After our morning talk, and my exhilaration from last night was over, the effects of my heat kicked in once more. I was exhausted. Zanthus had left me behind so he could tend to his Alpha duties. I had taken a long bath in the meantime, and temporarily soothed the ache I had in my womanhood, before I hit the hay again. I remained there for the whole day, too tired to actually move.
