Chapter 12

Nikki's POV

As Myra is setting up her things in my room I can not help but giggle at Mary's link she is suck a hot pants whoever her mate is he better have have ripped abs and the face of a Greek god I am looking out my window Ava and I are calming ourselves preparing for what is about to happen not only am I worried about Myra fishing around in my head but I am nervous about my shift tonight I can feel Ava is already preparing to make her grand entrance i can feel my muscles tightening my back is sore, my ears are ringing and my eyes are burning I have a feeling Ava is not going to wait until tonight to show herself all I want is for her to wait until Myra is done with us I do not want to shift while she is so close to me i could hurt her by mistake and hurting someone in the royal guard mistake or not could get me killed and there is no way I am gonna let that happen

Ava and I have joined together and she has opened up my sliding glass door we both love the fresh air we close our eyes and inhale deeply I can smell the pine trees and rain in the air when i am almost calm i hear voices, voices I was not ready to hear again so soon I look out to a trail that is towards my old house when suddenly I see 3 people walking towards the pack house I recognize my mother, her boyfriend, and the big quiet guard that came here with Myra he is pulling my mother and Matt with handcuffed chains my mother is crying while offering the guard s****l favors if he lets her go Matt is cussing at my mom calling her a w***e and swearing he has never done anything to deserve to be put on trial and that he demands to be set free I do not say a word i just continue to watch and listen to fools they are making of themselves Ava is growling in anger she cant believe I came out of such a shameful woman hell neither can I if i wouldn't have been forced to do the things my father and his friends made me do i would still be pure "so that's your mother huh? what a pathetic waste of space" Myra says I slightly flinch I couldn't even sense her behind me I quickly blink my eyes pushing Ava to the back of my mind before turning to face the witch I look at her and give her a small smile "yeah my mother has no shame she and I are 2 completely different people I'm just glad even though I was raised by her and came out of her we are night and day in comparison same thing with my father they might have birthed me but besides DNA we have nothing in common we do not even look alike" I say while turning around to look back at my mother as Myra comes to stand next to me we watch as my mother and Matt stop walking and look up towards me i hear them both growl and try to leap towards me I guess they forgot in that moment they were chained once they leap i see their bodies snap backwards to a oak tree near by the i watch as the guard smirks at their now unconscious bodies he looks up towards us looking at Myra they nod their heads at once another he then grabs my mother's and Matt's chains and starts to drag their limp bodies towards the cells I watch him until he is out of sight I walk back into my room closing the door behind me 

"Alright Nikki are you ready to get started i can feel your aura changing more and more if I had to make a guess i would say you have maybe 2 hours until Ava shifts into her true self and although I gladly serve the werewolf nation I do not like to be so close to a wolf who is going to be shifting for the first time so lets get this show on the road shall we, its pretty simple on yours and Ava's part your going to lay down here in the circle I have created I think you might want to put your hair up candles and hair do not make for a good time, once your laying in the circle your going to close your eyes and you along with Ava will open up your minds to me and I will be able to see and feel what you have been through I will start with your earliest memory and work my way to the present time I know Ava has seen a few tid bits of your future here and there and i will take a quick peak in that too but as it is the future nothing is for sure the future is always changing but i will get the general gyst of what your future holds and how important you are exactly once i am done i will dismiss you and relay all the evidence i have gathered to the king and queen they will discuss with their advisors on the proper punishments that need to be carried out also if you need training they will most likely have you and if you desire your siblings moved to the palace for safe keeping when we find blessed children of the moon goddess they are usually moved with us to ensure their safety and help them to become stronger, do you have any questions for me Nikki" she looks at me with a straight face her eyes feel like they are looking into my soul there's only one thing i want to ask her but i feel kind of childish asking it but i just have to know "is any of this going to hurt me or Ava in anyway" i hear her giggle alittle " no it should not hurt you i have been told by other that their heads tingle a little but no pain" i nod my head and look at the circle its really quite beautiful there are candles and herbs shaped into a circle i take a deep breath and i instantly can tell the herbs are lavender, chamomile, and eucalyptus i slip off my shoes while putting my hair in a bun as i step into the circle and take a seat i say a silent prayer that once everything is out in the open no one will judge me or look at me differently but most of all i pray to the moon goddess that my brothers will not suffer or get bullied because of my past i lay my head back and close my eyes i feel Ava slowly drifting off into a deep slumber and i fallow with her 

Myra's POV 

i watch as Nikki goes unconscious once she stepped in my circle the effects of my sleeping spell started to quickly work i always make sure the spell works as though they are going to take a nap instead of being drugged i need the people i do this to be completely relaxed and open minded the easiest way i have learned is to put them to sleep i decide to give the spell a few more minutes to take full effect i walk over to my bag and grab my water bottle filled with blood its been a week since i have fed i am a witch vampire hybrid i was turned by a vampire who i thought loved me 465 years ago but turns out he just wanted my powers he thought he could make a army of hybrids taking over all worlds but i was never one to listen to a man even now i serve my queen and no one else when the prince finds his true mate i will then be loyal to her and only her i open the sliding glass door open my bottle and slowly start to drink making my hunger slowly start to fade once my bottle is half way gone i decide to safe the rest for later and put the bottle back in my bag i glance at Nikki peacefully sleeping while i tie my hair up in a ponytail i slowly walk to her kneeling at her head before i can place my hands on her head i see Angel walk in and take seat in the corner never saying a word "why did you leave the girl and the children your orders were to stay with them" i say to him while looking out at the forest i hate when my orders are ignored "yes mistress i know but Kyle asked me to come in and check on you, you know your husband worries about you i am just trying to be a good friend he wanted to come and check on you himself but he is worried the pack guards will let the prisoners go and then this poor girl will never get justice" i cant help but smile at my husbands name he is a pain in my ass but i can never imagine my life without him he is my reason to breathe i quickly shake my head clearing my thoughts of my husband "well go ahead and tell YOUR friend i am fine i fed and calm but this girl has a little less than 2 hours before her first shift and i would like to be a safe distance away from her before that i might be imortal but scratches from a newborn werewolf's claws is extreamly painful and i would like to avoid that from happening again so shoo shoo go away and lock the door behind you i do not want any more distractions" without another word between us Angel quickly stands up from his chair to fixes his suit and walks out the door most likely to call my worry wort husband to update him on my status "alright sweetie lets see what kind of life you had shall we" as i place my fingers on the sides of her head and begin to resite a latin spell my mother taught me i feel my eyes change to a pure white as i begin to watch Nikki's life play before me 'oh dear goddess you poor sweet and strong girl what has this pack done to you, why oh dear god why didn't anyone keep you safe'

1 and a half hours later 

Nikki's POV 

i can feel drops of water hitting my forehead 'what in the hell is that' i slowly flicker my eyes open looking up at Myra as i look in her eyes i realize it wasn't water hitting my head it was her tears her eyes are pure white like snow i can see she is in some type of trance i feel Ava has put up a black between me and her which means she is showing Myra my secretive future that i can never know about suddenly i feel a bolt of pain like fire and electricity shoot through my spin 's**t its happening' and just as the pain subsides i see Myra is out of her trance moving away from me as i start to stand another painful bolt rips through me nd i quickly fall to my knees taking deep breathes in through my nose and out through my mouth "f**k Mary it's happening i am shifting get the boys in the backyard ahhhhhhhhhh' i scream through mind link but i refuse to scream in life i have done enough crying and screaming i won't do it again i slowly start to stand stepping out of Myra's circle she is sitting in my desk chair he doesn't look afraid but she is still crying, slowly rocking back and forth i decide it link Mary one more time before i fully shift allowing Ava to take over 'Mary tell the guard who is watching over you and the boys Myra doesn't look so good she is crying i think something is wrong with her i can't risk getting close to her" i send my last link to Mary before stripping down to my underwear and bra i suddenly start to hear and feel my bones popping and elongating i fall over curling myself up in a ball watching my skin sprout fur i feel my face changing i can hear the continuous pops of my spine i feel my teeth elongating and my eyes changing color once its over i take a backseat in my mind and let Ava have control she has been waiting for this for so long she deserves this she lifts her head and takes a deep breathe she looks over at Myra who is being held my the big giant guard who doesn't say anything they must be mates Ava and i both know why Myra is crying its our fault we slowly make our way over to them stopping a few feet away Ava drops her head and starts to whimper nudging Myra's hand trying to apologize for causing her any type of pain Myra and the guard look over at us Myra softly rubs our head "it's okay Ava i just didn't prepare myself enough i knew about some of the abuse but i did not expect all of that pain i never realized one girl could endure so much in just a few short years and still be as strong as you both have become and your story is just begging there is so much more to come and i can't wait to watch you prosper Ava quickly gives Myra's hand a lick i look at her mate bowing my head to show them both respect "go on Ava your brothers and best friend are outside waiting for you Ava quickly barks walking towards the sliding glass door nudging it open wider before leaping down once my paws hit the floor Ava takes the time to shake her fur nd take in her surroundings we run over to where the boys are playing with Mary and the guard Angel is standing not to far watching the three of them like a hawk Ava barks loudly they boys and Mary look over towards us it takes a second for the boys to realize its me the quickly run towards me jumping on me rubbing our fur and kissing our muzzle "sissy sissy your so beautiful your fur is like honey and your eyes look like that blue green stone in your ring your so pretty" Marcus says to us while rubbing the fur on my neck i look over towards Kevin he is playing with my tale trying his best to grab it i decide it smack him with my tail so he can snap out of his trance 

Once the boys were done treating Ava like a giant puppy Mary and Angel walks up to me nodding their heads at me "you just couldn't wait for everyone to be here could you Kaden and Charley are going to be upset they missed this you do look beautiful though Ava" my bestfriend smiles at me "sissy sissy can we ride you please please Kevin and Marcus are jumping up and down yanking at my fur i quickly nudge them with my muzzle and lay down on the wet grass so they can easily get into position for the next few hours our little brother used Ava and i like a pony rather than a werewolf
