CHAPTER 8 Micah had parked his car on the old track that, many years ago, had once cut a path straight through to the old Birch estate. But like everything else belonging to that line, it had been left to decay. Until today he hadn’t even stepped foot upon this land for over twenty years, but aside from the track being consumed by nature, and the shrubs and trees thriving, the area hadn’t changed at all.
