I could feel a presence. I sat up slowly, removing my curls from my slightly sticky face as I looked around the room. Nothing seemed unusual; apart from the large man sitting in a chair directly beside my bed. I wasn't scared, though. Zanthus wasn't an intruder - in the sense that he was someone threatening and unfamiliar. But he had intruded in on my privacy in the room, but I knew it had to be for a good reason. Zanthus had been giving me my much needed space for three weeks. We had barely talked since our confessions those twenty-one days ago. I was thankful. I needed my time to regain myself.
