#musicvibe - Can you feel my heart, Bring me the horizon. * It was all dark. I tried to lift my head, but it was like my muscles weren’t listening. My spy training immediately kicked in and I stayed completely still while waiting for the drugs to wear off in case there was someone else in the room that I couldn’t see waiting for me to wake up. I had no idea where I was, and when I opened one eye to take a look around as discreetly as possible, I couldn’t really see anything in the dim light. I heard the sound of water dripping and smelled earth, so it didn't take long for me to figure out that I was in the dungeons underneath Caniluna Castle. Slowly, my body started working again and I carefully moved my hands and feet before trying to lift my head again. When my body worked enough for me to sit up, I realized two things. First, I was locked in the same cell where Hank Myers, the man responsible for basically all the misery in my life, had died. And second, my wrists were locked in the same handcuffs that the vampire king had used to trap me in his castle a little over a month ago. My powers didn’t work, and I felt Willow stir in my mind. “I can’t get out through the block.” She muttered. “What the hell is going on?” “I have no idea.” I replied. “But I have a really bad feeling about this.” The sound of the door to the dungeon opened and I staggered to my feet, preparing myself for anything. But nothing in the world could have prepared me for what happened next. Tyson walked into the dungeon, Celeste holding his hand. He stared blankly at me for a moment before opening the cell door and they both walked inside. “You’re probably wondering what you are doing here.” Celeste started. I saw the triumph in her eyes. It was like she had been waiting for this day all her life and I had walked right into her trap within less than a day. I folded my arms across my chest and glared at her. “I’m guessing you’re about to tell me.” I replied coldly. “You, Valeria, are about to die.” Celeste continued. “Once you are dead, the Caniluna pack will attack the Youngblood Castle. That would be a grueling war, with little to no survivors.” I raised an eyebrow, trying to ignore how my blood ran cold at her words. “And what do you have to gain from this?” I asked. “Who are you, really?” “Someone more powerful than you.” Celeste replied. “Especially now that you’re here. Wolfless and powerless, you don’t really pose a threat to anyone.” I glanced at Tyson who was standing right behind Celeste. He followed her every movement and didn’t even spare me a glance. “What have you done to him?” I asked. Something must have happened for him to completely ignore me like this. ”I’ve made him realize the brilliance in our plan.” Celeste smirked. ”He told me a lot about you.” I frowned and glanced at Tyson again. “He won’t be able to help you now.” Celeste continued and turned to leave. “In fact, he’ll be the one to kill you.” My stomach dropped and I backed away when Celeste put a hand on Tyson’s shoulder. “Hurt her.” She commanded. “Hurt her in the ways only you know how. But keep her alive for me.” My eyes widened when Tyson pulled Celeste to himself and crashed his lips on hers. I clutched my chest when it felt like a thousand needles pierced my heart and gasped from the sudden pain. I guessed that this was what Talon had meant when he tried to create cheating pains by ra.ping me. This is the pain he wanted. And that was what I was about to experience for myself. Celeste stepped out of the cell, leaving me alone with Tyson. “Can you reach Dax?” I asked Willow. “I’m trying, but he’s blocking me.” Willow replied. I backed further away until my back hit the wall and I put my hands up in a fighting stance. Since my powers were blocked and I couldn’t shift, I knew that my chances of fighting Tyson was close to zero, but I had to try to keep him away from me long enough for him to come to his senses. I just hoped that he wasn’t too far gone. “Tyson.” I said. “It’s me. Your mate. You don’t want to hurt me.” My heart pounded in my chest when Tyson stalked closer to me. I searched his eyes for any trace of emotion, but it was like looking into a dead person’s eyes. He was gone. “Tyson…” I whispered and instinctively put my arms up to block his arm when his fist came down on me. It felt like I was hit by a bus and I fell to the floor. I cried out in pain when pain shot through my arm and I scrambled away to gather my bearings. A hand grabbed my hair roughly and I felt him yank hard on it until I was flying through the air and crashed against the opposite wall before landing on the floor. My body exploded with pain and blood trickled into my eyes from a gash on my forehead. I looked up to see Tyson standing over me. ”Tyson, please.” I croaked out. He didn’t reply, instead he took out a syringe from his pocket and I screamed out when he pushed it into my neck, emptying its contents into my bloodstream. My head felt like it was going to explode and Willow howled in pain with me. ”Please.” I could barely speak the words, and Tyson didn’t seem like he was listening. He wordlessly walked out of the cell and left. Tears started streaming down my face, and I didn’t know what was worse, the pain in my heart, the pain in my body or the dread of what this woman was planning next. I curled up on the floor, losing myself in pain and fear until the darkness enveloped me again.
