. Angelique just looked at them. 

The girls were following her every move. The teenagers saw it so they were always at Angelique's side. 

They all had their fun. It was the happiest day of their life. 

A new life.
