Damien

'I am really not in the mood for you to be angry at me,' Lea stood from her bed and crossed her arms looking at Damien.

Last night Damien couldn't stand watching that big i***t watching his Luna with so much want in his eyes, so he had returned to his office with a cute little blonde omega with too much make up.

Even she couldn't make him c*m, which angered him more.

Lea was his, she had been with no other man and Damien wanted it to stay that way.

'Come on Lea, you are better than that beta' he put on as sad a face as he could manage, 'why don't you reject him, take your trip and then when you return we could try being together?' he moved closer to her hoping he could break through her anger.

'Without all the stress of running a pack, we could really be something'

Leas shock was written all over her face, it gave Damien a bit of pride knowing it was working.

'We are great together Leanne, we could go back to how it was at the start'

He reached out to touch her hair, she has wore it loose since yesterday and it took years off of her. He always hated that bun she wore, it made her look so old. If this all goes well he could maybe get her too lose some weight as well and then she would be perfect again.

'Damien, I don't know where this is all coming from but you haven't been interested in me since I gave you the kids. There is no love between us and right now I need to make myself priority'

Leas reply annoyed him, she really had got a back bone over the years.

'But there could be love, we just need to be together and love can grow' as he leaned in to try kiss her she suddenly sniffed then stepped away looking around frantically.

'I think you should leave,' she said lowering her head. Stifling a growl, he stepped away from her and headed for the door.

'Just think about it, Lea the kids would love their parents to be together' playing his last trump card he left the room.

He stormed down the hall to his new rooms and slammed the door. His feet wouldn't stop though and he kept pacing the floor,

How could this be happening?

She had gotten so compliant?

Noone can take what is his.

Something had to be done to get rid of this beta.

Buster

As he paced the packhouse deep in thought, Buster suddenly got a whiff of the fresh sea as he passed an open door.

He paused and leaned closer, hearing voices and got an overwhelming scent of lies, one of the bonuses of being beta is we can smell lies that's why he always interrogated prisoners.

'..... We just need to be together and love can grow' that Alpha was really getting him, lying to his mate but she was obviously falling for it.

Storming away he decided he needed to do some digging and find out more about this slimeball.

When he reached his room he finally pulled out the file his sister had handed him the week previously and started digging through all the information they had uncovered.

He found a list of unfriendly packs with Cloaked Moon pack and out of 6 packs he had contacts in 4. Time to make some calls, Cloaked moon always seemed so peaceful so why would they have enemies?

The first 2 calls gave him nothing, they were only unfriendly because of other treaties however Blood Moon was a wealth of information and their beta was more than willing to give Buster everything he needed.

'once he got them all drunk he Alpha commanded 4 Omegas to strip for him. One had the sense to mind link her warrior mate, when he arrived Alpha Damien sliced his face with a silver blade.' Beta Aaron finished up.

Buster sat in shock, how could such a man stay Alpha for so long?

' Where was his Luna through all this? Is she aware? ' Buster could not believe Lea would allow this.

' She had left that morning and he had stayed to celebrate the treaty, I'm not sure if she was ever informed because he ran back there and voided the treaty' Buster could hear the anger in Aarons voice.

'Could you email me all the info? My niece is Luna to the new Alpha of Cloaked moon and I really think he should be aware of his fathers activities'

'Not a problem Bus, if he is nothing like his father then a treaty could maybe be discussed aswell,'

'Thanks Aaron I will let Johnny know'

'Oh and you should speak with New moon pack, their story of him is a doozy' Aaron finished before hanging up.

Well if theirs was worse Buster just had to make that phonecall.

Another 2 hours on a phone call gave Buster a sore head. This Alpha should have been taken care of years ago yet he was still here manipulating everyone around him. Johnny had to know about all this and then maybe Lea would stop listening to that i***t.

Lea

She moved quicker than she ever had in her life,

'Could you bring my belongings to my cottage please?' she mind linked a couple warriors. 'no problem Lea' they replied and she rushed out the door for a run.

Shifting into her grey wolf as soon as she was outside Lea ran faster than she ever had. Her head was all over the place and sometimes a run put things into perspective, being on four legs was just natural.

Remembering how she nearly fell under Damiens spell made her skin crawl, if she hadn't got a sniff of her mates amazing scent she might have let Damien kiss her and that was out of the question.

Hours passed by and before she knew it night had fallen, she slowly trotted back to the packhouse and sat in the trees watching her old home.

Time to herself was just what she needed, alone with some fiction books and warm tea sounds like an ideal evening. She had 2 days until she had to get on her flight to France and she was going to enjoy them.

As she turned to head to her cottage a loud roar drew her attention back to the pack house just as Damien came rolling out the back door as if he had been pushed. Stopping in her tracks she seen Johnny following with her mate close behind.

'Son, Are you going to believe some Beta over your own father?' Damiens voice was full of hatred.

'There is enough proof to choke a wolf' Johnny screamed back at his father, his blue eyes were growing brighter and Lea knew his wolf would soon show so she made her way toward her son in hopes of calming him down,

'Letty, get to the back door now! Johnny needs you' She mind linked.

This is not looking good.
