I was terribly sore when I woke up.
I found myself laying on my side of the bed, curled on my side with the blankets tucked tightly under my chin. The sun was bright - burning once I cracked my eyes open. I could hear the birds chirping as they flew around outside.
I was not feeling as fancy as they were.
Groaning, I rolled onto my back carefully, eyes squeezing shut as I readjusted myself. Once repositioned, I allowed my head to fall back onto the pillow. I figured it was still somewhat early, because the sun was only rising. And Zanthus' scent was left behind.
And it was strong. He was here only minutes ago.
