EPISODE 3: DOWNFALL

"Just get in my car Jimm, I'll just drive you back here after our evening drinks" Says Tobias trying to convince Jimm that they should just use his car to drive to the local pub.

"I have my own car and I can just drive after

you why should I be your passenger?" Answered Jimm. "Just get in Jimm!

you know if I insist on something I won't stop right?" Tobias said while

dragging Jimm on the passenger's seat of his car. And right, Jimm wasn't

able to do anything.

How can an old man outpower the Captain right? Jimm just sighed and sat silently while Tobias start his car. "I have the evidence I need." Tobias said with a straight face while driving. "The evidence against Craig. This is solid Jimm. I'm ready to submit this anytime." He followed.

"Well you know that this isn't the right time for that right?" Jimm answered.

"Yeah, and I need evidence against Tom too." Tobias said. "With all the things I know you're right with, that part is the most confusing. I know the

guy's an asshole, but I think he's not a part of this Tobias." Jimm said while

turning his head to him. Tobias did not answer and instead he said that

"what if I tell you I did not kill a single person in that plane? Would you believe me Jimm?". Jimm laughed and said "did you really have to say

that? With all the secrets surrounding that plane, that's the most obvious

part." Tobias kept the straight face and drove silently that point on. Minutes passed they arrive at the local pub. The scene was very normal. Bearded drunk dads were all over the place.

There were women asking "do you need help?" In a very sexy tone. And alcohol of course is everywhere.

Jimm and Tobias went straight to the bar and ordered two glasses of whiskey.

"So what is this all about Tobias?" Asked Jimm. "It's about me

telling you what really happened on that plane." Answered Tobias. "Mer

Valkovsky shot the other 4 hijackers Jimm. After he shot them he took off their masks as if he was inspecting who were the men behind them."

"But I thought they were a group? Isn't it strange he doesn't know his own men?"

Answered Jimm. "Yeah he actually cried when he saw that the 3 out of 4 men were actually his men.

At first I thought it was an overreaction but I

realized important members of the Leonè family actually treated each other

as if they were a real family." Jimm said "3 out of 4?". "Yeah he said that the other 1 was a complete stranger, not even a part of the Leonè family.

After that he shot the whole plane. But he said I shouldn't worry because he will never shoot me as I am too important to die there." "I'm guessing that's to make it as if a fight happened right." Jimm said silently. "Yeah, two more

here please" Tobias said since both of their glasses were already empty.

"What happened after that?" Jimm asked. "Valkovsky said they were forced to do the h****k by a guy named Black. That this guy was actually hearing

our conversation while we're on that plane. That he is instructed to tell me

the things he'll say."

"I asked why he had to shoot the other 4, he answered he needed to check and gamble that Black is maybe one of the 4." He continued. "So is black the other guy he didn't know?" Jimm asked.

"Valkovsky said no. I asked why he just said he knows that it's not him." Answered Tobias. "So Valkovsky knows who Black is, it's just that he isn't allowed to say it since he can hear what is happening inside the plane for

some reason." Jimm said. "Yeah then he told me a long story.

The story of

what happened the night the Leonè Family disappeared. He told me that

Black was the one who did it. Just one guy. He killed everyone in that mansion with a security comparable to the white house." Tobias told Jimm.

"He also told me that the Leonè Family did not disappear, they were burned. Every single one of them." He continued. "What? How did he

know?" Jimm asked. "Valkovsky said that after what happened that night,

he assembled his elite mercenary to find Black and also to regain control of

Mersham by killing other gang and mafia leaders in the city.

And they were able to regain the land they lost after that bloody night. So they were inspecting some assets left by the family including warehouses. They were shocked when they realized almost all warehouses of the family were

burned, except one. And when they went to that remaining warehouse he

was haunted with what he saw." Tobias said. "What did he saw?" Asked

Jimm.

"Urns, almost 100 urns with the names of all the Leonè family members written on it. It was the ashes of all the family members who were missing. After they examined it they buried it in one of the vacant lots

owned by the family. But you know Jimm while he was saying the story to

me something bothered me the most." Then he continued "all of the Leonè family members are trained assassins Jimm. Plus a security that tight? It

should be impossible to be done by a single outsider right." Jimm smirked,

"Inside job?". "Yeah that's what I was thinking at that point and the final

thing Valkovsky said to me before he died solidified my theory." "What is

it?" Asked Jimm. "I asked Valkovsky if he knows why that warehouse was the only warehouse left unburned. He just smirked and said he knows

someone they met because of that warehouse.

I asked who and he just

said Steve, the heir of Leonè family." "There was never an heir after Marco,

Tobias, all of us knew that." Jimm said. "Yeah that's what I said too, he just answered me "that's what all of you outside of the family knows" and then after that he did what he did Jimm.

He asked if he can borrow my katana.

For some reason I did give it to him. After that he sliced his own gut in front of me. I was too stunned to stop him. The only thing I was able to do is to ask why. He said its because he said too much. Then the rest is history Jimm. I am not the hero of that incident. I was an audience to a story I do not know why I should know."

By this time they had 10 glasses in front of them already. Both of them are dead silent after what Tobias confessed.

Jimm tapped his shoulder and said "With that Tobias I believe that this story should stay between the two of us. I'm giving you a time off. Go to

Mersham or wherever you want. I know you will investigate this yourself even if I tell you to just drop this one.

I believe there is a reason as to why

you should be the audience of that show. Go find the answer to that and I'll cover your tracks for you." They finished the night after that and Tobias

drove Jimm back to the headquarters first before driving back home.

He was a little tipsy but not drunk so he knows he can manage to drive. After a while he arrives at his home. He stayed a few minutes on the steering

wheel still thinking of what really happened before he decided to go to bed.

He went in straight for the shower to cool off before going to sleep.

He was surprised to see Emilia in his room. Emilia blushed and quickly turned around as she saw Tobias with just his towel on since he just finished

taking a shower. "What the hell are you wearing Tob?" Emilia shouted.

"You're the one here mysteriously in my room Em what are you a ninja? My door was still locked when I got in." Tobias said while laughing. "Whatever just get dressed I'll wait for you outside. And I'm hungry by the way, make

me a sandwich after you dress up." Then Emilia went downstairs after saying that.

Tobias just sighed and went on to dress before going

downstairs and making some mac and cheese and garlic bread for the both of them. He served it in his living room where Emilia is sitting on the couch waiting for him. They just ate quietly there without much talking until Emilia broke the ice.

"I'll get straight to the point. I'll come with you in Mersham."

Tobias nearly spitted out the food currently in his mouth and just stared at

Emilia. "It's impossible, Jimm told her'' he thought to himself. "Jimm didn't tell me don't worry." Emilia followed. "Then how did you know?" Asked

Tobias.

"I heard everything Tob. I heard your conversation in the car and in the pub. All of it. Valkovsky story. Everything." She answered.
