His low hooded eyes drifted to her face as she smirked while taking the blunt from in between his fingertips so she could join in on his necessary smoke break.
"Sup baby girl, you enjoying yourself?" He questioned before slowly licking his lips, getting caught up in the way her heart shaped mouth released the cloud of smoke she was able to achieve up into the nighttime air.
"Hey kaji! Yeah I'm having a good time! Mango got me dancing and laughing my ass off, you know how goofy he is!" He tried his absolute best to hide the tinge of ache in his chest he felt at the mention of her other half.
"Yeah that nigga is funny! Glad you having a good time though!" There was so much else he wanted to say, wanted to let slip out baring his truth but he knew he couldn't. She placed her hand on his shoulder, sensing his apprehension while giving him another breathtaking smile.
"Hey is everything okay? You seem a little down!" If only she knew how true her statement was, his heart yearning for her in ways that shouldn't be even kind thought of due to the circumstances.
