Meredith : The Exhibition
Today is the day of our dancing exhibition. We've all worked our feet off learning the tango. As usual, most of the students are proficient in the basic steps by now, but I’m still struggling. It's a different emphasis yet again. Harry is patient and I am getting there. Whether I shall be able to perform well enough not to let him down in front of the Captain is questionable. It doesn't help that I'm nervous about dancing with Harry while the Captain is in the audience. I remember what happened last time. And the tango is sexy and sensual. It demands close body contact with moves suggestive of s****l intimacy. Just what the Captain doesn't like. And my dress has a long slit up the side.
