It's been two days since being here. Thank Goddess for Alpha duties so I haven't had to deal with Jax. Jason seems so happy with his mate and I don't want to take Jordin away from her two uncles and aunt. They are the only family she knows, but if I stay here then the mate bond will continue to grow stronger. I went to the garden here about two hours ago to think and clear my head. Jordin always knows how to cheer me up when I am down. I then see her skipping through the path in the flowers with Jemma in tow.
"Mommy, Mommy I found these for you I know they are your favorite." She says so excitedly knowing roses and sunflowers are my favorite.
"Thank you baby you are my sunshine." She just smiles back.
"Mommy can I go play with the kids they have two guards watching over them."
"Yes baby be careful call if you need me."
"I know what you are thinking about Jazz".
"And what would that be". I asked
"Of leaving us behind". She said with sadness on the edge of her voice.
"Jemma you know what will happen if i stay and you know my past".
"Yes i do Jazz but i also know not all Alphas are the same you showed me that. You also showed no matter what life may bring everyone deserves a chance at happiness, and that also includes you". She was loving but stern in her words.
"Listen I will continue to think about what you and the guys are up to today"?
"Well one thing i don't like about this place the guys are helping with training. I can train with the group but I can not lead the training with others". She said annoyed
Couldn't blame her a bunch of sexiest. "Well what are we waiting for you know I love a good challenge". We smiled at each other like two evil scientists over an experiment.
We finally reached the training grounds where I stood alongside Jemma with Jason and Jack. Jack knew what I was up to and only shook his head. The Delta of the pack was shouting out orders when he turned and saw me standing aside his trainers and not the trainees.
"You need to get in formation if you are wanting to be in this group". He said eyeing me.
"I really don't like your tone towards another Alpha and i am where i should be maybe you should get into formation.'' I smirked at him.
"Are you challenging me"? He wasn't too bright apparently.
"Look whether i stay or not is not decided So if i win Jemma if she stays in this pack Can be a trainer and treated as an equal. If i lose we will fall in line. How does that sound"?
"Well let's start shall we". He was an eager little wolfie.
"You know the rules, stay inside the ten foot circle, fight either Wolf or human, First to submit or go outside the circle loses."
We nod in agreement and I see my pack cheering me on. The other pack was split cheering me and their delta some knew I was their Alphas mate. We began circling each other Snow at front watching her prey we knew we needed to end this quickly to prove our point. I needed to anger the beast within.
"Aww poor little wolfie afraid to attack a woman, does he need a bottle."
Wow that didn't take much he roared shifting into his wolf Dark chocolate brown with a tan patch on his eye pretty wolf. As he lunges at me I leap into the air to miss the contact. He lands in dirt and seems to only anger him. He then goes to leap on me when I slide under him to avoid his large body on mine. You can say after quite a few years of fighting for survival you learn a thing or two. He then begins to stalk me to the edge of the circle. So I face him and stop dead in my tracks wanting him to make a move. He then lunges toward me again and I jump on his back making him hit the ground hard and put him in a choke hold with my legs pinning his paws to his sides. After a few struggling moments he submits. He gets up, goes behind a tree and shifts head hung in defeat as he returns. I don't want any hard feelings of course so I spoke.
"The only reason it was so easy was because you let your emotions cloud your judgment. You need to keep a clear mind in a fight, make your enemy lose focus, remember your wolf doesn't strengthen you, you strengthen your wolf." He nodded in agreement, understanding I got him riled up. That's why I won.
Then the scent hit me. Pine and fresh rain. Oh no he's here watching me so i turn heel and decide to go back to my thinking place. I can't handle my wolf howling in my head to find my second chance mate and be touched by him. As I reached my destination and took a seat he came up beside me.
"That was pretty awesome what you did back there." he said in his deep toned voice.
"Thanks you learn after years of dealing with rogues and evil people.
"I still can't figure out why my mate doesn't want me why she's not accepting our bond.''
"Maybe there's a reason in the past you do not need to know and for that she has learned to keep herself guarded." as he stares into my eyes trying to figure out what i meant i see his eyes cloud over knowing he's in mind. All of a sudden Jordin yells Momma Help. That was all it took. I raced to her.
When I reached her I saw several rogues had her and two other pups cornered to the wall of the house. How did they get so close without anyone noticing. I heard Jax footsteps behind. I did not wait for my baby and those pups needed me so I ran and jumped and landed right in front of the children and rogues. The kids were crying, making me and my wolf very unhappy.
"Well well who do we have here." he said in more of a fun fact not a question.
"I told you mean rogues my momma would save us." Jordin says with sniffles in her voice from the crying.
"Now you listen you little b***h pup watch your mouth before i cut out your tongue." he spat at her.
That was all it took before I was seeing red. Snow took control of my body elongating her claws and letting her incisors grow. She jumped at the wolf, threatened her pup and the other children and ripped out his throat. She then began clawing and biting any rogue that came near. After several minutes the rogues threatening the children were dead. Snow walked and knelt in front of the children scanning over them and took Jordin and hugged her breathing in her scent to calm herself. His smell hit us again knowing I could not get control back. I pleaded with snow.
'Please snow don't do anything, Please i need time.' I begged in her mind. She huffed at me as he walked to us. Seeing my now emerald eyes he knew it was my wolf.
The children ran into their parents arms as he approached me.
"I don't believe we have had the pleasure, what is your name?" he asked
"Snow, i have already met you Jax." he eyed her with curiosity.
"Why do you not accept me?" He said we both could see sadness in his eyes.
"I do accept you but my human here has been through more than you can imagine. She blocked me out for a lot of it. She did not want me to bear with what happened. She doesn't trust easily and if you truly want us as your mate and equal you will have to prove yourself." she said very firmly but with love in her voice.
"I would do anything for you both. We both would. As long as we have you by our side." Snow nodded to him. She then closed her eyes letting me take back control. As he touched our shoulder and whispered "I will always be your sun on your rainiest days if you let me." "I will stay at least a week more. I have some things I need to think over.
He then turned and checked on his warriors who fought against rogues and the children. I was speechless for once. I only picked up Jordin and took her to her room. I felt this not so normal feeling in my stomach. I was being pulled to him by the bond but my heart was wanting to try, maybe just maybe it was not all bad.
