EPISODE 2: BLACK

Mersham City has the reputation of being called the crime or sin city. And it actually lives up to its very self explanatory nickname. Murders are sky high, robberies are normal, r**e cases and car stealing are happening

almost everyday.

The Mersham City Police Department often says that this is a product of poverty. The city government serves themselves, police

generals of the city are tied to mafias. Justice is actually not visible in any

part of the city. And on top of everything, this city is where the Leonè Mafia operates. You can actually say they are a crime family with chivalry.

They robbed big banks and scattered half of the money on the streets. But don't get the wrong idea, they are not good people. They killed everyone who

opposed them.

They kidn*pped beautiful girls in the city and made some of them their own s*x slaves and some of them were used in human

trafficking.

They had high government officials and police generals of the city backing them up because of bribes and blackmails. For 100 years no one had the bravery to stand against them. Their latest leader, Marco

Leonè is said to be the most brutal they had.

After a gang war with the

Cerrone Family, he killed every family member of the Cerrone including the elders of the family, children, and wives. He beheaded everyone and he

stuck their heads on wooden poles in the middle of the city. Everyone was

in shock to see even heads of babies, children, and women there. This was how Marco Leonè handled enemies and that is the last time anyone

actually opposed him.

One day while walking around one of his

warehouses during an inspection, one of his men called him. His men were holding a bloodied child and they said they saw this child stealing food in

their warehouse. The child was able to kill one of them using a simple bow and arrow so they beat the child almost all night. Marco laughed hard.

Everyone was confused as to why.

He quickly drew his gun and placed it on his man's head. "You let a child sneak inside our warehouse? One of you was killed by this boy?" Said Marco. He shot his man on the head instantly killing him. He turned his attention to the child in front of him,

"What is your name?". "Steve" replied the child. "Come with me." He ordered his men to take Steve in his mansion to give him a bath, dress him, and feed him. There was a long heard rumor that Marco cannot have a child. Because of this rumor the members of Leonè Family Mafia are in

distress because of the lack of an heir.

On that fateful day, Marco decided to make this child his heir. But this turned out to be the worst decision he

has made in his life. While growing up with the mafia, Steve was taught how to fight by world class trainers. He was taught how to fight in

hand-to-hand combat, he continued to use his bow and arrow and got

training for it also which boosted his already above average skills with it.

"Why not use a gun instead?" Marco asked Steve one random night during their dinner. Marco has already asked this almost a million times but Steve never answered. Not even once. Well Steve is actually a very silent child.

He speaks once in a while but he only does that if he deems it necessary.

That's why Marco never expected an answer to his question but out of curiosity he still asks. "A gunshot killed my sister" Steve uttered.

This caused Marco's eyes to widen. He never got an answer to that question

and Steve never bothered to share any part of his past with Marco. For almost 20 years since he picked up Steve, this is the only time he

answered. Marco didn't know how to react, when he was about to say

something Steve said "I'm done, thanks for the dinner." And he quickly went to his room. The Leonè Family mansion is very big.

Almost looking like a 10 storey hotel on the outside. It's not just Marco and Steve living there, all of the important members of the Mafia live there as well. His right hand man, Mer Valkovsky, and other important members of his crime family. Later that night Mer woke up in the middle of the night. He saw a man in a black hood sitting on a chair across his room. He was about to get his gun when an

arrow pierced through his hand.

This caused him to scream because of the pain, then after that he wondered. "Your guards are dead" said the guy in a black hood, "Everyone in this mansion is dead." "Impossible, this is the Leonè Family house. Do you even know who you're going against? Do you even know me?" Mer shouted. "I know very well who you are, the most skilled fighter in this mansion right? The right hand man. The warmonger. That's the reason why I'm letting you live."

The guy in the black hood answered. "Tell everybody. The Leonè family is dead." After that the guy in black hood left the room, Mer was still staring at the door in shock and after a while he got back in his senses. It's true, everywhere he looked he just

saw blood and bodies of bodyguards in the hallways. Inside every room, all

important family members are dead with an arrow in their foreheads. He rushed to Marco's room and was shocked in what he saw.

An axe still sticking out of Marco's gut which was sliced diagonally causing internal organs to fall. The gruesome scene left Mer unable to eat for days. One thing was on his mind after he saw Marco's body. War. Mersham will be flipped upside down.

Everyone will go to war to fill in the gap left by the

Leonè family. "Stare Mer, this is the last time you'll see everyone." After that Mer's head was hit hard causing him to lose consciousness. When he woke up he was in the hospital with one of MCPD detectives who is a partner of the Leonè family. "What happened?" Mer asked the detective whose face was still pale for some reason. "I should ask you that question Mer, what happened in that mansion? Blood was everywhere but not a single body

was found. Not a single one." Said the detective. "What do you mean?" Mer said. "That's exactly what I mean. There was not a single body in that mansion.

Even Marco's is missing. They just disappeared. No weapon was found, no evidence, no DNA, no nothing. All the important members, they just disappeared except you. You were found in the middle of the street in

front of the mansion. You tell me what happened Mer."
