Too obvious

A circle of hundreds formed around my aunt who held my uncles lifeless body, the cracks of branches was the only thing heard amoung the sobs by his pack and allies as I ran towards her. I held them close and she pulled me into a tight embrace.

”Where is jake Aurora. His pack needs him..” she spoke calmly.

”I-I I’m sorry Luna they took them.. All of them.. The alpha and betas and deltas an-and Jake..” I weeped.

“We have to be strong for our packs sweetheart we need to give them hope. You will lead us to salvation, I can feel it in my bones.” She whispered loud enough for me to hear.

“Yes Luna.” I raised to my feet and shifted. I let out a painful howl my heart breaking at the treasure I just found and losing it so quickly. Wolves who were still in human form shifted and howled before me. Pain and remorse filling the air.

My body was aching and healing in a repeatitive cycle and I knew my mate was being hurt. Trying to fight the urge to rip anyone’s throat who came near me.

We had a group of 200 of the best seeker wolves trying to find them. Their scents would drift off into nothing just like they had vanished. Burials and ceremony’s were held everyday and the last one was for my Uncle. It was hard knowing that Jake was somewhere out there and would be able to feel the lost of his Alpha and the strength of him becoming the new Alpha.

2 Weeks had gone by and nothing was being done fast enough. I was stressing and sleep deprived. My wolf whined all the time so I had to cut her off. I was running out of plans and quickly. I sat in my office going over the same map I had gone over 100 times and still no luck. i sighed rubbing my temples in frustration. I had a pup in me and I couldn’t even keep anything down! What the hell is wrong with me.

*knock knock*

“Enter.” I said monotone.

”Luna, I am healed thanks to you: and I wanted to see if I could track them using dark magic.” Molly spoke softly.

“What are the concequences using dark magic.” I replied.

”well for a normal witch it would drain their energy but in my circumstance so far nothing.. I’ve pushed myself to do spells I once struggled and haven’t had any side affects.”

“Very well. Anything is helpful. Is there anything I can assist you on doing this.”

“No Luna I can try it now if you’d like. I can’t promise anything though.” I nodded as she pulled candles out of the bag she was holding as she sat them in a circle on the floor. She put a map in the middle and pulled out a vile that resembled black sand and began chanting.

The room turned dark, the.candles lit and grew bigger as her chanting got louder. The black mixture on the map began to swirl until it suddenly split into six piles then 1 pile. Which landed on the pack house. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

“What the fuxk is this a joke.” I yelled.

”No Luna. It worked I’ve seen this being performed before the number of piles is how many people you are seeking if they were located in different places there would be more than one pile..”

“So they’ve been here the whole time. Right under our noses.” I rubbed my temples again and held my stomach as it growled. “Hey little buddy you hungry there.” I smiled at my stomach.

”Excuse me a minute Molly I will be right back after I sort out my growing pup.”

“Of course Luna please take your time.”

I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a few sandwiches scoffing them down I got an orange juice out when a pain crept up my abdomin making me scream. I grabbed a cloth once the pain subsided and threw it in the laundry bin when I realised something.

“Molly round up the alphas and 40 of our best guards then meet me at the packhouse basement now!”

All this time they’ve been right f*****g under us! LITERALLY. My motherly instincts were kicking in and I was going into protective mode to protect my mate and pup. Whoever did this will soon rot in hell with everyone else.
