I freeze at my dad's words. I looked over at Kezia, who was looking off into the forest. She has been helping me in my search for the wendigo. Honestly, I just wanted an excuse to spend some time with her, and this way I can keep her safe as well.
“I have to go back. They found Cheryl. Can I walk you back to your room?”
