Chiara’s New Pack (Blood Rose Stone Pack)
“How’s your training?” Chiara asked her Beta as she scanned the report about murder cases that were happening in other packs. It was killing her opponent, the Lycans. She didn’t know if she would be thankful or be cautious with whoever is the killer.
“Everyone is improving. Our men became good with their swords and women knew how to defend themselves. Their magic has been honed. Even kids are already oriented.” He informed her.
“That’s not enough,” she gave the report she gathered to him. “There is a worse enemy than the Lycans. But it was killing Lycans for now, but how about in the future? We cannot tell.” Chiara leaned on her chair and waited for them to read it.
The Beta and Delta saw how gruesome the scene was. They never thought someone could do this.
“Maybe a group of rogue did this. They’re the only ones who have the guts to do it and against the Lycans.” Delta Cross put down the information after reading it. This was just his hypothesis but it could be right.
“But we can take advantage of it. While someone is making them distracted, we can plan our next move.” Her Beta has the point so she nodded in agreement.
“Please, train them harder so we can proceed with our plan.” They all nodded in agreement and excused themselves.
Chiara looked at them as they walked out of her office. She sighed as she looked above then her gaze fell on her sister’s picture that was on her table. She took it and caressed it like it was her sister's real face.
“It’s been five years. I can still feel that you are alive, but I hope you are fine and that whoever has you will treat you nice. I will look for you after we regain our territory, our pack, our dignity. I will find you!” she said like she was talking to her sister.
This is what happened at the end of the day, every day. She talked to the only picture she has with her sister. The picture was the only remembrance she held in her heart. She didn't know what her sister looked like now, but for sure she is beautiful.
At first, their pack needed to strive more and be cautious because the Lycans were still after them. There were times that they were almost caught. They also needed to deceive them.
Every time they went home, they walked the other way to mislead them. This is their safe haven, and if they found out about it, it will be a big disaster. They will lose their home, again.
They always went out to get their food, so they should be careful every time. They also deployed some scouts in order to look out if there is an intruder.
So far, no pack has found them. All they did was to train their members, from children to elders, for their protection. They also planned to attack the Lycans, but their members and training were still not enough. But now that they were distracted, they have the chance.
“Hon, what are you thinking again?” A man with a big body, young, tan skin, but not that handsome walked in. Chiara's face grimaced when she saw him.
“What are you doing here?" she asked him, expressionless. She didn’t like this person even the slightest.
“What? I can not come to meet my fiancee?” he asked like it was a joke.
Christopher Suarez, her fiance because her people propelled her to give him a chance. Everyone knew that she was already mateless since her mate died the same day with her parents. Even the elders told her to be married and bear the next Rose because she is the only descendants remaining for them. She needs an heir.
But Chiara couldn’t condone being touched by this man. The man who always looked at her with lust every time there's no man around. She knew that he was just using her, to be an Alpha.
But she couldn’t do anything. Almost all the elders backed him up. Even being an Alpha, she felt like being a puppet. She just always thought that it was for the good of her people. She needed them, so even she couldn’t stand this man, she just swallowed her shame.
“What do you want?” she asked again. She really didn’t want to talk to her so she opened the papers and started to read to make herself busy.
“I have needs, Chiara.” On what she heard, she left her head and looked at him. Almost every day, Christopher pestered her with his so-called needs.
“So?” she said without any care. “Get that to other women like you always did. I don’t care, Christopher.” She really didn't care. He is a womanizer and the elders didn’t see it. He could hide his foul smell so well.
“You will regret this one day, Chiara. And when that day comes, you will be running back into my arms.” He smirked.
Chiara was not threatened, rather she was angry. She felt like he was challenging her. Being an Alpha, it was a threat to her authority.
“What are you doing, Christopher? Because in the first place, I don’t need you!” she said, emphasizing each word to convey to him that she was angry.
He raised her hands up, then he just smirked and stepped back. He knew when to provoke an Alpha. He didn’t say a word but walked out of the office. When he was out, he was full of range.
“I will get you, by hook or by crook. I will be the Alpha and you will follow me. Mark my word, Chiara. You will regret it!” Christopher said inside his head. Then he left with a new plan on his head.
While Chiara sat down on her chair, calming her wolf. She wanted to come out and kill the b*stard.
“I told you, don’t follow them. Now! He won’t let you go! Christopher is bad news for us. He is a b*stard and a f*cker!" Kiara scolded her. She knew she made a wrong choice, but this is for her pack.
“You know why I did it," she reasoned out. But she knew it was a lame excuse.
“How many times did I tell you? Do not use someone to forget her. And there’s nothing to forget because I can still feel her, Chiara. Our mate is still alive!” Kiara screamed but Chiara shook her head.
“No, Kiara. I saw how her house burned. I smelt her inside the house. I am sure she was dead.” Chiara didn’t want to hope again and lose in the end.
“Why won’t you believe me? I will never lie to you, Chiara.”
“What if she's still alive, but can she help us? What can a mere human do to help us with this war with Lycans? Is it good for our pack? Does our love make us survive? What will be our future?” she asked Kiara, who quieted down. “We will just put her life in danger. Not only her but also our family. We haven’t found our sister yet, and this war is still not finished. She will not have the life she deserves. Maybe, we are not meant in this lifetime.” Kiara could hear the sadness in her voice. She also felt how hurt she was. They are one, and they could feel one another.
“Can we take a break?" Kiara asked a favor. She needed fresh air. The sadness was suffocating them.
“Definitely, we need that.”
Chiara came out of her office. There was still sun up in the sky but not that bright that will hurt your skin.
She saw how the training was going on. She observed them and nodded when she saw they were doing right but didn’t say anything if not.
She saw Beta Brandon was training the elders. She didn't want to disturb him so she used their mind link.
“I'll just have a run. Please, take care of them.”
“Okay, Alpha,” he replied.
Chiara, without a sound, went out of the cave. She saw that everything was alright and safe. She transformed into her werewolf form and let Kiara take over.
The Blood Rose Stone Pack can transform themselves but their clothes still remain because of their magic. They only have a few sets of clothes and this is the only way they thought could help them.
Kiara ran everywhere. She just made sure that there were no traps and no werewolf nearby. They wanted to enjoy nature, to lessen their unstable emotions.
In the thick forest, a white wolf ran like a wind. It blew her fur and it was so good to feel. Kiara had fun running into the forest and stopped when she was tired already.
They felt calm after running so wild and he also felt thirsty. From a distance, a small river could be seen. Kiara smiled and let Chiara take over.
She changed to her human form and walked into the river. The river was so beautiful and peaceful. She liked the energy given by nature.
As she walked to the river, somehow, she felt that someone was watching her. Chiara made sure that she didn’t alarm whoever this person was. She couldn’t identify who it was because there was no scent. The person knew how to cover his/her scent well.
Slowly, she smelt something strange. She smelt it before on Christopher that made her puke. But now, it was different.
She felt something stir inside her. She experienced the heat she never felt before with just a scent emitted by the intruder. She never felt disgusted with it.
“Please, go to where that smell is coming from.” Kiara talked like she was in a daze. She understood while she was feeling this way.
But instead of following Kiara, she made another plan.
“Let’s see what he/she will do." She smirked after replying to Kiara.
Chiara slowly walked to the river, swaying her hips, making sure that the person saw her. She only wore a shirt and pants. She slowly lifted her shirt up, exposing her white skin. She made sure that the intruder saw it and found it sexy. She smirked when she smelt the arousal.
Kiara perked up. She was happy.
“Tease more," she said.
“I will, Kiara. Just wait. For sure, this person will come out. We will catch him/her.” Kiara nodded, agreeing with her.
She started to love teasing this person. She didn't know what she was doing but she liked to give that person more. She didn't know who it was but she felt safe and she wanted him/her.
Chiara caresses her exposed skin, showing her assets. From all the training she went through, her body became tone and sexy. Everyone admired her body and skin color. Even though she stayed under the light of the sun for more than an hour, her skin didn’t get dark. She really has a white complexion that women will be envious of.
She took her pants off and she only wore her panty. Her smooth legs were shown off to the intruder. The smell intensified but… it swiftly vanished when she saw a shadow walk in another direction.
Chiara ran to where the person was and didn’t see him/her there. She tried to catch up, even though she had no clothes on, but the intruder was faster than her. She couldn’t track where it went.
“Sh*t! Whoever that person is, he knows what he was doing,” she said while still catching her breath.
“Don’t worry. We still have next time. For sure, he will go back there. We will catch him that time.” Chiara agreed.
She walked back to the river, still remembering the scent they gave a chill to her back. For sure, it was a werewolf and no different than her.
For the first time, a small smile showed on Chiara’s lips with a promise inside her head.
“If in the future I catch you, I will never let you go.”
