Prologue
Should you want to perform a demon summoning ritual, the summoner must draw a circle upon the ground in chalk, dust, flour, spit, whatever, whilst reciting either the true name, other name or the species of the demon he/she wants to summon.
Twelve candles must be lighted around the circle.
A demon's power is referred to as its circle. Circles rank from one (lowest) to eight (the highest). The greater the circle of demons, the more dominant it will be.
The term 'circle' refers to the warding circles required to bind a demon of a given level of power.
This is the first part of the ritual, which targets the demon the summoner wishes to summon. If a specific demon is being summoned, its name or true name should be uttered at least once for every circle of the demon, for example, to summon the demon of fire and brimstone.
Ry is the name to call”.
Ry? Mmm, what a fine name for a demon.
What's the harm in making use of the demon mentioned?
I take the new chalk I bought.
Drawing a perfect circle, I mention the name Ry as I draw.
“If you've chosen the name of the demon you intend to summon like the name Ry and have drawn the circle, proceed”.
Within this circle, I call thee,
What's the harm in trying, since this book might just be a fake?
I repeat after it,
“Within this circle, I call thee,
Within this circle, I bind thee,
Within this circle, I summon thee”.
Ry
“ Ry,
Ry,
Ry.”
Thrice by your name are you bound,
To my will though art bound,
I call thee forth,
Ry
Ry
Ry
I call you forth,
I call you forth and Bind you,
I call you forth and bind you in this circle.
I take the knife, slice opens a small wound and draw another circle with it.
I feel goosebumps materialize on my body, but I shake off the fear.
It's just a fake Summoning, nothing more, and besides why write a demon name here if their names and ranks are difficult to come by?
I take up the book and start reading again.
I stand in the circle for preventive measures, as was stated in the book.
“Within this Circle, you are bound,
At my Summons, you will come,
In One form, shall you be bound?
In One place shall you be bound,
See this sacrifice offered unto you,
Witness it as it is offered unto you,
Know that it calls you unto this place,
And from it draw your strength,
By my will, I force the gates,
With my will, I open the way,
Let my words be the light that draws you here,
As my voice gives you form with which to work my will,
Your Spirit is bound within”
A strong gust of wind blew immediately I altered those words and three candles were extinguished.
I take a step towards the candles when I recalled the earlier warnings.
“Don't step out of the circle if the ritual hasn't been completed.
I took up the book and resumed the summoning,
“Ry, I call you forth,
Ry, I call you forth and Bind you,
Ry, I call you forth and bind you in this circle.
At my Summons, you have come,
Within this Circle, you are bound,
Thrice by your name are you bound,
To my will though art bound,
With My Will, I Bind You,
With My Will, I Bind You,
With My Will, I Bind You_”
The windows broke off from their hinges and the twelve candles I placed around the circle got extinguished.
I look around in fright.
Can it be that this whole demon summoning is true?
No snap out of it Mesel, it can't be true, it's just a prank played on gothic people.
“Believe what you want, but know this, I was summoned by you, a mere mortal at that,” a deep throaty voice laughs. “ I can't believe a mortal released me from my eternal prison.”
Before I don't understand what shaking on your bones meant, but now I do.
“W…who…who…are…you?” my teeth were chattering from the sudden cold.
My heater is on, I am certain of it, yet this room is freezing.
He chuckles, “A demon of course, what else were you summoning if not a demon?”
Hearing his words makes me shiver some more. I know I thought it was fake stuff, but that doesn't mean being prepared to see the demon.
There's a banishing somewhere, right? I can recall reading through that.
With trembling hands, I pick up the book from where I threw it in fright.
Thank God for the light coming in from the shattered windows, I can see what's written in the book.
“I see you and know you for what you are,
I call you from darkness into light,
Show your true face,
I command you,
Ry
Ry
Ry as
I send thee back,
I banish thee,
Trouble me no more,
With My Will, I Banish You,
With My Will _”,
“ No!!!!!” he shouts, and I feel myself being thrown across the room where my head had a heading with the wall.
I lose consciousness from the fall.
“ What have I gotten myself into?” was my last thought as blackness stole through me.
