It had been years that his grandfather Apollo died, but the story he told young Lucas still stuck to his mind till this day.
"What if the story was true?" That question had been stuck to his mind all along.
Today was August 25, a Thursday. It was an important day for Lucas. The day his grandfather died. He has been visiting him every month and leaving flowers.
"Hey pops" he said as he approaches the grave, He sits down beside him. He was wearing his casual clothes with the flowers beside him.
"How are you? Training's still killing me" He said as him he was actually talking to him.
"I wonder what happened to my parents....I mean, my grandparents never talked about them. I wonder when I can meet them" Lucas sighs
He stayed with him until he heard the bell ringing from the Historia. He was only visiting him during his lunch breaks due to the fact that he was busy.
He went to Historia, a school full only for boys, a school to train them and educate them.
He went back there to continue and finish his training and make his family proud. Even though he had been training for years, his ranking level was still low while his seniors and even some of his juniors have a higher level than him.
Due to his grandfather’s dying wish, the last story he had told Lucas was about the Arcane Stone; He couldn’t focus well on Training.
The only thing that was on his mind was to fulfill the wish. And it had been there ever since then. And because his ranking in school and level on training was low, his teacher decided to remove him from the training without the notice of his family.
He also had been bullied several times from his seniors and sometimes his juniors whose levels are higher than him. Abused and bullied at school, he couldn’t bare to tell anyone about it even telling his late grandfather.
He didn’t want to dishonor his family. After what happened in Historia he had been called “weak” and “i***t".
After school, he decided to go home to his grandmother’s tiny but cozy home. There, he hid himself and cried.
But of course, he had some close and caring friends. His Grandmother Ara, Anderson and Nefeli.
“Is this my reason to live in this world? To be weak?” He asks himself while his friends were beside him.
“No” Anderson says as he rubs Lucas’ back.
“Maybe you’re weak right now, but that’s not the reason why you’re here. But your more than that. You’ll be a successful man someday” Grandmother Ara said.
Lucas calmed down and smiled, forgetting the events that had happened in Historia for a while.
“Thanks Grandma, Anderson and Nefeli. I appreciate you guys.” He said wiping his tears.
Saturday came around faster than they thought and Grandmother Ara went to other town so the three boys decided to the forest in the mountain and fish there.
They walked and threw stones until they got into the river. Nefeli dipped his feet and automatically took both of them out running towards the rest.
“The water is so cold today” He said putting shoes on. “Well yeah, what did you expect? It rained yesterday. That’s what happens” Anderson said
They decided to sit on big and round rock since they wanted somewhere to sit while catching fish.
While fishing, Lucas and Anderson saw a girl who seemed lost and did not know where she was or where she was going.
Both Lucas and Anderson called for Nefeli and said they saw a woman who was lost. "Let's help her" Lucas and Anderson said at the same time.
They immediately stopped fishing and descended slowly over large chunks of rock to approach the woman.
"Who are you, where are you from, what's your name?" Anderson asked one question after another. "Relax Anderson" Lucas said "Hey are you ok? Lucas asked the woman.
Suddenly the woman fell down and fell and hit her head on the rock. They were scared and panicked because they didn't know what to do.
After a while, They picked up the woman and was taken to the town of Athorus where they lived. When they arrived in town, they laid her in a room to rest. They made sure she was rested comfortably.
