Chapter 10

Nikki's POV:

As soon as we pull up to the pack house the atmosphere is heavy with tension the Alpha and Luna as well as the beta couple are outside waiting for us along with Jason and a few omegas that seem to be shaking in fear once we park I take one look at the boys who are happily playing with the new toys I had bought for them while Mary and I were at the mall, I quickly mind link Mary so the boys don't get nervous or worried " Mary while I am with the seer please don't let the boys out of your sight and keep them safe this will most likely take the rest of the day until my shift and I don't want the boys left alone with anyone but you please promise me" I don't take my eyes off my rear view mirror watching the boys carefully I know once this day is over their lives will never be the same "I swear to you Nik I wont let them out of my sight no one will get near them unless I am right there on my honor" we quickly nod towards one another and hop out of the truck quickly grabbing our things and helping the boys out. 

Mary and I walk side by side while Marcus holds my hand and Kevin holds Mary's as we make our way towards the front of the house I can feel all eyes on us we stop at the alpha and beta couple and slightly bow our heads showing respect but not submission the four notice it but don't dare say a thing I have a feeling their silence has something to do with the two giant men in black suites standing on the opposite side of them with a small woman in the middle I can not see her face because its covered by the hood on her burgundy velvet cloak "Mary Nikki I would like to introduce you to..." my alpha is quickly cut off by the little woman "SILENCE ALPHA YOU ARE A DISCRACE TO YOUR TITLE YOU HAVE DO NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO SPEAK MY NAME OR TRY TO INTRODUCE ME TO ANYONE I AM HERE IN THIS PATHETIC PACK BECAUSE YOU AND YOUR LUNA FAILED TO KEEP A YOUNG GIRL SAFE A GIRL WHO YOU SO SHAMELESSLY INTRODUCE AS YOUR GOD DAUGHTER NEITHER YOU, YOUR LUNA OR BETAS WILL NOT SPEAK TO ME OR FOR ME AGAIN WHILE I M HERE ARE WE CLEAR!!!" the little lady booms with more power than I have ever felt in my life I quickly look around and everyone but me and the guards standing by her side is bowing their heads in submission to her aura I feel her rage flowing off of her like powerful waves her head and the heads of her guards quickly snap to me when they realize I am not submitting one of the guards begins to growl at me he takes a step forward but is quickly stopped by the small woman standing before me "wait a minute she doesn't mean it in a disrespectful way this young girl is a blessed child of the moon goddess" she pulls her hood down revealing her beautiful lavender and silver eyes she extends her hand to me I shake her hand not once being able to look away from her she is truly the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on she has jet black flowing hair that reaches her hips her skin is milk white but has a healthy glow to it but her eyes are what hypnotize me they are stunning I have never seen anything like them.

"My name is Myra blessed one I am what some would like to call the royal witch or simply the seer you my darling can call me by Myra may I know your name" her words glide out with such grace and serenity its hard to believe this is the same woman who just spoke to my alpha she gives me a gentle smile and I happily return it I bow my head to her "hello Myra my name is Nicole but since I could remember everyone has always been called me Nikki you can call me whatever you would like, Myra gentlemen I am very sorry if I disrespected you earlier in anyway by not submitting my wolf has a lot of pride and doesn't like to submit or show weakness to anyone she has always been like that we meant no harm by it" I quickly explain myself the guards nod at me still not saying a word Myra however smiles and waves off my apology. I suddenly feel 2 sets of hands on my wrists tugging me I look down at my little brothers and squat down to their level gently rubbing their backs letting them know everything is okay since everyone around us is still bowing their heads not daring to look at the witch or her guards I see Myra kneel down in front of my brothers introducing herself to them letting them know she means them no harm they take a instant liking to her when she wiggles her fingers making butterflies appear all around them. 

"So James where is the girl I have been sent here for" says Myra, James doesn't dare to say anything to her he just silently points towards me. Myra looks stunned by his no word responds "her you have allowed a blessed child to endure abuse and harm for years that is absolutely disgraceful" Myra shakes her heads as if she is scolding a child I have never seen my Alpha or Luna ever behave like so fearful of someone it is actually kind of sad and pathetic I glance towards Jason his head is down but as I look at his body language he hates that he has to submit to a woman his fists are clenched tight and his jaw is clenched so tight it looks as though it has a pulse all on its own I take a glance at my best friend beside me she doesn't seem to be scared but I know she will not dare to disrespect someone who is considered a royal to us I grab her hand giving it a firm squeeze " Myra I would like you to meet the alpha's daughter Mary she is my best friend and the only female who has been allowed to go to formal training for the alpha title" I say with pride dripping from my voice "ahh Mary we all have heard of you my dear it is truly a honor to meet you and I must say the royals are watching you with great curiosity" "thank you madam I am honored" Mary says while shaking her hand giving Myra a million dollar smile "well Nikki the time has come for us to go ahead with out business will you please show me to your room so we can get this show on the road and you two" she says while pointing at her guards inform the king and queen of everything that has happened so far than I want you to go and retrieve her mother and mothers boyfriend and place them in a holding cell have them chained to the wall I will be paying them a visit once I am finished with Nikki here" the guards do not say once word they just walk off starting the jobs they were given "Miss Mary can you please take care of these 2 handsome boys here while Nikki and I speak in private it shouldn't take more than a hour maybe two" Mary nods bowing her head before taking my brothers to their room "and as for the rest of you, you may leave I don't have any use for any of you, Nikki please lead the way darling" with her orders set in motion everyone starts to leave except Jason she is lowly growling "oh Jason hunny I suggest you tread lightly when it comes to me I have a short temper and more power than you will ever know in your pathetic little life with a snap of my fingers I will cut your manhood right off now run along like a good little pup" Mary says while looping her hand around my elbow as we are walking away she quickly whispers in my ear "I hate men who think they will always have more power than any woman I have been around for over 500 years and little boys like that never have good futures ahead of them" she rambles on about sexist men and how she wishes she could give them all a lesson they will never forget but she is a good witch so it is forbidden to kill or seriously hurt someone either way I love this lady she is a total bad ass and I seriously love how she kind of jumped over the subject of her being over 500 years old with such ease
