As the boys and I watch as the seer Myra walk away I hold on tight to both of their little hands I start to pull them with me to my room I made Nikki a promise and I have no intentions in ever letting her down it is bad enough my brother and parents will betray her trust in the near future I refuse to be just another disappointment in her life she already has enough of that to last a life time I am still determined to keep the boys and Nikki as safe as I can. the boys are looking at me smiling as we are walking towards the pack house when I hear a growl I turn around only to come face to face with my brother and parents by instinct I have the boys semi hidden behind me "don't you f*****g growl at me Jason who the hell do you think I am one of your little whores what do you want" I roll my eyes at him "how dare you speak to me in such a disrespectful tone and language don't forget I am your future alpha you may be my sister but that will not save you from punishment when I finally take you would have raised him with respect and honor none of this would have had to happen" I turn around walking with the boys up the stairs I see one of the royal guards watching the whole interaction he nods his head at me I guess agreeing the ass chewing I just gave to my family Jewel senses him before I do I can hear Jason's feet charging at me I quickly push the boys to the guard and quickly turn quickly grabbing my brother by his throat applying enough pressure to see his eyes begin to roll back I can feel a few small bones in his throat breaking under my grip Jewel is fighting for control she wants to kill him here and now but we both know if we kill him before Nikki has a chance to reject him she will most likely die with him I loosen my grip slightly enough for him to look me in the eye I quickly pull him closer to my face to speak to him I can hear my parents and Vanessa yelling at me begging me to let him go but the royal guard is growling at them warning them to keep their distance, I silently remind myself to that him later Jewel and I let out a powerful growl allowing Jewel's fangs to elongate "we warned you Jason we have always been stronger maybe now you wont doubt us" with a final growl Jewel and I combine our strengths together to throw my brother at a pine tree that its in the middle of our driveway once he hits the tree I watch as the force of the hit causes the tree to snap in half while Jason's body crumples to the floor bloody and broken everyone looks at me in shock and fear Jewel takes over to speak "take this a lesson every single one of you don't ever underestimate us and don't ever think of disrespecting us and if anyone ever tries to do what that coward did and attach us while our back is turned we will not hesitate to kill you only reason he is still breathing is because those two children are here next time he wont get off so easy" Jewel give me back control after her warning and I turn back towards the guard who is hold the boys he lets them down gently I look at him in his golden eyes "thank you sir" he nods "no problem at all if you wouldn't have acted so quickly I would have ripped his heart out of his chest without hesitation I don't allow men to hurt women I have little sisters and my mother raised me right, may I please escort you and the children to your room as a guard Myra and Nicole asked me to watch over
