Lilith spent the rest of the day in her room, holding the pregnancy test and crying intensely. She felt like her world was gradually collapsing as she saw the two strips on which the test was hung. She had doubts about Albert’s words. She still had that hope that told her that he was lying to her and that everything would be okay. Well, she could not imagine having a child at this age, or at all, to be more honest, but it did not occur to her for a second to get rid of him. Her feelings were very disturbed, and she called her mother even though she did not want to see her in this condition.
Lilith felt like her fate was standing in the corner of her room, laughing at her. She had spent years—literally years—blaming her mother for giving birth to her at a young age. She was still not yet sixteen when she gave birth to her. Lilith had said so many painful words to her because she had made them both go through this painful reality. Lilith just turned nineteen a few days ago, but she still feels ashamed of her situation. How will she tell her mother, even with the age difference? She has not even left the house. Her mother and aunt are still taking care of her completely. She kept imagining in her mind how they would react to the news and what she would do. She didn't realise how much time had passed, but she knew that she looked terrible now and that her eyes and cheeks were definitely swollen from crying so much.
She did not stop crying until she heard a strong knock on the door. She intended to ignore it, but it continued for several minutes. She went down the stairs to open the door, but she hesitated. What if it was a drunk man who came to see her mother? She would not really be able to deal with them in this situation, especially. If it was an alpha, so she pulled her trembling hand along from the doorknob and waited while she was quietly catching her breath. She flinched when he knocked hard on the door again, but she breathed in relief when she heard Max's voice saying, "Lilith, I know you're home. I can catch your scent. Please open the door."
Lilith rolled her eyes. She was so pissed with him that she was about to break his teeth if she could, so she ignored him. She was about to go back up to her room, but he knocked on the door again, saying, “Believe me, it is important.”
Lilith did not respond as she rolled her eyes again as she silently cursed him and his family, but what he said next made her stiffen in shock and cause her to lose consciousness.
“My brother is on his way here; he is coming to take you with him. f**k it, open the door, Lilith; there is not enough time.”
Lilith's world shook as she automatically placed her hand on her belly. She immediately felt danger as soon as he mentioned him. It played in her memory again. Her breath hitched as her body trembled violently, remembering those red eyes that stared at her hungrily, as if all she had tried to pretend was fine all week hit her all at once, like an express. She hished in her breath while her ears began to buzz. She stiffened in her place and couldn't move. Then she felt the place spinning around her, and the last thing she heard before she lost consciousness was the sound of a strong bang followed by her name.
Max cursed under his breath as he picked up the unconscious Lilith in his arms. He knew she had done so out of panic, but he did not have enough time to wake her up, so he preferred to leave immediately, and he would explain everything later.
Max was smart enough not to take a car of his own. Even if he was not inside his brother's district, he would be able to find them with the blink of an eye, so he took one of the cars that he was repairing in his workshop and headed to drive to one of his companions whom he had recently met at university.
He literally looked back with every metre the car drove to make sure his brother was not following him, so he could enter the apartment safely after that, put Lilith on the bed, then cover her with one of the blankets he found in the closet. Then he stood looking at her after that and sighed deeply, not knowing. What would fate hold for him next?

April, Lilith's mother, cursed out loud after she got out of the car and saw the broken door of her house. This was quite enough to make her sober, after she made sure she would remain drunk for the rest of the night.
April stepped on all the pieces of wood lying on the ground while her shock did not leave her, and she began to check the house in case it was robbed, but the strange thing was that everything was exactly as she left it, so she put her hand on her bare waist while looking at the chaos around her with complete annoyance. It was not too late to call someone to fix her door, but now her mood was completely ruined. She also heard the sound of the car engine running, and then the car sped away. This means that she lost her companion for the night as well.
She ran her hand through her blonde hair, not caring anymore about ruining its style. Discomfort was dripping from her eyes as she searched in her bag for her phone, while she said, “Where is that damned little b***h? If she had been at home, all this nonsense wouldn’t have happened. Damn me because I decided to have her.”
She ran her hand through her hair again while she left her bag to fall to the ground after she found the phone and called a number, while circling her eyes around the house to make sure once again that everything was as it was. While she heard the ringing, she went upstairs, only to be met with the silence of the house. He did not answer; the one on the phone. She called him again while entering the rooms, furrowing her eyebrows in annoyance. Everything was really fine, so she speculated that Lilith had caused it. She bit her lips in great anger, almost losing her patience, but in the end, she heard the man’s voice on the other side welcoming her, and then she said, "Mr. Cassidy, sorry for calling you this late; I need you for an urgent matter. The door to the house is broken. Please, I want you to come and fix it."
She said her words as one sentence as she stepped down the stairs, but she gasped in shock greater than her shock when she saw the broken door, to the point that she froze in place, while her phone fell to the ground, shattering like the door to her house after it rolled down the stairs, while she said in a whisper, “Argent.”
While the other one approached her while putting his hand in his pants pocket with all his pride, ignoring the broken door of the house, and then said, “It is Alpha Alexander Argent for you, April, so now, where is your daughter?”
Then he smiled with absolute hatred and said, “Or rather, my sister.”
