Chapter 11

1009 Words
Josephine woke up earlier than usual. It was Sunday after, all. The first day of the training. She couldn't afford being late. So before the clock showed 8 am, the girl was already inside the cafe. Anna showed up exactly at the time, they were supposed to meet.   ''You here, lovely. Grab my hand and I will teleport us somewhere safer.'' Josephine did as she was told and grabbed the woman's hand. Her hand was colder than Josephine expected it to be.  Suddenly they ended up in a deep forest. A place familiar, somehow for the girl.  ''Where are we?'' The girl asked. ''Somewhere in Scotland. Don't worry people are either still asleep or went to a mass.'' ''Drew told me that we can't teleport that far.'' ''Drew Jackson?'' Then if something clicked inside Anna's brain. ''Oh yeah I forgot you are a family. Well the thing is how far you can scratch your abilities depends on how powerful you are. I can only teleport to Scotland, Wales and Ireland not over seas countries like France or Spain, which would be nice. Your father for example could go as far as teleport to New York. Drew always misbehaved during lessons and he didn't reach his full potential. I hope you are better student than this. Now shall we start?'' She asked and Josie nodded. It was going to be a long day for both of them. *** Somewhere in mainland Europe, in a country not many heard of, an older man sat down in a chair, in his study. He was typing something on the typing machine. The words made perfect sense in the language him and his wife knew. To the outsider the words would sound like a total gibberish.  A faint knocking on the door could be heard.  ''Come in!'' He shouted. A small older woman appeared. Her grey hair were made into a bun on top of her head. She was wearing a long black skirt and equally black t shirt. The woman was still mourning the death of her only son. ''Darling we need to talk.'' She said. Her voice faint as her knocking. The woman was dying.  ''Helen I know but don't you see I'm busy.'' He said not even looking up at her.  ''I don't care that you are busy Joseph. We need to talk. I know you told your spies to have eyes on Josephine.'' She said louder this time and the man stopped typing. Joseph finally looked at his wife. ''Who told you that?'' ''I know and hear more than you think I do. Just because I don't have much time left of this life it doesn't mean I'm too delicate to know. I am your wife and we did never hide anything from each other. Now you want to hide something. We shared a vision few years ago and pretended to be mad so we could take a break and now you don't want to tell me something. What are you afraid of?'' ''Of you dying when you find put something.'' ''What is it then? I am not afraid of death.'' ''Josephine is reincarnation of The Great Queen.'' The woman stood there shocked.  ''Our granddaughter is her reincarnate?'' ''Yes what's even worse her soulmate is His reincarnation.'' With that woman fainted. Her husband rushing to her aid automatically.  *** Hei was sitting down in a park watching people passing. With no care in this world. He wished he was like them. Clueless about the world that existed without their knowledge. Maybe it was for a better. At least they didn't had useless drama in their life.  His phone was ringing but he didn't pick up. Hei knew who it was but he didn't care. Lucca can go and screw himself.  The man stood up slowly from a bench and slowly moved towards his car. He needed to go for a run, to think. Nothing helps him better than being on four paws.  *** Josephine thought she's going to faint. She was training with Anna for eight hours now. The girl was hungry and tired but she had to keep going. She had to do it for her father.  ''Well done that's it for now.'' And with one wave of Anna's hand Josie found herself in her room.  *** Anna stood in front of a window in her apartment. A glass of red wine in her hands. Her wife, Alice came into the room, worry on her face. ''What's going on?'' she asked. Alice knew Anna for a long time, she knew when she was hiding something. ''Josephine is more powerful that I thought. In one day, in one eight hour session she already perfected protection spells and counterattack ones. I have a bad feeling about her. The power in her veins is strong and she's going to be lot stronger than her father and her grandparents. Is like she already knows what's she's doing.'' Anna took a sip of her wine and said.  ''Shell we had to bed?'' Alice nodded her head. ''You need it after this day. When do you have next training?'' ''Next Sunday. The same time.'' *** The dinner between those two was quiet. Her black hair were put in a high ponytail.  Suddenly the older man asked.  ''Did Hei was calling you recently?''  The woman shook her head no.  ''Your son is going to put us in danger. You know that?'' ''Don't you think I don't know about the prophecy?! Whole his life I was mourning his future. So spare me telling me that he's going to put us in trouble. You do that every time you have a chance.'' ''I think that when he comes back you have to speak to him. Tell him the truth.'' ''I know and I will! I don't need advice from you. You are not his father after all.'' ''And I'm glad I am not. Did you know what fortune teller told me recently?'' ''What?'' ''That the first prophecy was wrong his not him that will bring doom. She will.''
